Which recovery is that youre using?

it says its 3.0 recovery and the .zip is signed diferently something like that. lol

i suggest you use the font changer app from the market.. when i tried to flash a font pack it didnt take.. most likely do to different file structure.. so unless u know how to change the path the zip installs to use font changer...
like someone said above it will hang when it says its rebooting just pull battery and all is well... currently using darkstar coconut font

13 downloads ..guys! lol

do you know the font name from the stock evo3d? rom i flashed is sweet but font new font isn't as clear as stock. thanks, sorry if hijacking.

Fonts for the Atrix

Changing fonts on the Galaxy S was very easy via the phones' own settings. How can you add/user new fonts on the Atrix?
thanks
Rafa
Nobody...?...I thought this was going to be an easy one....
What I did was pulled the fonts I liked that I ripped from UOT Kitchen and created a CWM flash-able zip for the font. I'm using Comfortaa now on the atrix.

Not that I've seen so far. Flashing a zip is a piece of cake though.

Thanks for that link, and googling for me.
If I were to use one of those fonts, would there be a way to get back to the stock font? If I were to flash another theme, would it automatically load the stock font?

A nandroid backup should do the trick, but maybe you don't want to re-backup everything... I wonder if there is a TiBu system setting that contains the fonts that you could backup and restore data later?

Of course. DroidSans is the default font. Just download it from that link with the 300 flashable zips and flash it if you want to go back to stock.

This would be overkill It would work fine, but would be overkill. Just download DroidSans and flash that if you want to go back to stock.
Well another way, is to use Root Explorer or something similar and replace the fonts manually through there. Its not that hard and you could also back them up like that. Just have to make sure permissions are correct.

[SOLVED] Flashable Font Packs - Won't Install
Took me a while today to get it down, but works great!
BTW you can't flash with CWM. I tried every possibility on Atrix today with Tenfars. My guide does however work.

Well, it seems those CWM packages aren't compatible with the Atrix.
However I created my own package, and I successfully changed my font to Choco Cooky.
ChocoCooky CWM.
Here you can see how the font looks like.
Also I made one with the stock fonts, just in case:
Stock Fonts CWM.
If you don't like Choco Cooky, just download one pack from this thread, extract it, and replace the fonts in my CWM package with the ones you like.
Have fun ^^.
<edit> Edited to be nice! Please next time read my full post and see that I already said those font packs will not work with Tenfars CWM. Also, it's not the font packs which are not compatible with the Atrix, it's Tenfars CWM which is not compatible with the font packs. My instructions after much trial and error state to extract the font files from the font pack zips.

You're wrong. I changed my fonts through Tenfar's CWM. You're the one who should fully read the posts. Just flash one of my CWM updates and you'll see they work perfectly fine.
Maybe you didn't properly edit the CWM updates.
Think about it, if we can flash themes through CWM why we wouldn't be able to do the same with fonts?.
And to clarify a bit more, I said anyone can use one of my CWM updates as a template to flash any font they like just by replacing the fonts inside them.
I don't know why you got upset (I read your last post before you edited it). Maybe because I successfully created a CWM update to do this, and you didn't?.
Try the Choco Cooky one, and you'll see it works perfectly fine. Then you can flash any font you want through CWM.
Also, while your method might work for you, its a pain. CWM is allways cleaner, quicker and easier.

My source is the Android 4.0 SDK via XDA forums. Im sure you can find the font on almost any Android website/blog/forum, their source will prob be the same (SDK). Anyways since Google developed this font for Android, they should be the ones to get the credit, not the sites you mentioned.

Thanks for the tip
Installed yesterday with Font Installer. It's actually a very crisp font considering how rounded it is. It's like a skinnier stock font.
How do you install this?

Black Stock keyboard

I got tired of seeing the white and grey keyboard and didnt wanna use the Gingerbread keyboard cause of the small buttons. So I themed the stock one a little bit. Thought I would share it with the community.
Using root explorer, copy to /system/app. Change permissions to rw-r-r, reboot to xrecovery, clear cache and dalvik cache, Reboot, Enjoy
[EDIT]
added odexed version - not a flashable zip. Use same method from above
oh nice! saves me doing it i was just about to start doing my own one lol!
Something i didn't know how much i need it! thank you man
I followed your instructions but it keeps force-closing every second.
I'm on MiniCM, anyone experiencing this?
Change the name of it to the name of your keyboard before you move it and it will over write.
(NOTE)
Not all roms have the same name for the keyboard

Edit: don't have to rename the textinput-tng to the existing keyboard since the package name is different anyway... (?)
Oh he is using an odexed rom. I dont why I didnt think of that. Ok I will odex this apk and post it as well for anyone using odexed ROMs.

Well most phones already have the stock Eclair keyboard or GIngerbread keyboard. My rom is Gingerbread 2.3.7. So I know this will work if anyone already has either keyboard in their ROM. Ive swapped around to all three keyboards. All worked. and I know the icons are hdpi. They look a lot better on my phone then mdpi. And they get resized by android anyways. I left the characters bigger so they can be seen better. Only notice two characters that hang over a litte bit. Neither causes any issues though. BUT, I guess I could change the icons to mdpi and resize the characters if anyone wants it done.
Thanks for the feedback

Can you make some glasses? I mean transparent 75% maybe.
I will definitely try. I been thinking about a transparent one for a few days now. Cant find icons for it. So I will have to make or convert some. Might take me a day or so but I will get it done
Ive installed this keyboard. But the black theme only works in portrait. Why is it? Thanks.
