Kyrillos' rom v6.0 [07/07/11]
Based on XXJPQ
so i would first try it with "I5800XXJPQ". Had the same problem before. Just download the file, find "dlna.apk" inside of it and and push with adb to system/app
i wonder why Kyrilos removes this useful app...
Did anyone try out the app "AllShare" for Kyrillos 6.1? Should i go ahead with XXJPQ?

i just applied this theme --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=952974
did it using adb shell
no errors while copying.
However the only change in the theme is the notification bar... Nothing else has changed... Anybody else have this issue???

1. Flashed XXJPM ROM available at samfirmware.com
2. Rooted by default
3. Installed Busybox
4. Replaced framework-res.apk & twframework-res.apk via ADB shell
I have not done anything else on this ROM yet...

One reason could be your rom is not deodexed that's why it isn't working.. All the themes here have been made for custom roms.. Why don't you instal kyrillos' rom..it has got amazing features...

Yes i haven't deodexed it...
Actually i really do want to install Kyrillos but am prevented to do so by the limitations of my internet connection. The internet admins in college have blocked downloads of files greater than 45mb and on top of that most of the sites like megaupload and rapidshare are blocked, only hotfile is open. So unless you can upload the FW in three parts for me, it is not really an option.
So if i deodex, will the theme work fully?

I just flashed the new simply honey rc1 that eb just uploaded tonight & I seem to be missing polaris office and the sgs 2 apps. I thought I flashed the full version correctly but the kernel says its from june, is that a possible problem?
Well, I did install the polaris-office.apk that was in the thread but it pretty much just force closes.
Any help would be much appreciated!

try reflash, if that doesnt work just extract the apps your want from system/app in the downloaded zip and install them on push them to system/app on the phone
and the kernel's from june because it still the JVP kernel, still works for JVR but there hasnt been a JVR kernel made but i think people are working on 1
edit: just downloaded 5.0rc1 and polaris office isnt in the zip, so he forgot it or chose not to put it in

So I reflashed from recovery after doing a wipe and I still only have 2 pages of apps. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Well, I'll try to just install each of them manually, hopefully polaris works. Thanks again.
Has anybody been able to get polaris working on the RC1? I also took the apk from the 5.0 beta 3 and it still force closes. I also tried to fix permissions after install based on some suggestions on other threads. Any ideas?
Polaris also has a lib file. I'll be posting a small package that includes Polaris and a couple other apps I forgot. Probably by 930 eastern time.

Don't think it will run on something without the samsung framework mate, I tried it with the s3 launcher on my oneX, no luck.

Thanks. Yeah I pulled it from stock and tried to system install it, but if it wasn't a parse error, it was a "app not installed" error. Sucks, I really do like touchwiz' launcher on stock ICS.

Galaxy s3 launcher was succefully ported to all ics devices so for sure it is possible to port the ics launcher to any other rom in the future

Please can u tell me if there is a solution to change/modify to your needs a custom Rom you're about to install on your rooted galaxy s2 ( 9100 ).
For example: I want to install CyanogenMod 10 Nightly build... , it's installed, next i install GAPPS (google apps).
Ok, after reboot everything is ok and working.
Now what i want to do is to replace a default CM(cyanogenmod) apps (SMS, Contact manager/Call manager) by those which were included in JB 4.1.2 (leaked version).
Is there any way to achieve it ?

Nope, i watched Chameleon ROM Hybrid on youtube but you can see that he is using old sms app (green with smiley), instead of what i'am searching for (Messaging with orange/yellow envelope).
But what i mentioned is that he have TouchWiz launcher (Desktop), where u can create folders etc.. How can i port it to fresh installed CM10 ROM?

I was using the stock launcher and this mod installed right on top of it. So my stock launcher started to look like the modded. But nonetheless i figured that I could uninstall using playstore. Its done now. Thanks for replying though!

Hey guys! This is an unported version so it might not run on any devices running android 9.0, ill download the apk and tweak it to make sure it runs smooth on android 7+
