[MOD][11/19/11] Accurate Battery for [Superclearn EH03] [PWGB EH09] [GWZ IE20] & More - Fascinate Android Development

[MOD][11/19/11] Accurate Battery for [Superclearn EH03] [PWGB EH09] [GWZ IE20] & More
I took the time to put these 2 Accurate Battery Mods for myself and I'm sharing for everyone as well. I take no credit except for putting them together from previous/existing versions. Be sure to pick the correct version...
Please download the right version to your phone's SDCard and flash with CWM. Verify the .zip was downloaded correctly by opening/viewing them with a file manager. I tested them myself, so shouldn't have any problems. These mods only work on the STOCK versions, they will break if you have an existing theme or mod.
PWGB (EH09) and Superclean EH03 already comes with a vertical accurate battery, but I like the enhanced horizontal one much better.
Also, if you don't like the look, you can head to the UOT Kitchen http://uot.dakra.lt and upload the framework-res.apk and change it to whatever you want.
I've included the originals too, in case you'd like to revert back.
Well, enjoy!

No, sorry.. I haven't quite figured out how to create a CWM flashable .zip yet
But maybe when I have more time, I will give it a try,,,

Thanks for this. I might test this out later on ED05.

Thanks for your work!
What about using rootexplorer instead of abd? I've tried a couple times without success, causes boot loops. I'm going to try one other way... I only ask, because I can't load abd on my work computer. No biggie, just thought I would ask.

Could any one make a flashable version of this? I tried the root explorer way with only boot loops as well. Thanks

It would be nice if someone could make these files into a zip we can flash by CWM. I don't know how, but I'm sure one of the great minds out there can. Thanks in advance.

Do you need to be deodexed for the ed05 one to work? I just flashed it and I still have the stock battery. I'm on rooted stock ed05 right now.

Nope, no deodexed version needed.. stock ED05 is fine.
However, if you have a themed ED05, this will break your theme..
So.. only on stock ED05!

I just tried loading it again and this time it took. Weird. Thanks this is awesome!!

Thanks, worked great!

Since the pics aren't there, are they in the style of this one? If so that'd be really cool. This style is very clean. Reminds me of Honeycomb in a way.

you dont even have to flash the zip....just make a copy of your current framework to your pc, find what the zip is going to replace, and do it yourself. it works great. then use rootexplorer to put it back to where it needs to go, then restart

I don't have the stock ones; check the Development section, you can always download a stock deodexed ROM and pull the lockscreen stuff from it.

I've been struggling with getting Metamorph to work. Got it installed, v.1.9.8.14. It asks to start checks first, then I get "Some files could not be extracted and setup. Please make sure you have enough free space in /system"
I checked my /system partition and I have 34MB free. I figure 20 should be enough. Been searching for someone else with this problem and I can't find it. Anyone have pointers or a link to a thread that I must've missed?

Downloading now on my replacement phone (this one's with EA28..interesting). I'm just curious, did you add that line of code for the malware exploit(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=978622). If not its just an extra zip to install.
I'll try installing one of JT's kernels to see if the wifi tether will work that way too.
How do I get into clockwork red from orange? Just flash the update.zip file from the root of the sd card?

When I had trouble with Blue Recovery/CWM Green I just odin'd the file from the CWM-ALL thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=942021). Should work the same for you.
Flash the clockwork through odin and all is well flashing your rom now and going to check it out over the weekend. New roms always create excitement.

I was going to try the EB16 Kernels from Adrynalyne's 2.6(2.7) thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=910921
If it doesn't work, I'll just wipe and reflash the rom.
I don't know why either but I also like the TouchWiz, I am using the GTG version with the stock 4 icons on the bottom but with no icon background colors.
I am downloading this ROM now and will try it out. Thank you for posting it for all.
After downloading I noticed it is not deodexed. Is that on purpose?
Great! A new ROM is always exciting. Congrats on the release.
If you are worried about hosting on your dropbox, check out multiupload. It was the hosting service of choice on the Eris forums and works very well. Also, Filevo is a nice option and typically FAST for your users. They could be a nice option to take some of the load off of your Dropbox so you don't get locked out again.
Thank you for the release, it's always nice to have more choices of ROMs.
But I want to find out the differences between this and SC 2.6? Is the the theme?
Thanks!
Is there a voodoo or nonvoodoo kernel with this? I'm running SC 2.6 w/voodoo lagfix. Should I disable voodoo before installing it?

Crazy Black replaces a lot of elements that this theme does not. So you could flash it but parts of Crazy Black will be left over. Like the boot screen and shutdown Screen etc.
Thanks for the quick reply!

How to go back to stock ROM

Is there a way to go back to stock? Or a CWM flashable .zip available anywhere?

What issues were you guys having with Alien? I've seem to not run across any as of yet. It is smooth. So I'm curious.
I was having force close issues, 3g would have problems connecting so I had to reboot often, and the 1% battery increment mod didnt work. I really appreciate everyones hard work with the roms..but I think that I just want to wait...im pretty happy on stock rom for now.

Yeah, I'm not sure why I was having FC issues. I followed everything to a T. Also on another post I had about the Homescreen, I had a FC that made it really messed up looking like:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So that's why I stopped using the ROM and went back to stock. Seriously though, I think the devs out there and themers are doing a great job. I wish I had some time and dedication to learn it myself! Maybe someday...
Yeah. That doesn't look quite right.
