If you don't already have CWM, You have to install it before install the rom. (As CFROOT).
Download the latest Criskelo ROM and put it on your INTERN SD card.
Open your CWM Application, select flash Update, and select the rom zip.
Say "yes", your rom will be installed.
Enjoy !

Installed, my little droid came back on boot ! like as my old sgs ! I'm testing and report if there is an issue.
I came from a cognition 1.13, installed by recovery, no issue actually ! no wipe !

I am proud to present to you the BeanStalk Rom + W03Tweaks. This is a build forked off CM with countless features and tweaks under the hood. I want this rom to be the go to for a CLEAN AOSP experience. Ultimate battery, performance and reliability OUT OF THE BOX, that's the goal of the rom. I picked the source that impressed me the most to do add my own layer of optimizations over it, tailor made for our device and it's hardware, more than a bot building the same source for 15 different devices. This rom may not be for those who feel the need to flash nightlies and even weeklies as I will always pick refinement over the addition of features. is it normal for my cpu frequency to be fluctuating even though I'm at the settings when I'm looking at my cpu frequency? it goes from 200 to 1600, up and down so on..

This is a port of scott.hart.bti's Beanstalk ROM. This is a build composed off of the CM11.0 builds and with added features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. Instructions for porting Beanstalk
Setup to build - This section can be skipped if youve ever built anything before. This is for first time build setup.
1. From your root terminal location, type the following: sudo apt-get install curl git-core gnupg flex bison gperf libsdl1.2-dev libesd0-dev libwxgtk2.6-dev squashfs-tools build-essential zip curl libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev sun-java6-jdk pngcrush schedtool g++-multilib lib32z1-dev lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline5-dev gcc-4.3-multilib g++-4.3-multilib
2. Type: mkdir ~/bin
3. Type: PATH=~/bin:$PATH
4. Type: curl https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/googlesource/git-repo/repo > ~/bin/repo
5. Type: chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
From terminal
1. type 'cd'. This will bring you to your root folder.
2. type 'mkdir beanstalk'. This will create a folder named beanstalk.
3. type 'cd beanstalk'. This will take you to the beanstalk directory created from previous step
4. type 'repo init -u git://github.com/scotthartbti/android.git -b jb43'. This will setup the folders to be synced.
5. type 'repo sync'. This will sync the folders to your beanstalk directory. Note - This will take some time depending on internet connection. Be patient!
6. After the repo sync finally finishes, all you need to do is add your device, kernel, vendor specific files for the device you are building for. (You must know what these are, dont bother asking me if your not sure.)
7. Make sure all your device specific files are setup as if you were going to build for CM.
8. Outside of terminal, navigate to beanstalk/vendor/cm. Double click on the get-prebuilts file and select run in terminal. This will fetch necessary files needed to build and place them where they need to be.
9. Type '. build/envsetup.sh && brunch "device name"'
10. Previous step will start building beanstalk for your device. The process takes anywhere from 1 - 3 hours depending on your computer.
11. Once completed, it will say package complete and you will have a beanstalk named zip file in your out folder.

Edit: three things.
1: this is so nice. Very smooth. No FC's so far, but I just restored my apps. I'll break it in better in the morning
2: purely cosmetic, and I know I can disable it if I wanted to, but the boot animation doesn't take up the whole screen.
3: was gonna stay silent, but ihatewebos just had to thank this post. If it wasn't for that guy, I wouldn't have been so excited for it.
Will this rom make my phone waterproof? If not can you incorporate that feature in a future update? I keep dropping my phone in the toilet. Im on my 16th DNA now. i cant imagine it would be that difficult but im no dev. If not can u at least make it so the phone will float instead of sink to the bottom? Thanks a ton

This is running smoother than I thought it would. 24 hours in I've had no force closes and it's pretty snappy. Figured with all the features it would be a little laggy. Haven't tried the android tweaks yet.
Trying to work in waterproofing. It keeps giving me framework build errors though. Might be included further down the road, unless the original beanstalk dev beats me to it.

The focus issue was a kernel problem that was fixed awhile ago in CM 10.2 and should be fixed in Roms that are using an up to date kernel tree.

I synced all the dlx and m7 sources yesterday, so they're all fresh.
How to you get the app bar to appear on the right side?
is this a Verizon build or a gsm build?
just asking because ive had an issue with my phone wanting to roam with these aosp builds

its a verizon for sure .... I have been running it on day on mine not sure if you can flash the GSM patch or not

Same here. I'll see what we can figure out. I never use headphones, has this popped up before in any other ROM?

Building from Linux platforms. In particular Ubuntu 10.04

Setup to build - This section can be skipped if youve ever built anything before. This is for first time build setup.
1. From your root terminal location, type the following: sudo apt-get install curl git-core gnupg flex bison gperf libsdl1.2-dev libesd0-dev libwxgtk2.6-dev squashfs-tools build-essential zip curl libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev sun-java6-jdk pngcrush schedtool g++-multilib lib32z1-dev lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline5-dev gcc-4.3-multilib g++-4.3-multilib
2. Type: mkdir ~/bin
3. Type: PATH=~/bin:$PATH
4. Type: curl https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/googlesource/git-repo/repo > ~/bin/repo
5. Type: chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
From terminal
1. type 'cd'. This will bring you to your root folder.
2. type 'mkdir beanstalk'. This will create a folder named beanstalk.
3. type 'cd beanstalk'. This will take you to the beanstalk directory created from previous step
4. type 'repo init -u git://github.com/scotthartbti/android.git -b cm-10.1'. This will setup the folders to be synced.
5. type 'repo sync'. This will sync the folders to your beanstalk directory. Note - This will take some time depending on internet connection. Be patient!
6. After the repo sync finally finishes, all you need to do is add your device, kernel, vendor specific files for the device you are building for. (You must know what these are, dont bother asking me if your not sure.)
7. Make sure all your device specific files are setup as if you were going to build for CM.
8. Outside of terminal, navigate to beanstalk/vendor/cm. Double click on the get-prebuilts file and select run in terminal. This will fetch necessary files needed to build and place them where they need to be.
9. Type '. build/envsetup.sh && brunch "device name"'
10. Previous step will start building beanstalk for your device. The process takes anywhere from 1 - 3 hours depending on your computer.
11. Once completed, it will say package complete and you will have a beanstalk named zip file in your out folder.

This rom is far the fastest of all Kitkat Roms after testing it all on daily usage,
The battery consumption is awesome. And the best of all are the Features, Its Top Notch!
Fast and smooth Slim Recents and properly working Active Display.
This rom is fast as AORP or even faster.
The only two bug on this rom so far is Camera Preview and laggy browser.
Contacts sync is not there. I have installed beanstalk Gapps. It was working ok.
After flashing zip for Neo patch this rom is stuck at Beanstalk logo.

thats the only two bugs so far, and it will be fix on next update.

No it won't work ...for those models except for J700H, the ROM has to be compiled with certain amount of changes again ..if u flash on other variant, you will brick your device
