I have seen a Telus 10s (2.2.1 I think) version too.
But ya, Koodo's is a 10v version (2.2.1). Rooting my Koodo Optimus One was annoying since the current root method only works on 2.2, not 2.2.1 .

Hi, i have just got my phone not long ago, and i had decided to root it. I followed all the instruction and i used some randomly found V10G 00.kdz and it doesn't work out, does any one of you still have that file?
I've searched all over but I just can't find the correct KDZ file for the LG Optimus V... I have everything setup with KDZ Updater but I just can't find the damn file. =( Any help, PLEASE?

Thanks... I posted... You would think that someone would be kind enough to post the file, seeing as many have to downgrade in order to root.

I couldn't find it but the P509 Stock ROM should be compatible with your Optimus V. They are basically the same phone just different carriers I guess.

Nevermind guys, I was able to root my 2.2.1 Optimus V by following this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=935312
I did NOT have to downgrade and was able to root it without a problem. The BIG thing here is to make sure you install the Virgin drivers correctly, which the OP gives you links to. Thanks!

not sure if it was ever available. did you check TheLogiC's thread? the generic X10a_3.0.1.G.0.75 is available for download.

SOLVED: used this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=872298 replaced the generic files in the rom with the rogers ones and flashed it and it worked!
I recently Bricked my Lg Risio (H-343) for the installation of xposed in my smartphone. and the device dont cross from cricket bootanimation, :crying: i need help please the Lg is new and my only smartphone for now .
If anyone has this device and can make a backup of your frimware you really appreciate it n.n
