How do you put a shortcut to a QuickOffice document on your Home Screen/Desktop?

You can remap key (below volume control keys in Startrek) using following files in \Windows
Short_POC.lnk is to activate voice commander with a short press.
I have used Microsoft Voice commander 1.6 SP. I didn't like long press for calling.
Long_POC.lnk is to toggle Bluetooth on/off with a long press.
I have used BlindLemon BlueTooth Toggler.
Thanks mvsaka. The Short_POC has helped enormously. I'm interested in the BlindLemon BT toggler. Does your Long_POC link require BlindLemon to be installed in any particular folder?
Can edit .lnk files
If you select storage card while installing it will install in "Storage Card\Program Files\BlindLemon\BTToggle.exe". It also puts a shortcut in Start\accessories folder.
You can also edit these files using notepad and change the location as required.
btw, i had searched star's keyboard driver and found these shortcuts that you can use as shortcuts to any apps:

Hi was wondering if it was possible to create a shortcut from a programme i have on my memory card and place it on one of the home screen tabs?

using file manager, press and hold the program file,choose copy, browse to windows/start menu/programs press menu, edit, paste shortcut.
now it will show when you assign an empty quicklink.

When using the alternate SystemUI file to make the n button function as a home button, how do you then get to those items on the default B&N quick select menu? Things like B&N store, web browser, library, etc. Is there an easy way to make these same items appear as links on the home screen itself? I have the app manager tweak, so I know how to put side loaded apps there. Just haven't been able to figure out how to put the default B&N apps there.

create a shortcut to the Nook Home I used anycut. I also used that app for the development menu and a few other hidden menus. or try a long press on the home screen and from there you shopuld get a window to app apps, shortcuts, or widgets to the home screen. Hope this helps.

How can i put documents on my homescreen.
You could try Astro file manager app. After installation it adds an Astro shortcut which you can use to add a shortcut to a file on your home screen.
Which application shows the documents? You may find this app will allow you to create a shortcut directly from within it.
i.e. Documents created with Evernote you simply press & Hold and then select Send To and create a Shortcut on your Home Screen.
Could someone make a shortcut to a file or folder to the home screen? I couldn't find any way to do that
