Is not brick, try flashing official v20c, or maybe u can try flashing recovery using lgmdp.exe, and download and flash custom roms... It may work...
Have u turn off, lg modem in modems or com&lpt? In device manager...

It's the same error, also when flashing v20c. I haven't got LG Virtual Modem in device manager (and never had it - but everything was working, except adb).
If I'll flash recovery via LGMDP, have I to keep emergency mode on?

U will have to wait... The emergency mode is for awhile only, then it will start flashing...

There is only LGE Android Platform USB Modem #3.

yup... i had the same problem... but i solved by using LGMDP...!!
now u select the port com19... and flash the baseband im sure it will work... cos it worked with me....

edit: oh, is it only to get out of emergency? so can I flash anything?
edit2: after pressing Connect, all the fields are blank and under them there is written:
Error! can't open serial port(reboot and reconnect)
Can't it be a USB port's fault?
Is it safe to remove phone from usb while Emergency mode is on?

Can u open recovery??if yes den flash via lg mdp...If no den also flash via lg mdp but also flash baseband with recovery..try reinstalling lg drivers if ur phone isnt getting connected

I DID IT!
removed battery, inserted again and can't boot anymore
going to repair (I hope, warranty will help ).
will say them that I tried to update the phone with LG Software Updater tool.
btw, can I say that I had an error while updating or smth like that?
If you can boot into emergency mode (hold volume up + back and insert USB at the same time) then your phone is NOT bricked. Try with kdz, and make sure you have all the drivers installed.

Then u have a good brick for keeping in ur showcase...u mst do all possible things before exiting emergency mode..now try again after removing battery...if it dosent boot up..u need to take to lg service centre...Try all possible things before taking it to service centre

HardReset and check. You WILL lose data. Use at your own risk.
If above fails, flash any/latest P760 rom you want. Flash Tutorial here. Read posts carefully and dont ask about the things already mentioned in those threads. Hope this helps. You may lose data. Use at your own risk.

He never mentioned about rooting anywhere in post just flash kdz offline, that is not rooting. BTW hard reset worked for me i was stuck on boot logo while installing a custom rom
i have a problem! When i click on "Normal web upgrade test" and "Upgrade start",appear a window with message "Please install CSMG B2C Client TOOL. Select Tool -> Client setup menu" and i do this and nothing happes,please help !

I never came across your problem ok its R&D tool which s having problem. Possible solutions i found in optimus 2x forum:
1.Make sure u have all the editions of .net framework 2, 3, 3.5, 4
2.Download that R&D Tool again
3.Start again from beginng
4.If still doesn work try downloadin different versions of R&D Tool google it u ll find it

Ok in KDZ_FW_UPD_EN folder u ll find another .exe ie B2CAppSetup, run that as admin and try once again.
And make sure that shttps folder and R & D tool both are in C drive not any other drive

On first message:
For entering download mode some bootloaders (if I'm right) use different key combos for entering to either doenload mode or recovery. Have you tried (vol+, vol-) or (vol- only) while usb is plugged and battery previously taken out?
As of the dll message don't worry. It just takes some time to start loading past 0% when starting to upload the kdz (less than 1 or 2 minutes though), but it will eventually keep giving you that message with the completed percentage so far inside the parenthesis.

I formatted the internal SD card through CWM and now the card cannot be recognized by Win7 and it's stated as a linux file-CD Gadget USB Device, and the drives are greyed out. How do I revert the SD Card back to FAT32 format?
I'm also unable to mount it as USB storage in CWM recovery giving an error of cannot write to lumfile (no such file and directory). However, I'm able to still format the sdcard in cwm but it does not solve the problem.
Any help is appreciated.

I have the same problem with you. I update rom 4.4 for LG L3 400 and it runs but has some problem. After that i connect to PC and see a drive I: have the boot file. I think it is my external SD card so i use "MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition" program delete it. After that my phone show "Damaged SD Card" and cannot mount or do anything.
Next i reboot in recovery mod and format SD card. After that my phone cannot boot in android. I still open in Emergency mode, Recovery Mod, Windows still realizes drivers but the drives are greyed out. Try a lot of issue as KDZ, LG Tool,.. but it seems no changes.
Help us please!

I have unbricked my phone once. This gave me confidence to try some blunder. I used kitkat version for 2 weeks and when some problem occurred I decided to flash it once again. I wiped dalvik cache and all the options sd partition(I hope sd partition has no cause in the death of my phone) and flashed with kk rom, Its dead.. it hangs at lg logo........ I headed upto kdz once again.
Let me first describe my condition.

Only access: emergency mode.
Methods tried.
1..unbricking with kdz updater.
I selected the options 3gcqt and diag mode and when it failed to update I selected other options like cs_emergency and emergency and different chip types. is this the reason for bootloop?
Well now my phone`s condition is, when I boot it lg logo appears:laugh: and after sometimes a white splash appears and it repeats again:silly: and again.

When I retried with correct option it says wparam llparam error even though I installed mxmsl parser. repaired it many times and restarted... then it shows

from the threads I have read I reset it(vol down+home+power) but nothing happened it again boots with lg logo but no white splash.
I have gone through many forums in many sites but nothing seemed to give correct reason and solution. Can I use my phone again or just dump it in my backyard. waiting for response from an expert.:good:

In the L5 forums, a few people mentioned this issue, but said the firmware flashed successfully despite the error. If you are still in a bootloop, then try just doing a factory reset as the KDZ flashes the system, kernel, radios, etc, but does not wipe data. If you are still having issues, you'll have better luck in the L3/L5/L7 section here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l3-l5-l7/help - There are more than a couple of threads with people who have soft bricked. I recommend reading a few to get some ideas if the factory reset doesn't help. Good luck!

in the properties(kdz exe)it says it is compatible for windows xp sp2 sp3 and 98 models. except my os.
can you find me a direct link for kdz firmware. I am living in India lg e400. I cannot get the link from adf..ly; something wrong with my browser. going to try it out in another pc.

Hello, I have the same problem but my computer can't recognize my e400. Emergency mode is not appears even if Vol(-)+Home+Power of Vol(-)+Vol(+)+Power. So I can't flash again, phone always not found, and the nothing of LG shown in device manager.
What should I do?

Trying to downgrade my stock KitKat V20D LG L9 II to some previous version via LG Flash Tool 2014 (tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190) but still getting stuck:
During the flashing the progress stops at 4 % and shows "Upgrade stopped due to an error"
Tried to use various firmware from http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=37 but non was working.
I have correct drivers + reinstalled multipletimes, COM port set to 41, tried two USB cables and 2 ports, tried both in Download Mode and with running phone.
The official LG Mobile Support Tool works fine - I can reinstall latest FW via it!
Running Win7.
Anything else I should try?
I'm really desperate now, spent 5 hours with no reason.

just try other lg flash tool. But if begines and it randomly errors, is probably the cable/usb port/computer issues. On my pc for example on most ports randomly erorrs, rarely finishes, and on other ports, works perfectly everytime. (i do have an unfit powersuplly so ....)
Neither the older LG Flash Tool is not working for me.
And I tried 3 different cables, different ports... And I have no other computer available right now. But the errors are not random, it simply dosnt work at all.

Dont know where the log is on LG Flash Tool 2014, but try the older version in the attachement, and the log is right in the main window.

flash the kdz in download/rescue mode. Check what drivers apear in windows device manager thing (LG modem there ?). Make sure the phone battery is full. Did u install the msxml and windows enabler? Reinstall drivers. It errores on all ports in the same place, or it starts to send data and crashes after. Run the application in "administrative mode".
Everything tried, no effect.
But I tried to flash another version of firmware - D60520c_00.kdz and it worked!
So problem is solved now, thanks for your time

Chm, the 20C version is also not rootable :-/
Will try another computer to make downgrade.
Second computer, totally same situation! :/
Problem is probably in the phone, not in computer config.

is the 10A u got valid ? try a different one. Also 20D (and prob 20C too) is rootable, the only problem is that u just cant install a custom boot on it.

for 20A-20D root: http://forum.xda-developers.com/opt...ot-l9-d605-stock-recovery-4-4-2-v20a-t2964723 , make an primary ext2/3/4 partition, boot in mormal recovery, and aplly zip (root_v2A.zip)
But if u want custom recovery u must go V10A. (unless TWRP workes installed via 20x, but i dont belive so, i use CWM so i dont know) Keep on trying different versions of 10A/computers, dont know what to say, if 1 kdz worked all should ...

The 20C is only one KDZ which is working, older are not flashable for me. Tried different computers, cables, drivers, ports...
