Thanks Section
First I want to thank RootzWiki for this awesome forum that we can share our work on. Next I would like to thank my team for putting up with me disappearing for two weeks to make this work for you guys. There are so many people I want to thank for making this possible. First biggest thanks to slayher, he did this first and has helped out with ALOT of bugs that he had to deal with when there was no one else here to help him fix them. He also helped me update this to mr2.5 General thanks go to birdman, b16, cvpcs, the whole cm team, peteralfonso, drod2169, ksknightmare, the irc guys, sgarriques, imoseyon, the users in this thread including avlfive and jaxidian and mikereDD which i've seen answer hundreds of questions. If I don't have you listed and you helped in some way, biggest thanks to you. Im old sorry.

What is this!? I'm very excited about this new ROM.

Glad to finally see this for the fascinate!! I'll definitely be taking a break from Miui and check this out
Sent from my SPH-P100 using XDA App

just out of curiosity, what makes this rom different from cynogen?

I've been watching this develop over in the Fascinate General thread for a while... I'm pumped this has finally come to fruition! Great job man.

WOW r2DoesInc, good to see you guys here, Ive been runing OMFGB on my Tbolt for a week now, it freaking flies! Now I can put it on my girl's fascinate WOOTT! Thank you for your hard work.

If I wasn't heading to work in an hour I would flash this in a heart beat. I guess I'll wait until I get home to test this out. Also I'm a metro pcs user and I'm curious if this will have data. *begins full backups of everything in preparation*
Sent from my I500 using Tapatalk

Humm... I must be retarded. I cant find the download link. There is nothing in the fascinatemtd folder and there is nothing on your website.

So the download link isn't in the FascinateMTD?

If you look in the general section, you can find the first build I dropped, but this is for nightlies, which will being in a few hours.

Cool, I'll just wait a few hours then

Which GAPPS would you recommend? Is the only difference between the two, that the lithid one has a newer gtalk?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App

Hmm. I'm a little confused as to what I'm suppose to download and install. I see the gapps, but, where is the ROM. I'll wait to see what happens overnight.

It's going to be a few hours before the ROM is dropped. Read up top.
Side note: Assuming we will be going back to DL09 and doing all this crazy MTD flashing again? Hopefully there will be some instructions for those new to OMFG Roms.

Google Alps can be downloaded and flashed from the god mode appear in the rom.
Install instructions are in the second post....

It's great to see this pop up in the Fascinate forums. I hope you guys keep up the dev work by taking some bug reports and sharing the device specific fixes with the rest of the crew should you come across them.

When would you suggest flashing the GAPPS? After flashing OMFGB package or after you flash the CM7 package again (post 3 finger recovery)?
edit: I'm guessing the OMFGB package means the OMFGB rom and GAPPS?

We are still playing catchup, but that's the plan. Once we get up to speed on everything, we hope to be able to help it out.

PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT. This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
PER-APP-COLOR, Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

Sorry clearly missunderstand that. I thought original section is whatever gets something built from scratch, as my OTA app does. However, thanks for the correction

This is a light Rom that i built off of cm9. I just wanted to see if i could build a Rom, and i did... so i made some mods to it to slim it down a little bit as i like a very light Rom. I took alot of the cm9 features out of it to make it closer to AOSP. This is done the way that i like it and will only change if Dman who i now am repoing off his github makes a big change it would probably change this but it will always stay a light rom. I built it the way i wanted to. You can take and run ,mod it to your liking what ever i just wanted to share it with you.

Noobs need not apply. Please leechers, do not request any gimmicky features for this rom or pester the Dev. There's a reason he named it "SeraphimSlim"
Sorry, too many dev's being taken for granted. Let the Dev's cook, stay out of the kitchen!
Only 90mb? So sick!!! Thanks!

[ROM][CM10] Kang - 10/13/2012

Cyanogenmod 10
JZO54K
This is a build 100% based off Entropy512's fantastic work found here. Builds are made straight from the latest CM, THS & TheMuppets github repositories.
CM10 is still in early development. In Entropy512's own words: "You want to live on the bleeding edge, you're probably gonna get cut"
Visit his CM10 user thread first to read up
Check BBQLogs for some good general (read: not i777 specific) reference on CM10 changelogs: http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#galaxys2/cm10/next
Usual disclaimers apply. I am not responsible for anything that occurs after flashing this ROM, including but not limited to:
- Spontaneous wetting of oneself
- Plastic in your underwear melting
- Increased popularity
Instructions
1. Enter CWM.
2. flash both the ROM and gapps
3. full wipe if coming from anything other than CM10
4. Reboot and dance the happy dance
Note: this is a native kang, not a ported ROM.

ROM download mirror: http://d-h.st/hIF Built: 9/12
gapps download link: http://goo.im/devs/Fusion777/gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip
Working:
ROM is pretty much fully functional, including:
Calls / MMS, BT Stereo Audio & Tethering, WiFI Tethering, Themes,NFC including Tapp functionality, Torch Toggle, MTP/Mass Storage mode
Glitchy:
* memory leak may motivate you to reboot every day or so
* Gallery doesn't sync with Picasa web
Special to this kang:
- 5Ghz Wi-Fi patch
- Meticulously clean and human-reviewed build environment
Extra Info
This ROM is the same as the nightlies, except for above changes & that I test it on my own phone before publishing. That said, numerous people suggest this Kang has a more reliable feel to it than the nightlies.
If you enjoy this ROM, don't forget to stop by Entropy512's user thread and share the love

True story. I personally dig having the newer 'minor' stuff. To each their own
May be a stupid question but when I click on the BBQ changelog then click on downloads. It says its for CM9?? Just wondering if they didnt change it to CM10? Thanks for doing this. Im going to give this a shot. Think I will hold off on this. Just checked the downloads again. One says galaxy s2 and the one underneath it says galaxy s2 att? I see the att one is cm7? Would like a little more info. Better to be safe than sorry!! Thanks.
Thank you for a more up to date version.
Edit: Going to flash now, dl speed for the gapps was low.
Is there a specific change log?

Thanks for doing this.. a lot of people have been itching for the newest..including me
The BBQ log site is definitely a little wonky you have to keep selecting 'cm10'. Don't let the change logs mislead you, this is definitely an i777 build with additional i777 updates by teamhacksung, the bbqlogs don't reflect this.
I'm looking for a more appropriate composite change log for our devices and will update OP when I find it.
The gerrit one http://review.cyanogenmod.com is fairly well organized but again not filtered by our device.

Google CM10 and you'll have your screen shots. Its a stock looking rom. You can picture it in your head.
Is anyone having a brightness issue? My brightness is about 50%, no auto. Anyways, is is a lot brighter on the home screen and when you go to an app the brightness is lower? To proof this, when you go to the home screen, and go to the recent apps the brightness is normal in the windows of the apps

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks.
This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode.
This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually.
Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course.
Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on.
This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size.
You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to.
You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot.
You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode.
Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself.
This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

Notta's PA Rom works and is stable.
I don't see why there is another version of a great Rom. I know the more roms are better but if you going to produce a copy of a Rom, you have to go better and newer version not old. I don't mean to come off as a sick or trolling but I've been running PA since day one and Notta's version is a beast.

That is like saying why so many Sense roms? We already have one.
Why make an ics rom when jb is out?
Some prefer a solid rom and Swiper does update.
Who else is doing that for PA?

I'm just glad that there's a PA thread AT ALL that is active and has a reputable dev behind it.
I remember swiperrat from the Evo 4g and I'm thankful for any and all ROM's that he builds for us...
Thanks swiper!

Was it necessary for you to enter this thread to voice your opinion? (Rhetorical) You were just open to another PA ROM from another "dev" and now you've got a negative outlook. Voice your opinions on Twitter. Come here to commend or in a helpful manner. It's not that hard.
Hope this gets updated ..love PA Roms

System UI force closes indefinitely after I tap the Halo button in the status bar.

So I'm not having any FC's, but does anyone know how to dismiss the last notification for HALO? It stays there when after I've looked at it or tried to dismiss it by swiping up on it...
Edit: Also looks like T-Mo is testing LTE here in Denver, and when I woke up this morning didn't have any data connection!!! I went into the network settings and changed it back to GSM/WCDMA and was able to pick up 3G/4G but I have yet to be able to get any LTE connectivity. I'm not pointing any fingers yet, as I'm downloading the stock rom and going to flash that and see what happens with my network connectivity, but I just thought it was weird that I can't get any data connection if my phone is connected to LTE.

Did you check to make sure you are connected to the correct network? I had to add T-Mobile LTE manually. Just choose to add one, name it whatever you want, and the APN is fast.mobile.com
Good luck!

I am absolutely LOVING PA on this device. Feels like I had a Ferrari and this whole time I was keeping it in the garage. Only one issue I've managed to find so far-
Since we have the hardware buttons, I've been running in expanded desktop with halo active, and for some reason, I can never clear out the last notification.doors that make sense? Here's a screen shot. I don't actually have any notifications now, but since my last one was a text, it still shows up. Is that normal? It keeps tricking me into thinking I have a new one.
Awesome work, dev! Thanks!
Also, (and I'm sorry to cloud the thread...even though there are only a couple of us in here ) the phone speaker audio seems a little crackly to me. Could just be me though. Man, I can't wait to see what is too come!
Haven't tested receiving, but mms isn't sending for me.

I think it's fast.t-mobile.com for the apn.
That may be your issue with mms as well because it's using the wrong apn.

No, I'm sorry, but there is definitely no dash. I did figure out the problem though! I had forgotten to assign my MMSC. If anyone is interested in what the settings need to be, here's a screenie!
Hmm...on the stock Rom there is a dash...wonder if it gets redirected like the website

Everything seems to be fine for the most part. Issues I've encountered..
-cant swipe to delete notifications please with halo on
-when halo on phone seems to drag a bit
Pretty much it.
Things that are very well integrated and would like to see in note builds.
-halo of course
-giving the option to make HTC logo the screen on or off button. this is genious and would only like to see more options even if not this is a very underrated mod.
- very fast and fluent
Future request or thoughts on from my persepective...
-add tmobile apn lte as default
-overclocked kernel baked in or reccomended
-(for all google stock roms) the option to toggle on or off the feature for each paticular phone. Ex
-stock google w blur feed
-stock google for s3,4, note 2 with multi view, aor gesture, svoice etc
I do appreciate all your work and will be donating
