Innocell 1900mAh Slim Extended Life Battery - HTC EVO 3D

1900 mAh battery that fits with stock battery door.
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi19hev3d.htm

Sure am hoping this does the trick. Maybe I'll be able to make 4 phone calls and send 10 text messages without a charger!

should beable to do that with the stock battery. i did 2 hours worth of phone calls and about a 100 txts today along with streaming pandora for a while and ive got 24% left

50 bucks for a battery? It had better be able to do a lot more than make a call!

So far all aftermarket batteries have been 1000mAh.
Waiting for someone to do a sticker pull on this Seidio 1900mAh and the BestBuy Platinum Series 1900mAh.
Then we'll see.

Well I used the 3500 mah on my EVO 4G and I got 36 hours on light to moderate use (not hammering it with playing games)
Worked really well for me, and I paid $58 shipped for mine.

Well, the guy even tested it, and it came out to almost twice the original battery, at about 2900. That's definitely a plus. Problem is, it only tested at 81% of advertised... If the 1900 comes out to 81%, it'll be 1540 mAh, smaller than the OEM battery.
Hopefully someone grabs it and does a real test to see how it stacks up.

Got a set of Chichitech batteries for my 4G off Amazon a couple months ago: two batteries and a charger for $28.99. They are advertized as 1900 mah. Not sure if they are quite that but they definitely last longer than the stock Evo 4G battery so I was happy for about 14 bucks per battery. This looks too much like "early adopter ripoff" where people charge high fees for being the first out the door.

If anyone gets it and could do a gram weight on the battery. That would be great.

I just ordered the Innocell 4000mAH Exteded Battery off amazom. It was $69. I got tired of my phone dying all the time. Most people won't like this battery because it's makes the phone bulkier.

hopefully these don't turn out to be like the evo 3d ones. i bought the same setup and all the batteries were really 1000ma. if you pulled the sticker up it said 1000ma under it. i could get about 3-4 hours out of one.

2-3 batterys and a charger for around 10-12 bucks. You can't expect to get close to the stock battery for that price. 4 hour emergency batteries for that price is well worth it. Had them for my Epic and already ordered for Photon even though I'm not getting the phone till next week, takes a few weeks to get them.
These will work. The problem is that once they charge they discharge from 100% to 50% normally, then the battery dies. How much do you want to bet that the rated mah is nowhere near 1500. I got suckered in. I might as well keep these for emergencies.

Just noticed that I never reported back on that first post. Well the batteries are good enough in a pinch but they certainly drain much faster. I just might try the one that wagonattack just posted.
Only wish I could find a good battery charger for these batteries.
TS
I got some of the ones from Newegg. It is actually sold by a "marketplace" vendor, so not newegg itself- shipped from California, USPS was the only option.
The batteries themselves are almost exact replicas of the original battery so the fit is great. They are flat black on one side and the label on another- so there's no mistaking it for the original. I have a few dud batteries for my HD2 that look exactly like originals so it's annoying if i put one of them in and forget to bring an extra.
The rating is 1700mAh @ 3.7v versus the HF5X's 1650+ @ 3.8- it ends up being pretty much the same number of Watt/Hours. I'll be able to see this weekend if the same on paper equates the same in real life as far as runtime goes.
After a trip this weekend and some normal usage the past few days, the newegg batteries are definitely as good as the original battery. It's definitely not a one or two hour battery, all day usage from 9-5 with over 60% left, similar to the normal battery.
Again- the only annoying thing is that they don't come with an external charger... but oh well.

*Seidio extended battery*

So i went to bestbuy today to see if i could find a case for my shiny new white amaze, and although i didnt find a case, i did get a seidio 1900 mah extended battery for the evo 3d... although its for the evo 3d, it fits perfectly inside the Amaze... and its the same thickness as well so it doesn't interfere or alter the way the backplate fits, i have'nt used it for a full day yet, but will report back with how much better/worse the battery life is with the seidio after i calibrate it/use it for a few days... for those of you who want the battery and go to bestbuy to grab one, ask the associate for the "Pt spare battery" for the Evo 3d, as it doesn't say seidio anywhere on the packaging for some reason, but it does say it on the back of the battery... it looks cool too..

How about compared with the OE battery though? I ask because each user's experiences varies, so I'm curious as to - holding all else constant - what the difference between the OE and Sedio are. Thanks!
dont really know, i havent used the OE battery for more than 3 hours on the first day before i switched to this... but what i can say is the OE battery was draining so rapidly that it pushed me to call my wife and tell her to bring one home with her, and since that point ive been extremely happy with its performance....

Wow $50 bucks for a battery... I use my anker from my sensation and i only paid $ 20 bucks for 2 and also came with a charging station... I've been getting about 22 hours with moderate use on the phone and I have bluetooth on and sync on all day and night. the Original battery i would get about 12 hours of use. btw 3.7v vs 3.8 does not hurt the phone or it's performance

I don't know how you able to get that Good battery life. I hardly got half day via stock battery. Maybe i use a lot.
On Seidio i get close to 11 hrs on heavy use and on moderate use i came close to 18 hrs.

Is This Cheap Battery Any Good?

Hey,
I was trawling the internet for some cheap extended batteries. (my only other experience with them was the official HTC one for the HD2).
I heard someone saying that there is a good 3500mah one going on Amazon for £11. I'm presuming he meant this as it is the first result: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ecell-3500M...A9ZW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333452409&sr=8-1
After a quick search on ebay I found the same battery for £5.99! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3500mah-H...ltDomain_3&hash=item256aa12a8e#ht_2235wt_1024
But is it any good? Has anyone had any prior experience with unbranded batteries?
Thanks,
Louis

I got this on amazon and has been doing calibration with the battery monitor widget and its calibrating out to at least 2500mah. One peculiar thing is the first 40% or so drop by very fast, but then from 50-30 percent it last a lot longer, this has been notice by another poster also. the battery door is also decent, first generation soft touch rubber coating type material and not as ugly as the Seidio door

You buy many spare batteries for the amount an original battery costs. One spare battery made in China is about € 2,50.
What the real capacity is doesn't matter, as long it does it job as spare battery, you can always order a second one.
Also would it be better to buy the 3500mah and use that as primary. or buy something like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Qual...ultDomain_3&hash=item43ab4ef97d#ht_2079wt_805
And use it as a secondary battery? Which would provide the best overall battery life?

that is hard to say, because everybody usage pattern is different, but even if its only 2500mah it still comes to 50% more capacity then the stock 1700mah.
Last night charge cycle adjust it to about 2700 mah, I don't think its settle down yet, seem the more charge history the widget collect the more accurate the calibration should be.

Thats true. But, seriously i was not happy with the backup it provides. It was 50% of the oem.
as in for spare this is great. you can also try anker one, its great and cheap.
btw, it was about extended.

I can get 4 of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Qual...ultDomain_3&hash=item43ab4ef97d#ht_2079wt_805 for the same price as the Anker?
Guys dont trust some of these batteries. I bought a few of these similar type batteries cause they were really cheap 2 for $9.99 with charger. This has been discussed to death already. I bought another set of 3x + 1 charger. They didnt last long at all. I peeled the stickers on all of them at they were all had 1000mah stamped on it but the sticker says 1800mah. This has been pointed out here before too. It was a complete waste of time and a hassle trying to get my $ back. Seller didnt bother taking the batteries back. For the total of $20 I spent and headache I couldve just bought and anker or chichitec. Which I did. I bought 2x 1900mah anker + charger for 24.99 a while back and they have been great. Been using them for 10 months now and last slightly longer than stock. I will look for the thread so you guys can do some reading but it did get pretty lengthy. Spend the extra $5 or even $10 and dont go for these cheap batteries.
Here's the thread. Take time to read it and it may be worth your trouble later down the road.

Need GOOD external battery.

Going to be spending a week in the mountains in NC. No power back in the woods. If anyone has personal experience with a GOOD external battery pack I would like some input. I take the kids camping and that's why I have spent so much time trying to get the max battery life from this phone. I can make it 4 days. Not 7 though. Lol needs to be durable of course. And reliable.
Coming from some one working on a project that will make this phone last a month w/o charging I thought you would know the answer to this lol

Lol never had a use for a weeks use before. I seriously doubt it could make it that long regardless of what I did. The most on screen time is going to be about 24 hours. And that is with inside and low light conditions. Gonna be outside so screen would drain it.
I don't have personal experience with it, but this should definitely be worth a try. Make sure you use the correct code.

It's kinda funny that they show the 13000mAh battery for $45, but it's actually $30 on Amazon and has been since around January .
The 15000mAh battery is $40 on Amazon vs their $54 listed price when you click the link and has also been $40 since around January. Not sure why they claim they are on sale today ......... maybe cause it says " Gawker Media may get a commission" in the fine print.
Still a seem to be a good deal though.
$5 Below has 6600 mAh batteries for $5 each. Not sure how good they are. Someone I know has one and says it works well.

The extra sale is with the code they provide, which drops the price even further.

More reading material ........ reviews on battery pack:

There are thousands of these at various prices. Thus the reason I wanted someone with personal experience with one. Reviews on sites can be faked. Bought etc. Lol sad companies would go to that extreme but they do.
Just buy a HAM2 and use it to charge your phone. lol
Lol!

Has anyone bought the special cable required to do that and tried charging other devices? How did it go?

Wife found one that runs on double a batteries. Rechargeable one. Even has solar panel to keep them topped off. Will see how that goes. Supposedly waterproofed.

How many AA batteries are you going to take? If you count on solar, it's going to be cloudy or rain LOL .

Works great! I've used it to recharge coworkers phones and it used maybe 10% off my battery but gave them about 50% enough to get by and took about a half hour. And the charge cable is small and fits in my wallet very handy indeed.

Can't remember if it came with it or I got it separately. I got 2 ham2s and got the Bluetooth speaker with one of them. That tiny charge cable means my phone's basically an external battery (but just for other phones with a micro USB port).

Looks like the hurricane is going further west than I hoped. Trip delayed. Will give me chance to test out the battery pack anyway. Lol.
I borrowed a 6600mAh power bank purchased at 5-Below (haha) and fully charged it, then used it to charge my HAM2 which was at 4%. Power bank crapped out at 77%. Will repeat the experiment within a few days and post back. So much for 6600 mAh, more like 3000 mAh.
How's the solar power bank your wife found? Probably another scam unless you paid a lot for it. Look up reviews on YouTube.
