I have a very big problem with my sms's...
1. When I send an answer to an incoming sms my sms chance the succession...
as a sample:
dude sms - 09:45pm
my sms - 09:45pm
... hd2 chance to:
my sms - 09:45pm
dude sms - 09:45pm
2. My hd2 save one sms without any intervention from me to simcard...
3. Yesterday friend don't become my sms, despite send confirmation...
I use the new Artemis v61, but i have this problem since v58...
Can anyone help me or give me tips? Hope my explanations are ok...

I've been using this rom for one month now and I'm satisfied. But after some days I found out that messaging always force close when I send SMS. Or when I restored my SMS via SMS backup + I just open my messaging and force close. Downloaded new client - Chomp SMS, which helped me to send SMS, but still no incoming SMS (friend tried to send , nothing recieved). Any solutions ?

I have a problem like every samsung on Android did .. With the Stock Client SMS, after 3 page of sms it converse by itself to a MMS .. and i have unlimited sms so i would like to disable this fonction.. But i don't want to change my Sms client ( Go Sms .. )

Impossible to achieve that without rooting or using an sms client from the market. If you had root, there's a modified sms.apk in another thread that could do that. Without root, your only chance is to install an sms client from the market. Go SMS Pro or Handcent SMS can send more than 3 sms. I tested them myself, but i don't like them either. Thing is my phone doesn't send more than 1 sms and it gets converted to mms as soon as i reach 160 characters. I'd be happy if i could send 480, like all the other SII owners
From similar posts fix is < MMS_mod_cwm_by_muveszur-signed > requires root .

I have installed several SMS clients that work perfect:
1) Go SMS Pro
2) ChompSMS
Both works perfect sending & receiving SMS from my JetStream with an ORANGE sim card
Go to filestube and you can get the apk's there
where are you guys finding the apps? on the market all they have is skins and plugins for all the apps mentioned?
to be clear i want to send normal txt msgs not use one of the apps to send and recieve through your phone using BT or one of those online sms sending apps.

i got handcent working, but i am still interested in trying to integrate the droid sms messages app.
(btw i found it easier to just browse to the handcent website and d/l from there)

I have a problem.
I urgently need a sms back-up program that exports a document to my pc with a full conversation between me and a person, chronologically. Like the threaded view. I don't want the sent items and recieved separated.
Any ideeas ?

iMobile SMS backup has a small PC app that displays sms individually or via contacts, contacts shows in a thread type way with sent items.

I have a Coolpad 7296. Everything works fine, but the phone does not receive SMS messages without a sender number.
Any idea how to fix this? The phone is rooted - I have already tried an alternative SMS App (Go SMS Pro).

The following workaround did it for me:
Replace the messaging.apk from /system/apk with another sms app (Go SMS Pro for me).
