See if you can figure something out for me m8 :] thanks in advance

Nothing i can see is obvious, Are you trying to connect to WPA2 connection? Also is this your wireles router?? If so try making it unsecure (no wireless key) Hopefully a dev will see this post and have a gander

I saw other threads in which they flashed a new updated radio ... Is this my case?

Shouldn't hurt to try! just be patient when its flashing...unless it takes over an hour DO NOT turn the phone off untill it boots you back into recovery or Android

Signal keeps dropping when browsing the Market!

Everytime I go into the market place I get a dropped signal and it seems as if it is something that is being triggered automatically. And when I click on something I get a message that says "a network error has occurred. retry or cancel and return to previous screen." This happens for a short period. I click something signal drops, I have to pause and not touch anything and the signal comes back up. This happens twice maybe three times before I can use the market without the signal dropping. Has anyone had this happen to them? Should I contact dell on this matter? Or has someone figured out a way to fix this? Thank you.
(Keep in mind, this only happens on a 3G signal and not Wifi.)
It's one of two things: the carrier or Google. It's not Dell because up until the latest update to the Market, the Market worked absolutely fine. I'd ***** at both Google and the carrier. In the meantime, use WiFi to download from the Market, if you can. The network error is virtually eliminated when using WiFi.
I'm having the same problem. Quite anoyying =/

I believe this might be a dell issue. Ever since I got this replacement phone from dell, I've had this issue. My old phone never did this. But what if I call dell and they send me else where like to at&t. At&t is going to tell me that they dont handle this issue because I get a signal for everything else so its not their problem. Google is going to say that if its a signal issue contact your carrier. Lol I can already predict the future. You see how easy it is to predict the future guys lol! I should become a psychic )

Omg!!!!!! I've found someone who has the same issue! Have you made any attempt to get this issue resolved?
Had the same issue plus wifi issues called got a replacement and now it's fine.

So your suggesting taking this matter up with dell?
Same issue
My original streak never did this now my replacement one does, and its annoying maybe I'll call Dell and see what they say.
This is an issue with few of the newer roms.
Happened with 345 and 351 for me.
However fine with streakdroid 1.9
Don't know if it happens with 347.

I'm on 347. And it also does the same thing! Annoying!
streakdroid 1.9, AT&T, same thing
well it's better than market force close problems, and having to agree to terms and conditions every time i open the app, ( the past 2 issues i was having).
i just wait for the signal and press retry.
318 was affected too
The interesting thing about this is that My old streak was on build 318 and never had a problem but my new one on build 318 did
I never had this problem UNTIL 1.9...now it errors everytimei open market. I usually have to get past probably 5 of the error pop-ups before I can use the market. If there is a fix, I'd sure like to know

Sent from my Dell Streak using XDA Premium App
Omg! Thank god I'm not the only one with this issue.
Replaced
Dell is sending me a replacement streak after they had me try and reset the apns to default and it still didn't work, also the one i have now doesn't let me use data while talking on the phone(just noticed this yesterday). If you bought your Streak from Dell and it is having this issue just call them they will replace it. I've found their support for the Streak to be great(if you bought it from them) it seems they will replace your Streak if you aren't happy with it no matter how minuscule the problem is.

Did you get the replacement? And did it fix the issue? I have the same issue, if I uninstall the market update in applications I don't have any problem, once the update to latest market I lose the data connection.
I was having this issue the other day as well on 351. After that it changed to unsuccessful download for anything from the market but amazon app store and internet worked fine. Did a factory reset and its all back to normal now. Not sure what messed it up the factory reset cleared it for me. Working great again on 351.
I take it back. Factory reset only fixed it temporarily Issue is back today. Sent a message to AmyatDell to pass the issue along.
So people are now seeing this issue on 351, 318 and streakdroid 1.9? If thats the case it might not be a Dell issue but more a At&T or Google issue.
I dug a little deeper into this and pulled the logs from logcat when opening and connecting to the market. What it looks like is happening to me, being on AT&T, is that it is disconnecting me from the default ATT US apn and reconnecting me to the ATT MMS apn to use the market. The network error or loss of data connectivity is due to the time it takes for one apn to disconnect and the second to connect and get active. You can look at the logs yourself and see. I encourage everyone else to try this on theirs and see what they find.

To get the logs for those that don't know how (I used ddms for the Gui, you can use straight adb if you know the commands). Download the Android SDK. open your command prompt or terminal window to the tools folder in the extracted adk archive. Run the DDMS app. it should fire up and start showing the logs of your connected streak (in USB debugging mode). I cleared the log just before running the market (after marking sure it was not running in the background) and once it went through its disconnect/reconnect bit I highlighted everything and saved the log to a txt file.
Anyone having this issue on a provider other than ATT?

Strange logcat

Hi all,
I post this log here, because it coold be common with all roms, and i hope to debug this roms (htc photon).
I'm in interest about android for hd mini.
I tested the R175 and my battery is going empty in about 1-2hours.
however, i see a strange logcat:
Code:

Any idea ?
I think this could help to kill battery drain issue.

[Q][A] Sense ROMs won't connect to 5Ghz wireless

Title says it all. I cannot connect to my 5Ghz wireless-n network with any Sense based ROM. As soon as I which to AOSP based ROMs it connects just fine. I have tried changing the channel number and disabling security without any success. It's not a show stopper since I can use the 2.4Ghz band, but I'm peeved that I can't figure it out. Here's a snippet from logcat while I was trying to connect. The 5Ghz network is Osceola.
Code:

Solution:
I had to switch my router to NA-Mixed or Mixed mode instead of N-Only for the 5Ghz radio. The reported speed of the connection is 12Mbps, which is Wireless-A speed, but when I did a speed test I was able to max out my external connection of 30Mbps. I have no idea why Cyanogenmod ROMs work in N-Only mode and Sense ROMs do not. So basically, Sense is a mess when it comes to wireless.
Bump to show I found solution.

Frequently no connection - signal bar ok

Hi!
I have Sony XPERIA sola. This is my problem which occurs frequently:
Phone lost connection to internet and network. All looks fine because there is signal strength good and carrier name. Internet doesn't work. When I want to call it is silence for about 10 seconds and says "Call has ended"(looks like I pressed end call button). When someone call me he hear that my phone is shut down. Signal strength meter is working good. When I go to basement it reduces one line from signal bar so it is working properly.
Problem starts suddenly. All looks fine until you want to make call or open page in browser. This problem last 5-15 minutes. I can wait few minutes to internet and network connection back or reboot phone. Rebooting phone makes internet working properly.
Problem started over year ago. Initially it was occuring occasionally, one time per week. Now it can occur even several times in a hour
What is important: when
I tried systems:
Official: 2.3.7; 4.0.4
Unofficial: 4.1.2; 4.4.4; 5.1.1
Problem is on all systems. This problem was occuring even before I unlocked bootloader. I flashed unofficial systems because of this problem.
I attach screens did on 4.1.2.
What is important: I set pings interval to 10s because Internet never stops when I am constantly downloading something.
For example: I can download 1GB file without problems but when I enter on xda forum and read first page of thread it is high probability that I will not be able to load second page.
On first screen you can see when connection stopped. You see that signal bar is ok. It even says that I am uploading data(sending packet for ping measure).
On second screen you can see that after 9 minutes problem gone out.
On 3-4 screens you can see another situation but this time it was 3 minutes without connection.
Can you direct me to causation of this trouble? Or are you able to help me to solve it?
Thank you in advance!
On Android 5.1.1 I did a logcat which is attached.
