[Q] How do I install this keyboard? - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was using Trip's ROMs before, and up until a particular version he was using a particular keyboard that I loved a lot. That keyboard looked very much like this and I think it actually is this one.

I got this image from this topic , great ROM, you should check it out. Anyways, how do I install that keyboard instead of the CM7 keyboard I have on my MIUI ROM? (Trip's one, but I imagine changing the keyboard works the same for every ROM.)

Well by the looks of it, that's the LG Optimus 2x keyboard and according to the thread you link it was 'ported' so I'm guessing you might need to download that whole rom and just grab the keyboard apk from the zip.
Or you could go around searching for the LG Optimus 2x keyboard

The 'iphone skin' pre-loaded in smartkeyboardpro is very similar, you may want to give it a try.

Stocks on Touch HD - Possible to Port to TouchPro?

Posted this on the Raphael forum, I guess it would make more sense to put it here since this is where the actual development is being discussed:
Check out this image from the manual for the Touch HD:

Do you think anyone would be able to get this tab on the Touch Pro? Would love to have an application like this on the Fuze (once I can get one). Of course it might be difficult given the difference in screen resolution (800x480 vs. 640x480).
And in case anyone cares, the full Touch HD manual is available here.
Wow I'm really hoping this shows up in a custom ROM or a cab or something for the pro.
Should be available soon, just follow this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=440861.
And I don't want to play Moderator, but please don't start to completely identical threads at the same time!

Gingerbread keyboard?

Just wondering if there's a Gingerbread keyboard floating around? Would one from the EVO work? I came from a Hero running CM6.1 with the gingerbread keyboard, and HTC's keyboard just feels awkward now.

I tried the Hero one but it FC'd. You can always download and install the Evo one. Then uninstall it if it doesn't work.
Try this guy

Search gingerkeyboard and gingerbread keyboard in the market. Only main difference between the two besides one being larger than the other is gb has adjustable key size. That's all I've noticed so far. They are pretty quick, especially in landscape.

[Q] iPhone Like Keyboard For NookColor

Hey guys, I just rooted my newly nookcolor and I was trying to get another particular keyboard called iPhone Keyboard https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sixgreen.android.softkeyboard&feature=more_from_developer but after the download and installation, i go to the nooksettings app and under keyboard, i still have only the multitouch and gingerbread keyboard and no iPhone option. I love my nookcolor, but I would like to have that iphone themed keyboard on it. Anyone have any ideas on how to get this baby to work?

Did you look at this thread here? http://nookdevs.com/NookColor_Replace_the_Default_Keyboard
I imagine its tougher to get it working on stock rom - there is also discussion in the thumb keyboard thread further up about getting keyboards working. Bear in mind that the resolution might not be correct of the keyboard for it to work on the larger size of the nook.
Judging by the reviews of this keyboard, you may want to try Smart Keyboard Pro instead. There are iPhone, Galaxy, HTC, etc. skins available for free.

Cyanoswype, the best damn Swype theme on the planet

Swype themes aren't that popular, although not hard to find. I recently came across Cyanoswype, a Gingerbread Keyboard theme for Swype. The difference between this and all other Gingerbread Swype keyboards is, this one actually works. It's compatible with the lastest Swype, and is also comapatible with qHD and HDPI devices.

Probably because you put the theme on the wrong version of Swype. That's exactly what happened to mine.

[Q&A] [MOD] Trouble Flashing DespairFactor's ios 9.1 Emoji Zip

I tried flashing the zip file from DespairFactor found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563757&page=25
My emoji keyboard looks like this: https://app.box.com/s/u2a6c773yg7j3fhqom2v05t6k69ls5ag
And no emojis show up on the screen. They don't have the box either. It is just blank space where they were.
I am using a Nexus 6 on 6.0 and its rooted.
Solution Found
The Problem is fixed now, in case anyone else had the same problem you can flash the zip from Caiosilva96 which can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzL4kz3FPLIJYl9QQ25iRnNlM2c/view
You can't access them on the keyboard until Google updates the keyboard, but what I did was put them in my personal dictionary with "mf" giving me the middle finger and then I also put the skin character in there as "c1" "c2" etc and you can add skin colors to the emoji's. Here is what mine look like on the Nexus 6
