Hi All,
Today in my country (Poland) Google started Google Maps Navigation.
On my Arc I have installed Google Maps 5.7. Maps working very well. When statring Google Maps Navigation all is OK, but when I choose destination it everytime crash. My Arc is rooted, have locked bootloader (but is SIMlock free) and is 2.3.3.
I have tried restarat phone, install and uninstall Google Maps updates. After that remove Google Maps using Titanium Backup and install fresh copy from market. No one from that solved my problem.
What I should try?
I know the best is back my phone to factory condition and then try Navigation but after that I will lost root.
Any idea?
P.S. On my wife Xperia X10 mini, and my son Nexus One Google Navigation working OK!?!
did you try to wipe your cache and data from maps?
settings>applications>manage applications (free translated from dutch so forgive when not all correct)
Dunno if it could really help, but did you clean dalvik cache too? (with titanium backup)
did you try to start navigation with gps already on?

Yes, I deleted cache. I even cleared Dalvic cache, no changes. After that cleared all user data. Still problem.
Last night I back to factory settings and now all is working
To "czerwus": Mój też pochodzi Ery Dzisiaj wypróbowałem na trasie Gdynia->Wejherowo i działa bardzo fajnie. Szkoda tylko, że nie ma trybu nocnego. Nie wiem też jak wyszukać np.stację benzynową wzdłuż trasy, którą się jedzie.
to bad you had to go to factory settings to fix it, but glad it worked out for you.

Firstly when I open the google navigation it says that it is nor available in my country i.e India.......... But from somewhere I downloaded the google maps with worldwide navigation pre activated but when open it, it simply crashes.........

google maps.... have navigation enabled only in u.s.a and neighbours.
this is a modded google maps 5.2.1 app that would enable navigation WORLDWIDE including INDIA . and thus you wont need any other navigation app.
and undoubtedly google maps are the best maps available for android ,iphone, windows etc.
as google maps have already updated to offline maps support...
i have personally tried the mod in india and works very well...
other modded gmaps are older versions but this one is new..
INSTRUCTIONS:
download and extract the .apk
1. install titanium backup.
2. in titanium backup, go to apps and wipe data for maps(i.e official maps).
the mod wont work if data is not wiped..
3. after wiping data, you can also clear cache. so that nothing of original maps is there..
4. now uninstall the maps using titanium backup .
5. you may perform a reboot (though worked for me without reboot).
6. now install the moded maps.
7. again you may try reboot if not working (worked for me without reboot)
and you are done....

hmm, have any version of google earth, that could be installed on galaxy3?
tried many version, and still says: application not installed.

google earth comes with google maps, no need of seperate install.
just go to layers and check sattelite view...

It's the wikipedia of maps. Everyone can edit and add ways etc:

I live in Brazil, have the google maps from the market and navigation have always worked very well

I'm getting application not installed problem too. I'm using the JPM ROM. If I install it through ADB it gives me [INSTALL_FAILED_SHARED_USER_INCOMPATIBLE]
I removed data + cahce of old maps and then uninstalled with abslute system root..
This'd be awesome if it worked, any workaround for this?

So this most likely is a problem related with JPM.
I also cannot push anything to /system/app, even after remounting (I get a 'permission denied').
Thanks for the file though. Now I only need to wait for always root kernel for this rom

It is because the adb in JPM is locked... You cave to unlock it or put a custom kernel

well i dont know but in india and many other countries it doesnt work...
well you have to follow instructions carefully....
coz if a bit of info of official gmaps is there, it shows install failed.
you may try reboot after uninstalling data and cache and the maps apk

i removed google maps with titanium backup, and now i can install google maps from market, it shows, that my phone incompactible with google maps... where i can find google maps for my arc? My phone unlocked, rooted, custom doomlords kernel.
EDIT: i downloaded google maps 5.8 from mobileplanet, and copied it to system/aps, then set permisions rw-r-r and rebooted. Vuolia, google maps is here and working
But - how to install street view, i don't know I isntaled stretview, but it dont appear in my program drawer...
i have uninstalled orignal maps via titanium back up so i could install the modded one with navigation unlocked then restored data using TB. then suddenly titanium back up started crashing and now i cant reinstall it coz it says memory full or something like that when i have loads of memory.
well question now is that i download offline maps bt whenever i restart my phone and run maps it says network connection required and then says updated to latest version etc and my offline maps history etc everything is deleted/gone. how to fix it ?

i have a problem with Android 4.2 (i use MIUI 3.10.11 with a Xiaocai X9, by the way).
Google Maps and any other App using Location services only seems to work with GPS. Location isn't recognized via wlan / 3g.
I alredy upgraded to the newest Play Store 4.4.2.2.
I reinstalled Google Play Services (4.0.34).
I extracted NetworkLocation.apk from Minimalistic GApps 4.3 (http://d-h.st/mBO) and copied it to /system/apps
And yes, i rebooted after every change.
But still no luck.
However, apps like "Antennas" work pretty well and are recognizing my location via LBS.
Any ideas?

Well I got the same OTA Update yesterday and got those errors too. I managed to get working play store via google installer 2.0 (LINK http://www.teamandroid.com/2017/06/21/download-google-installer-v2/).
After all services got installed make a restart. After that u should be able to login to google account. Atm its working for me with no force close of play services but I could not say if its stable for daily use.
Edit: Well atm I got problems with Hangouts and Gmail. But after installing latest Google Services manualy and a restart everything looks like it work normaly.
Btw: If something is not working have a look into the permissions of each apps.

i can download app through google store. But the notice "google services has stopped" keep popping up every few minutes. phone gets hot and battery drains very fast.

yes, I have the same problem from yesterday onwards after updation. I have formatted my phone. and after that tried with google installed 2.0 and 3.0 as well... no use...showing google service stopped. or can not contact google server

Would you know how to do it? I tried to go back to the factory settings but the eui version is still 5.9.028S_12081. Is there a possibility to go back to a previous version? Maybe it's the only solution to use google apps.
Play Store and Play Services problem after OTA upgrade
Hi.
I'm italian too and I've the same problem.
I wrote to LeEco support but I'm still waiting for a reply.
I tryed many solutions found in the web and many releases of Google Play Store and Google Play Services, without valid solutions.
I suppose we have to wait for a new OTA upgrade to solve the problem.

hi i have back to s26 just put the zip file and name it update go to file manager click on it chose update
after it finished you will need to reset your phone
by the way some people in the web suggested to install twrp recovery and after install google play from le store and after update play store manually and after play services
i dont have time to tray this hope that if some one do it and test it and tell us
I update to 5.9.028S_12081 from stock 23S using update.zip. I also had problems with google services and apps - they stopped frequently.
For me help wipe phone in twrp and clean installation 5.9.028S_12081 . Then I flash through TWRP Open Gapps - arm64, android6, pico.
After restart, google services and apps works without problems.
I only lost Leeco accout - seller bind account to my phone and I do not have a password :/ I use this guide for first start https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/how-to/tutorial-how-to-skip-unbid-leeco-account-t3657898
Then i rename files to original names. All works, i only can not sign in to my Leeco accout - I do not know old password for unbind old account.
Solved (by now)
Downgrade to 5.9.023s and block automatic upgrade.
Google apps versions after manually updates:
Play Store: 8.3.73.U-all [0] [FP] 173262113
Play Services: 11.9.51 (440-177350961) [manually updated]
Services Framework: 6.0-2302772
Play Games (Play Giochi): 5.4.39 (178940931.178940931-040) [manually updated]

Ho riscontrato problemi con le varie ROM italiane anche se basate sulla versione 028s ufficiale cosi come con la 026s ufficiale di LeEco.
Per ora usando la 023s ufficiale tutto sembra funzionare.

Can you please explain how you reinstalled the Google Services manually? Did you uninstall Google Services and then reinstall them? Or is there a link in the Google Installer 2.0 to install them?

Well I used the apk from apkmirror. Just install the apk and restart phone. After that i got gmail to work correct.

I installed pay service from the link. I can open gmail. But I cannot add Google account. Play store stuck at getting into screen. Any idea?
After Gapps and reinstall all Google Apps from Playstore. All fine again and perfect. Big Thx..

you got from non-official software....
official LeEco never does update ....they virtually dead.
official LeEco firmware never build in with Google things

Hmm well I have no Idea. I could login to google after I installed everything via Google Installer_2.0 and restart. I was able to login to my google account. After I got crashes with gmail I installed the latest Playservices via my link and restart again. Thats it for me.
Sorry if its not working on ur phone. I have no idea what I did different to ur way.

what version you were on prior to getting the OTA ?
x820 or x828 ?
I flashed to whatever version and checked the update and get "you are up to date"
