Q: Is there an option to display ONLY phone contacts ?
The point is, that i've storred fev numbers on my phone, but after g.sync they did't appear.
So as i thikn, those contacts have been stored on phone not in gmail sync.
I've over 400 contacts, and now i dont remember all of them.
I want to display all phone contacts and change those "Account" type.
Can You help me?

open Contacts.apk click on contacts tab, then press menu button and choose display options, you may have phone contacts hidden.

If you're having an issue with contacts not display when you click on the phonebook.
The solution is:
in phonebook, click the top left button [3 heads] and in the Phone Contact I had an option called "ping chat" check it and the contacts should show up.
Using gmail for work and home, got them setup and email is fine, but all contacts show up as unknown.

can't help with contacts showing up as unknown. I'm having a different problem. My contacts default to using gmail profile images instead of Facebook profile picks when I join contacts.
As for your lockscreen question, if you want total control I recommend widget locker. If all you want to do is change the wall paper, you can do that in setting>display>screen display. There is an option in there for lock screen wallpaper, as well as options for lock screen clock an weather.

You shouldn't have to import. Just signing into your Gmail/Market account should populate them(if you have them saved to Gmail). Also, go into contacts, hit menu, select more, display options and then verify that you have Google contacts selected. Hope this helps.

I would like to add a photo to some of my contacts but i dont now how to do it.I dont now how to copy any contact from my sim card to phone memory so i can add some extra things....
Solution 1: Go to contacts, open a contact, click on the contact icon, you should see an option of adding picture.
Solution 2: go to gallery, open any picture and set it as "contact picture"
Solution 3: Install Full screen caller ID. It will show your contacts, you can select hi-resolution picture and set it.
Hello guys, is it possible to make Sony top contacts widget show only the people in my favorite group. The description of the program say its possible but i can't find such option anywhere . I don't want it to show my recent + my favorites .
you should log in online example using your facebook account to log in, once log in it will take a minute or two to load your recent contacts, then you can manage it, just uncheck the contacts you dont want to load on widget.
just click the settings button on top contact widget then click the contact, there you can set now which contact you want to reflect on your widget.

hey guys,
I travel around a lot and want to hide contacts from my contactlist (if possible hide complete groups there)
It's 103 contacts I don't want to see, when I'm at home, cause many names are the same and i don't want to accidently make a call to friends overseas (just wanna whatsapp with them, therefore I need the numbers)
is that possible?

OK figured it out! It's quite useful. For all the others with the same problem here the solution:
Go to your contacts -> menu -> display options -> costumized list. and deselect the groups you want to hide from ALL synced profiles (if you have e.g. facebook or friendcaster still ticked as OK, contacts will still show up)
however if u go to the group manually they will all show up, just not in the regular contacts. Very nice!
