is thier anyone that have the same essue as me, that facebook forces to close even before it opens with Ginger DX?
This is my first comment I couldnt send it in the Ginger Dx thread!
Mine is working fine since v001, try to full wipe and test it again.

I had that problem with v003 but i just uninstalled and reinstalled hoping it would work and it did. All my facebook contacts disappeared as wellbut ater reinstall and login they were restored

i have the same problem with facebook i use GingerDX v003
I had the same issue. Reinstall GingerDX and it will fix the problem. If it doesn't send report to author, but it should work after reinstalling the rom.
I have no problems with Facebook and GingerDX. Works fine.

Hi,
I had problem with facebook app that didnt want to start. Now after full wipe that problem is solved. Now I try to open Navigon but it wont start! just the same problem like the fb app. Is that a bug in this version to work on or is it something else I have to do?

I just passed to v005 and it is just fine with everything...
fine with me though...
Confirmed working on GingerDX v005 and v006. I simply installed the FB app from the market and that was all.
Use Facebook Ver 1.60. Its work for me
plss try a full wipe to ur phone..mine is just working fine..
works fine, GDX 008.
notifications also work fine, i've installed the app on phone memory
If the facebook app crashes, use this from ADB or Terminal Emulator
rm -r /data/com.katana.facebook
alternatively just clear facebook's data.

Navigon doesn't work with any cm7. I've tried all roms. Can anyone confirm IT?

I initially had problems with the facebook app. After a full wipe the issues were resolved on GingerDX 0.13. As for Navigon that doesn't work for me either (Using CoPilot that works, Sygic doesn't work btw), but shouldn't you have your own thread for that question?
But you could try Friendcaster or FBabble.

Hi! I got recently problem with my Android Market. I'm not quite sure what's the problem, but I think because I removed the important system applications. You know google's apps. The problem is that when I want to download an app from the market, it just stands on beginning to download the app, it never goes further....
How should i fix this?
Please help me.

Can you try to delete the market app from /system/app back it up to sd card
And then place it back and reboot

I can test, but I don't think it will work..
Go to settings - manage applications and scroll down to market (impt: only market app and not the other market related apps) and then uninstall updates. And then download the apps u want.

yes, I have had issues as well. No "downloads" were showing...
downloaded one app and now they are back.
could have been a Market server issue as well, but was screwed up for 2 days.
btw: the uninstall updates trick does work in most cases when Market is acting up

Hi this issue is affecting a lot of android users of all makes including the new blade/sanfranciso. DONT PANIC resetting will not fix this is a market issue i have contacted google by phone and will recieve a call from them which i will then update you all on asap you can follow me on @jayfromcornwall on twitter, dont mess with your phones or reflash you will be wasting your time just sit tight until i get the info back !! kindest regards to all from jay

I had this problem from last thus till yesterday. Was so p'd off I uninstalled the markets app. I'd recently updated and after uninstall the app was still there but as the previous version, it's working fine now. So I think it's something to do with the updates.

I have the same problem in Norway, some apps will and some apps just won't install or download. Have tried to reset factory settings and deleted app, in fact some new apps newer installed won't install to..

i did a restore of some of my apps and data but when i look at the market it only shows youtube and google maps as my installed apps is there a fix or is this a known issue?
I had this problem too. Some say just download apps and uninstall them plus maby a reboot, your apps will come back eventually. Dont worry about it.
I also installed the new update to the Market from the apk and that made my apps show up.
The new leaked Market update is causing data connection loss for lots of people. Works fine on WiFi, but on 3G/4G you lose data as soon as you start it. Most people have, like me, reverted to the old version until it is fixed.
Well I had the leaked one on gingerblur and all was fine but no big deal

yeah clearing the data in the market worked
i got facebook app problem on LG UI 3.0 V2 for X10 rom.....cant use facebook app..
If you have restored from titanium delete it and try to install from the market
I don't use titanium back up....actually i dont have problem to install app...the problem is went i want to use it its stuck on loading....in other cm7 rom i got no problem on that app....sorry im not good in english

Use Firefox browser, and to delete home screens.,pinch to preview screens and now hold and drag screen.

I have Longhorn 2.9.1 installed and it works perfect except some of the changes in the system setings aren't saving properly unless I do a restart and with a 3-5 min loading time, it's frustrating.
For example, I needed earlier to use GPS and I couldn't activate it until I restarted the phone.
I already done a data wipe and a factory reset but this problem with the system setings persists.
Another example was with turning on/off 3G and WiFi. I experienced the same issue even with turning on different services, like juice defender.

with froyo I was running skype 2.0.0.47 from this guy. Maybe it will work with the older longhorn?

I have just installed Longhorn 2.9.1 version and my phone is showing boot screen i.e. XBOX 360 from past 20 mins can you please help me.
Is it normal or should i try something else..

try longhorn 2.7 first and then wipe data/factory reset , wipe dalvik cache and do dell factory default too...
if it manages to go into lockscreen... you can then try to flash longhorn 2.9 ....

Tried it and it keeps telling me "You cannot be signed in at this time. Please try again later". This happens no matter how many times I try to log in. Tried it with WIFi and 3G and still nothing

Guys, me again - is there any way to have working calendar app on CM 9 without flashing gapps, without making google profiles?
Please help -- i dont want gapps, i use Calendar a lot, but now i cant. It asks for profile but may be without syncs it cant work.
your calendar is tied to your gmail so no , unless you search the play store for one not synced with google

Push to system/apps (someone correct me if I'm wrong here), set to rw-w-w using root explorer.

Last time i flashed some sort of slim gapps my phone went crazy. I do not want them if they work that way, is there any other way to have Calendar if i have Calendar Provider.
