This has been bugging me a little and I want to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. When I buy an app (Apparatus, most recently) it gives me no option to refund. It did the same thing when I purchased Splashtop HD. So, anyone else having a problem with no refund button showing?
I was able to refund an app a few nights ago. Perhaps you missed the 15minute window?

Nah, it was less than 3 minutes before I wanted to refund that game. I forgot that I got it from Amazon earlier in the week.

That would probably work. I'm more interested in finding out if anyone else has noticed this, though. If it's just on my end, then maybe I can fix something in my account settings.

Its not just you. I had the same issue when buying ADW EX. I use Launcher Pro on my DX but didnt like it on my tablet so decided to take 5 minutes to play with ADW. I bought it, played for a couple of minutes and resigned myself to accepting the stock launcher.....but...like you found no refund button.
I honestly think you just cant return some apps.. I read the return policy and think it refers to "applications that are eligible for returns" perhaps not all are.

Did you use "Charge my Sprint Account" or something similar while buying it? I found that when I bought and charged my carrier, I was unable to refund, I think because they do not have the ability to "Credit" an account.

I know this is late, but this happen to me also and Google & Dev try to make it seem like I was missing the 15 minute window, in which I was not, and since they try to make it seem like I was the problem, I insist they give me back my money, was going to let go($6.00) but they attitude force me to want the little money BACK.
Some do not offer the refund option, especially of they have a lite or free version to try first. If you read their description, you will see their policy.

i have just bought this for $15.. and i cant get it to work.. i can get the original shell BETA to work, but once i put the 3d v1.0 on my phone i cant get it to work, it force closes everytime i hit home button...im thinking it is my ROM

not to worried about it, i got donated $15 today, and i seen that it came out.. so i said what the hell, i didnt lose anything

yeah brother ...btw i tried it on a garminefone my friend has and it just didnt work..it just did as mine..nothing just black screen for about 3 seconds and back to the original launcher...no works
its is amazing ..works fantastic on my nexus s. blew up adw ex or lp ..seriously..widgets are super cool

ok i found something on the internet, saying to turn airplane mode on, then try using it again, then once configured and running turn airplane mode back off...

FWIW, he contacted me without even me replying and is helping to take a look at my logs. While you can argue about the pricing and Android Market's refund policies, SPB has been doing shells etc for a while, and I trust the intentions.

First of all, I'm not one of the developers, and I'm not here to convince or argue with anyone regarding whether or not this App is worth $15. You all can figure that one out on your own...
• nonpafos contacted my via PM and offered to help; he's legit, and they use a tool hosted through their website to help log
• I can say this with 99% confidence: If you are getting the black screen and then quitting, you didn't get this through the Android Market. I know this, because I did the same thing. Whether through A*net, a friend, whatever, the APK you have is not the original. It has been modified, which leads me to:
• The *original* App checks for the Android Market purchase. It does it every time it boots, which is why buying this, backing it up, refunding it, and restoring it won't work. You can try it, but it won't work. I know this, because I did the same thing
• The App works if you purchase it legitimately. SPB support is also legitimate support, and replies quickly (at least during regular hours, AFAIK). They offered to refund me within 24 hours if I purchased the App through the Market. This was a necessary point in convincing me to try the App
• I support developers, and DO NOT support pirating. However, I will readily admit to using "alternate sources" for the purposes of testing an App before buying. You will very likely find that 15 minutes is not enough time to evaluate this App, but recognize that that is Google's limitation, not SPB's. My recommendation is to contact SPB and get an offer from them to refund within 24 hours. SPB/nonpafos: An awesome sign of good faith would be to publicly post that you will offer 24-hour test periods, but you may not want to

Anyone know what the return policy for gamestop is? Tablet purchased on friday, opened today (Sunday). Experiencing horrible bugs and overall unhappy with the device ... at this point I would prefer a full refund. Much rather wait for the "nexus tablet" which will most likely beat this tablet in every way possible both hardware and software wise.

I just got home with my ATP/dock and turned it on to make some video's to upload to youtube and post here. I installed the update.
With over half a battery charge left it restarted out of nowhere. I said uhhhh ok. Then I started to play Riptide GP and it stutters every now and then for about 2 to 3 seconds....WTF. I'm currently on hold with the manager who is pissed off at me, trying to see what he can do about a refund. I've only had this thing for about an hour.
Is anyone else experiencing stuttering in Riptide GP and random restarts?

The manager said the best he could do is give me a call tomorrow. I'm about to leave to go to the store and get my money back. Hopefully someone will post some good advice soon to fix the problems I'm having. Aesthetically my unit is perfect

You definitely have a dud. No random restarts, and riptide/shadowgun run great on mine. I would expect a new unit from them. Amazon didn't hesitate to set me up with a replacement order for my screen problems.

Yes, Gamestop doesn't have a refund policy per se. That said, its policy is geared to the items it sells, which are mostly software. Hardware is an exception. If you have a defective product and you return it within a few days, you have the right to an IMMEDIATE exchange. If they don't have stock on hand. You have the right to demand a refund.
There are two ways to do this. You can go back on their busiest returns day of the year (either tomorrow the 26th or the 2nd), and make a scene. Refuse to budge until you are satisfied.
If you aren't the confrontational type, which is totally understandable, then whip out your phone and get the whole interaction on video. Get the manager's name and his statement recorded. Make sure it's date stamped. Post it on Vimeo or Youtube. This will be your indelible proof of "a reasonable attempt to return a defective product," if it goes to arbitration. Next, contact your credit card company and dispute the charge. Then, go buy at some place else.
I do not recommend palming your problem child off on some other unwitting buyer. You already have your Xmas messed up. You don't want to ruin Xmas for somebody else. Bad karma and all that.

i'm exchanging mine after having lag with the keyboard, light bleed (on the boot screen, but not seen during normal use), and weird issues with the screen flickering and doing this shifting thing up and down. Yesterday, all of a sudden when I would press the shift key on the keyboard, I would hear a hissing noise out of the speaker. Happened three times. Since the store I purchased it from is almost 2 hours away, I am waiting for a call back from the manager to see if they can order me a replacement and have it shipped to the non-tablet Game top where I live.

I searched alot for this fix but really only found moded Play Store apps. It turns out the fix is a lot more simple than that. No modded apps required (this worked for me and hopefully for you.
When you change the DPI, you get Google Store "incompatible apps" problem. The fix is this. First, I went to the app and deleted the cache. Then I uninstalled the google play store app. Reboot the phone, made sure the dpi setting of my phone was where I wanted it to be, in my situation, 260, then relaunched the google play store or market (whatever its called after you uninstall it). It reinstalled and presto....all my apps came back. I think it does a call out to the system to see what dpi your phone is running at and stores that somewhere...then serves you up what is compatible with your phone based on the first time query settings. Anyway, this worked for me and hopefully for you.
And I am running ICS 4.0.4 running the OnlyOne Rom version 4. I am not sure it will work on other versions of android but am pretty sure you have nothing to lose by trying it.
Please tell me if it works for you.

This only works when the play store your using is modded for dpi changes, other wise it will come back after awhile. This is a known fact why the make the modded markets. But maybe I'm wrong, doubt it tho!

Its been a few years since I have been to BG...I get a freaking year pass every time some guest comes down and wants to go (cheaper for me that way) but luckily, no visitors in a bit over a year now so my passes have expired. I moved closer to the beach now (largo/clearwater) just 5 min to beach.
No topless beaches around here that I know of...damn!

I dont have a link to a modded play store....being an engineer, I try to pick the simple solutions first and if they dont work, I move off to the more complicated solutions..although replacing the store app is not that complicated. In either event, I would/will if this does not work or stops working...but so far so good....
The bigger question is Why does it work for a period of time, and then stop as some of you have stated. What files are being accessed and/or changed, etc.

It will change when the market does a check on your phone. The modded markets stop the check and the upgrade that the market does after it realizes what dpi your running. no telling when it will check, I figured once you app needed an upgrade it would check but maybe its on a scheduled timeframe.

Same thing just started happening with my Craigsnotifica app, none of the search results have any of the original text, but photos are still there. It's bummer too, because it appears that all development has stopped on this app. I tried some of the other CL search apps and nothing compares to this. It's the most efficient CL search app out there! if anyone finds out anything more about fixes or updates, please postany info you have.
Mine is doing the same thing starting yest. I think development stopped on this app when CL put the smack down on their API, and I suspect the text not pulling is CL tweaking the API. Sucks cause I had a whole job hunting system down pat, but at least it still pulls headlines, and then its just one more button to hit to load the original post webpage. Who knows how long that'll last.

I'm glad someone posted this up... it began happening to me a couple of days ago while I was out and about. I was so puzzled I uninstalled and re-installed and set up and everything. I had a bad feeling something had changed behind the scenes at CL and that the app was no longer 100% compatible. It figures, and it was only a matter of time as all development had stopped for this app. This makes me really sad. At least for now I can still hit the web link to get to the page for each ad I want to see, but I'm not very hopeful as I've tried a number of different apps in the past and none have been as nice and as effective as this one.
Has anyone ever tried to contact the dev and see what's going on? His last Twitter update was back in July, and then just *poof*.
There is another app that does notifications. It's called c*Pro craigslist Client Droid. The free version lets you save one notification, and the pro ($1.99) lets you save multiple. I just purchased so I'm not entirely sure how good it it is... YMMV.

So whats the feedback with the app? Is it as good as craigsnotifca?
cPro is pretty good. Try the free version.
CPro is okay. I don't like that you have click on the arrow buttons to see results in other areas. I'm not sure how you do an OR or AND search as well.

Notifications aren't working in CLapp.
I guess we are out of luck in terms of something with the same simple functionality of CL notifications?
I purchased GTA San Andreas, ended up not liking it (controls too awkward + have PC version), so I refunded it. I was actually out of the 15 minute refund window but I went to the Google Play store and did the "report a problem" flow, and was issued said refund.

Android allows you to do a lot of things, xda on the other hand doesn't.
Please don't ask for illegal things here on XDA
