No sound on YouTube - HTC EVO 3D

When I have my sound turned off and then launch YouTube I cannot get my media volume to increase. Only if I force close or reset device then turn all volume levels up then launch YouTube will it work.
So....vol off - launch app no sound
Vol on - launch app works fine

Navigation volume

Anyone else notice that the volume in navigation is extremely low? I have media volume all the way up. I've been streaming iheart radio all day and can hear it well from a good distance so I know the speaker is fine. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
Sent from my EVO using XDA
Yes. I like the new/sense voice, but the volume seems to max at half or less of the level at which I can listen to other media.
I'd love to see a solution.
I believe the navigation volume is controlled by the system volume. Unfortunately you cant get to system volume easily in the default settings app. I installed quick settings from the market which allowed setting the system volume directly.
Hope this helps

I'm pretty sure its controlled by the media volume. Apps playing music should pause or lower their volume a lot when the Navigation tries to speak, if they do not it is a problem with THAT app.
Pandora and Google Music handle this appropriately, HTC's own music app does not however.

Volume Slider Resets Itself?

Just bought an Xperia Z Tablet and note that the volume seems low.
When I go to the Settings/Sound/Volumes I see the button on the first Volumes selector ie Music video games & other media is about half way across.
I slide it all the way and press OK but when I go back in it has reset itself to the half way marker?
I am using blue tooth headphones while this is happening.
Any ideas why or how to boost the volume?
OK, just plugged in some conventtional headphones and when turning the volume up got the warning message. This didn't appear with the bluetooth headset so the system limited the volume. Once I had set OK in conventional headphone mode it seemed to clear the way for full volume in bluetooth mode. Volume is fine now.

Edit : XBlastTool's working great
try Frinky Music Controller on Google Play
I always wanted to have an app which controls music with volume keys but i could not find any which does it smoothly. So I developed my own . My app Frinky Music Controller on GOOGLE PLAY controls music with volume keys and smartly controls music volume. It supports more 200 music players and Spotify. It works on both rooted and non-rooted phones.
Some features of the app are :
Next Song -- press volume UP key single time to play next song.
Previous Song -- use volume DOWN key to play previous song.
Control Volume -- when we want to control music volume , most of the time we press volume key more than once (next time when you adjust volume , feel it) . So the app uses this tendency of users as a function to control music volume i.e press volume key more than once to adjust volume.
Stop song -- Oh! you play music in your class in absence of professor here comes the professor .... turn off the music quickly by UP+UP+DOWN+DOWN key action (it takes less time than muting the volume and unlocking the screen ).
Sleep Timer : Single sleep timer for all your music apps.
Manually control app's service : well to understand this feature you will have to download the app.
It consumes very less amount of ram.
Sorry I can not post a link here as I am new here.

Media volume beeps on adjustment

Sometimes the phone will beep, even with headphones/headset while adjusting media volume in a music app or youtube. Restarting the phone makes this stop for a while. It's beeping like it normally does when you adjust ringer volume but it happens with media volume sometimes. Once it starts, it wont stop happening with adjustments until restarted. Any ideas whats going on and how to fix this?
EDIT: Android N Stock, latest OTA

volume spikes tp the max on itself...

I have latest Feb update and watching YouTube or other media volume automatically maxes. Annoying as hell
I checked All volume settings all ok
