I am new to this forum, please guide me as much as you all can and I thank you all for the same in advance.
Well am using a HTC Touch P3452 (elf 100) phone, it is a WM 6.x
I have the .Net frame work 3.5 installed in it.
I need some help, as I like to install new kinds of s/w every day and test them.
First I think my Touch Flo or the so called Manila is a 2D can I install a 3D version if YES, link please, if NO, reason please.
Second Can I upgrade this WM 6.x to WM 7 if YES, link please, if NO, reason please.
Third Can I install HTC Cube which version if YES, link please, if NO, reason please.
Fourth I found a s/w xend-red-touchflo can this work in my phone, if YES, link please, if NO, reason please.
Fifth I had some problem with XDA-Wifi-Sharing s/w, I have posted the problem in a related thread, please help by reading my problem and giving me a solution.
I would also be highly obliged if all can send me a mail rather than just replying here so that I can expedite the process with the solutions.

1 . Manila 3d is the 2.5 version or higher, our machines don´t have the requeriments to run it, i think the minime resolution is vga, ours is qvga .
2. WP7 need minimum 1ghz processor, we have 208 mhz. Elf only can upgrade up to wm 6.5.5, but if you want, can install some interface with skins like wp7 with this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=649362, we use qvga version. there is other skins but for me this is the better.
If you want upgrade your device read this thread, this is the rom i use Onyx 6 rc14 with wm 6.5.5, really is faster than original rom. i recomend it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426540

The day after I flashed WM6.5 on my Prophet,it became slower and slower,on the contrary,my desktop computer become faster,for I have updated it a few days ago.

Today,my Prophet is become old,and often founded some problem by sudden.I wanna to buy a new phone,such as HD,or Diamond II.I donot know which is more suitable to me.Can you all give me some suggestions?

呵呵，好久没在830区看到中国人了，我一直在这里逗留~
我个人习惯这个论坛的管理操作~特别喜欢这里的人，因为他们的贴子和回贴从来没有废话，可以很容易在贴子中获得需要的知识和解决方法，而国人基本回贴清一色的就几个字，什么“顶”，“支持”等等，没有任何建设性意义...
Personally id buy an HD, just for the screen size, but then im going to say that as i have one hehe..... As for 6.5 on our prophet, the Rom takes up too much storage and requires more hardware than our beloved prophet can reasonably give, even if overclocked.
Also, as this is an english fourm, please also post a translation if speaking in another language.
ps, i sold my prophet with varanus 6.1 manila which imho was the best working rom.

Thx!!!I think HD is better,but it's too large to handle,it's a big problem to my little hands.
I know 6.5 rom takes up too much storage on our Prophet,and in China,6.5 seems not as suitable as 6.1 to Chinese people.Ha～Ha～
And the Chinese language,some words is useless to others except Chinese people,such as discussed some cookers in China,so that's why I did it.

K01 is 7inches. this should probably be tg02. but any how the UI is bettr in the pic. this can be ported to tg01. That is my idea. we can get all negatives rectified by porting wht all we wanted like radio OS ui n many more. Definetly they would have rectified n improved all defects errors mainly battery drivers. its wm6.5.3 were grphics should be the size of our tgo1 4.1inches.
Day by day our tg is becoming stronger n stronger. lot of chefs to cook better roms,port anything maximum we need.
Due to the failure kinda image to tg01 made them chng name to iso2.

was ur wm org or ported if orginal post ur today screen, i wanted to see the diff between cooked rom n org ones. just screen shots thats it.

its not a dumb question , i wish i could answer it , but i dont have a x02t (chin?) or t01a (jap) version of the toshiba , but i think it will be the same situation as those devices versus the tg01
u should read up on those in the rom section for info ...
also how much did u pay for it ?

you neednt apologize. your information is very important for us you have done great job by posting these images. your rom is worth, stay with it, dont try anything else unless u get one or a need, your rom contribution will be useful for chefs who cook romz for tg01.
UI of your phone is sleek n worth a try.

There's nothing remarkable about them that was not there when the TG01 was released in June last year. A capacitive touchscreen updated the TG01 and the AMOLED Capacitive display and QWERTY sliding keyboard as well a more capable 3D user interface are the only things differentiating the K01.
Its time for the chef to think about cooking k01 rom for tg01.

That's why I was thinking I could probably throw that ROM on this phone
So I have had my HD2 a few months now and I've been happy with the stock look and feel.
Now I would like to start trying a few of the xda add ons and roms.....
However I do not wish to blindly jump...I figured I would ask the pros here.
So I would like to move up to the newer windows 6.5.x ( not sure what version were at), with the task bar at the bottom.
So I am on the Rogers Network ( Ontario Canada), with an Unlocked HD2.
I bought it on line but was unaware at the time I got wrong unit for here, as I only have edge...no 3g ( Unit from Hong Kong via Vancouver and ACEGSM).
No worries though, as I do not need 3G as I do so little on line on phone...Weather, a little FB, Yahoo mail, MSN Mail....so Edge works awesome for me.
So if I am to flash say mainly a stock look and feel to start, where should I start?

hey man, instead of flashing a new rom why not try cht first. its an easy .cab install and truely is awesome. after you installed that, you can then go on to mod your phone with new clocks, skins....well just about anything really. cht offers a quality starting block to build upon. just a thought bud........

So I still nned to find out, is there an HTC rom upgrade to move me up to Windows 6.5.3 ??? (or what ever the latest version is )
Or is that only by using a rom from XDA?
The reason I ask is it would be nice for me to have the buttons along the bottom of the screen, rather then the 2 screen buttons and the start at the top.....my thumb is rather stubby, so getting to start is a 2 hand job
There arent any official 6.5.x roms with the bottom start button, you'd have to HSPL your device and use a cooked rom for XDA.
Check the stickies in the rom development section for all the info you need on this.
Im not gonna make an assumption as to which model of HD2 you have, if it is the american model (green and red hardkeys / big fat double chin) then you need to be aware of the radio your flashing....
Seeing as you got it from HK then its probably not that one, better safe than sorry though....
As long as you read up on the subject first and make sure your reading the correct information for your device you cant really go wrong.
95% of the "bricked" phone horror stories you see on here are down to people not doing their homework first....
You mention that you'd prefer a close to stock feel for a custom rom so probably either an "artemis" or one of dutty's roms would be your best choice....
To be honest though if your happy with the performance your getting from your stock rom then it might not be worth the switch unless you really really want the 6.5.x look.....
+1 on the CHT suggestion too.
A must have (in my humble opinion) for any HD2....

I will try CHT first before a flash, then when I have read, reread, understand the steps required I will try the roms named.
I have to say XDA is an awesome place to learn....it was a godsend giving my SMT 5600 (Typhoon) new life. As my friend who now uses my old phone will tell you.
Now I will be able to keep my HD2 feeling fresh and fun, thanks to XDA and it's awesome people

I'd like to flash something better on it, & in english. WM 6.5 maybe? or at least 6.1 in english.

Ok, as previous DFT work, i was authorized from DFT Admin to post here their last release, The Green mango.
Here is a description (credits goes to zjw831 from DFT site) :

HD2 is the best device I have used
can anyone confirm this is working for tmous hd2's?

Boot into HSPL and flash a WM6.5 ROM of your choice as per normal.
2 Questions
Question regarding the SD card.
Can it be removed before installation and then re-added after complete so that it does not partition the SD card? Or will it still partition it after its inserted? Or will it just not allow a proper installation?
Can WP7 be added with Magldr 1.11 since in the screenshot it says you need at least Magldr 1.09 to install it?
You can just re-flash a Windows Mobile 6.5 Rom and everything will go back.

Oh man; so what if Christmas was 3 weeks ago. Thanks to all at DFT.
Understood about Live Services and syncing of calendar/contacts. But will it still sync with (my work) exchange server? That would help in making me decide to toss out WP6.5/Adnroid.
