What are your favorite apps to use on your streak? - Streak 5 Themes and Apps

This forum seems pretty dead so lets make it exciting again!! What are your favorite apps to take advantage of the large screen and decent streak performance performance?

I use my Nook mostly for book, news, and magazine reading, web searching and browsing, reference and lookups, quick viewing and editing of notes while on the go, email device, and as an auxiliary PIM (with the phone being the main PIM). Basically the stuff that's better on a larger screen than on a phone-sized screen when it's inconvenient to use the laptop.
My Nexus One mostly serves as my main PIM, alarm clock, task reminder service, portable nav device, time tracker, expense capture device, messenger, voice search device, and general communications device. Oh, and as a phone too.
The two devices fill in for each other in a pinch since most of my data is synced to the cloud.
Apps that get the most use on my NC:
Launcher: Zeam
Web Browser: Dolphin HD
Media Player: Don't use one
Keyboard: Swype

File Browser: Root Explorer

Tools: ClockSync, PrinterShare, Astrid Locale Plug-in, Secure Settings plug-in, Tasker, Synker, IVONA TTS (I'm big into automation)
Other: B&N Nook, Amazon Kindle, OverDrive Media Console, LastPass, Evernote, Dropbox, OfficeSuite Pro, Astrid, JustPictures, Google Calendar, XDA app, WeatherBug Elite, various news and business journal apps, LinkedIn, ezPDF Reader, GMail, Google Reader
My 19-month old son has begun "borrowing" my tablet so he uses a bunch of the OMBooks Dr. Seuss apps, Fruit Ninja, watching the occasional Sesame Street video on YouTube, as well as an app called "Baby Animal Balloons."
I tried using Google Currents for about a week and loved the app but it seemed like it really slowed down my NC and caused a lot of freezing so I uninstalled it.
And finally, I just started working on using Tasker to create a "Toddler Mode" so that when my son is playing with it, he's restricted to only the things I want him to be able to do with it. Hopefully I can find a way to make that work. I use Tasker for a lot of things on my phone and a few things on the NC.
And by the way, I can't even begin to express my appreciation for the CyanogenMod team and all the developers that turned this table into such a great device! The only thing that I can't do with the NC that I wish I could is using voice commands. Otherwise the NC has been a shockingly useful device for me on an everyday basis!

2. gReader Pro. It's a nice RSS reader similar to google's.
3. Beautiful widgets. I actually don't really have a 3rd best app. They all sort of fall into the 3rd place. I probably use beautiful widgets the most though to check the weather every day.

[Q] Thrid party apps

Hello guys,
Can you provide me with good third party apps(mostly free versions) that I can use fora daily basis ? I have just finished creatinga a custom rom for for my Nexus 7(2012-Wifi) and I would like a change from the default google apps. Can you suggest apps for the different categories,
Launcher
Music
Video
Web Browser
epub, pdf, etc reader
Dialer
Camera
My Picks
Launcher - Definitely Nova Launcher
Music - Clean Music
Video - MX Player, VLC Player
Web Browser - Chrome, Dolphin Mini, Opera Mini
epub, pdf - FB Reader, Google Books via their upload to web option you can read any book
Dialer - exDialer
Camera - SnapCamera HD
Google for all links.
These are the best apps so far used by me for the last 3 years of android experience plus they all work great even on a phone with 512 MB of RAM so for other devices the speed will definitely not be an issue.

In-browser streaming...

Hi Folks,
Is there anyway or any browser that lets you stream directly via a stand alone media player like VLC or MX Player?
I've just upgraded to a Oneplus 3 from an older trusty HTC M7 (great phone)... On the HTC I used the Dolphin browser which allowed an add-on called Jetpack, which, to cut a long story short, allowed for a much better in-browser streaming experience. You have the same functionality as you do in a stand alone player - you can can control brightness, volume and fast-forward / rewind - all by gestures.
I was to find out that Jetpack is not supported in Nougat, therefore all in-browser streaming is handled by that player's movie player... which is old school and just gives you a menu bar at the bottom where you can control the usual, sound, video scrolling and full screen.
Ideally it would be great if you could click on a video and open it in MX or VLC and set that as default... But so far I've drawn a blank...
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Just found UC Browser :good:
