Hi all,
I'm just testing this ROM again and I found one problem (despite the fact that it's a gorgeous ROM) and that's the SE launcher. The stock launcher with it has the corners which I'm not a fan of (it's too small as screen). If I try to remove that launcher an put in any other SE launcher e.g. my favourite, the Arc, it works UNTIL you reboot/backup/flash the phone. When you come back to the main screen it says com.sonyericsson.something has crashed.
The only way around is either using the stock launcher or installing a non-SE launcher, which I've done until I can figure it out.
Anyone know what to do? As I say my aim is to use the Arc launcher which works on any other Gingerbread ROM I use, except this one.

are there any full xperia ports for the desire ? using arcygen which is half oxygen and xperia arc feels not full enough for my liking.
what is infinity view ? is it se's contact app ? i have it in the arcygen rom but it force closes when i click on it in timescape or the timescape widget it says infinity view force close .. what components do i need to make it work ?
what other se apps /widgets are there in the se arc rom ?( i know se is closer to stock android in comparison to sense ui)
1. i want to make it feel more up to scratch
2.i think this rom should look the part and oxygen elements shouldn't be present
i i upgraded today my arc into ICS and im looking for the xperia S apps for ARC like the widgets, the music player and so but for the ICS version.
is it even available?
also can you guys give me the original home.apk of ICS because i like it more then sony's one.

Stock ICS Launcher
There are a few versions of the Stock ICS Launcher available on the Play Store/Market for download
I believe "Apex Launcher" may be something you want, or "Nova Launcher" do a search for both or either
For a comparison - Google "Apex vs Nova Launcher" and click the first link
Alternatively, you can get the Trebuchet, the stock ICS Launcher from CyanogenMod 9, I have attached the zip file that you should flash with Clockwork Recovery, I think Trebuchet is the fastest, but I just use stock Sony Ericsson Home and so haven't really looked into it
*BARE THIS IN MIND*
When using any launcher other than Sony Ericsson Stock, certain widgets will become unavailable, such as the music widget and the Timescape addon, as well as maybe other things - this is what stops me from switching from stock home

For Xperia S apps and widgets, take a look at this thread, it says Arconium v7 but it's likely to work on any stock based roms - I personally cannot guarantee this although you should be fine

It would be nice, given that you can make good speedy roms, if you could make a final version of miui for GB. The versions out there are abandoned and left with bugs which are fixed by now, since what most people complain about in gb is the graphic UI a good miui rom would be the bomb..
There's plenty of ics roms and jb ones still have major bugs, and tbh gb is not that outdated for our devices...
Maybe you could add serajr's Xperia GX Home Launcher? :cyclops:

Really glad to hear that. I have tried almost all the roms our there. My request is please don't add any launcher like u added on ur unlimited rom. Kind;y please make it with original system UI and icons of ICS or JB. and with rom control obviously thanks in advance

I would love to have the following..
Option for sound mod and launcher in Aroma. Reason for the launcher option is that from example I'm using Nova launcher, and when I run a rom with modded launchers, I keep getting forced closes on the home launcher. Which means I need to freeze it. Would be great not to have to do that.
Supercharged and patched with the LED fix. Add Geeky engine, if it doesn't conflict with supercharger?

I think u should mod it to look like JB ... with option to flash Google Now in aroma as well... cz I've seen soooo many ICS based ROMs that look like JB including font and animation and notification panel style etc for arc S...but we don't have any here... so I think that would make your ROM unique!

Would be pretty good if you can try making one JB ROM
this will be rom with looks of new xperia devices and smooth as my unlimited rom
i would work on jelly bean but i cant use jelly bean since i have locked bootloader :/

perhaps some sound mod

Hi, i search a cool rom cmod, smooth and fast without Sony laucher and apps, just gapps like on my old Nexus s.
