Trouble doing a hard reset ( SOLVED ) - Samsung Galaxy 5 I5500

Hi there I have a problem doing the hard reset with a brand new device.
My wife just bought the Samsung GT-I5500 and I was installing ADW on it as the stock launcher is not that good as ADW.
Now my problem is that ADW stopped unexpended and now it wont let my in the home screen and so I cant reach settings to Uninstall ADW.
So I was planning to do a simple hard reset (I though) But it just don't work.
I get to the screen with the yellow triangle ( volume down +menu button + power button) so my pc was automatic installing some Samsung drivers and ask me to restart my pc(and so i did) but nothing happened.
Anny of you have a solution for this problem???

I know and I try d it 10 times but it just did not work for me.
The only solution that worked for me was to dial the *2767*38655# number and it auto restarted en came back to stock.

Im having trouble hard resetting as well!
Except I cannot access past the lockscreen because a friend forgot the password..
The key combination doesnt work, is there any other way?

Factory reset, if it works

External Screen white

Ok I did a quick search on the forum and I couldn't seem to find if anybody else had this problem.
I recently purchased a used HTC Qtek 8500 from eXpansys / Mobileplanet.
The only problem I have with the phone is that the external screen is white and won't change to anything else no matter what settings I make the change too. Obviously the screen is getting power to it but I don't have any other display other then just a white screen. See attached picture
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try a hard reset
push and release the power button, then quickly push and hold the left and right soft keys ( the buttons over the green and red buttons) when instructed press "0".
may or may not work, but worth a shot.
you may even consider opening the phone and reseating the connector of the display.. this happened a week ago to my keypad.. when it was not working.. and then after trying alot.. i noticed that when i pressed 4 hard i use to get the light.. just opened 2 screw's and removed the cable and put it back.. as good as new
Tried a hard reset as suggested.
Even tried flashing another ROM.
No difference still has the External White Screen. Anybody else have any ideas?
Bad news .... mine has the same behaviour and warranty service told me that was the lcd broken... so no warranty repair.
...although my phone has not even a little sign!!!!!
Will try to open it with the help of this guide when the phone come back from repair center.
I'll let you know

screen not responding, may need to return to vodafone

this is linked to my other thread but that was initially for another, connected, issue.
at first i simply noticed that the press in the sms text box didnt bring up the keyboard when in portrait mode (pressing at bottom of screen). i put this down to using kh3 and tried factory resetting which didnt help.
i then noticed that pressing and holding a widget didnt register the actio all the time and sometime dropped the widget. when i dragged it down to the trash it didnt go red straight away and i needed to wiggle my finger to get it to register. also button presses on things such as 'next' buttons etc didnt work most times.
it seems that for some reason my screen is failing/failed at the bottom at least with also some problems in other areas of the screen.
if anyone can think of a solution i would be grateful considering the phone is approx 4 months old.
if not i will need to get it prepped for a return to vodafone which i presume means flashing back to whatever firmware is best (not sure which) and do i have to reset something or other??
EDIT... i have been directed to the touch test and this is showing a large band that doesnt register presses.. oddly the white squares 2nd from the bottom and parts of the squares above and below dont register presses but DO regsiter if i press and hold then go across them.

I have this problem to when i scroll down window with signs it locks up and i can't move it but when scroll and hold finger all the time this problem does'tt exist
It's a permament bug. You can't do anything to fix it.
But not all roms have this bug so this is possible to fix it?
The solution on this problem is to rotate your screen/use the slide keyboard then use back again the onscreen keyboard. This happens when you scroll up or scroll down on the symbols menu. If you don't want to be stucked again then better to not scroll up and down to its max, just put a little space when scrolling.
Problemi with external keyboard
I have an X10 MINI PRO. The problem with the external keyboard is that, when i press the 'S' button, it writes 'SC'; when i press the 'F' button it writes 'FV'.
Is this problem connected with the SuquashiInputMethod ?
I installed the following ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2088595
I follow all the instructions to set the keyboard but it doesn't work properly.
I don't know if I have to install a fix, or if the problem depends on my hardware device....
Thankyou for your help!

has anyone ever seen this or how to fix it??

My mother got this on her phone... wth is this and how you fix it

Maybe its of an application you installed, that doesn`t show up normaly. Some kind of device manager probably. If it isn`t that and yo are not rooted do a data/factory reset in backup and restore. That should do it. Look in development options and see if you have something checked about showing system information.
Search pop up. There was a solution posted about a week ago.
...it was in the T-Mobile Q&A forum.
I think you reboot whilst holding menu soft key

Maybe you just need to close something in the developer settings. ..

The text box is called Factory Mode, I just enabled it on my phone to verify, then disabled it again with the following method:
Download ROM Toolbox from the Play Store. Open it up, and it will have a bunch of different apps combined in to one. The one you want is called "Root Browser".
In Root Browser, navigate to efs/FactoryApp/ (It will ask for root access, allow it)
be sure to thank the guy that figured it out.

Can anyone help please?
Is your phone recognized when you type fastboot devices? Otherwise you can try the dload method, tell me if you want me to explain more
I dont really understand can you explain please
How did you try to reset it ? Is your bootloader unlocked? Have you installed a custom recovery?
I didn't install anything. I just went to setting and factory reset and when it shut down and power up this screen shows up after the logo.
And to get back to the home screen I keep pressing home and volume down and it restart and gets back to home screen. So the problem is the phone refuse to factory reset
In this case juste use the dload method and flash your current ROM

What's a dload?
To perform dload method: place the UPDATE.APP of the ROM you want to install inside a folder called dload and located at the root of your SD card. Then shut down your phone, when it is powered off, hold power and both volume buttons at the same time, when the phone reboot release the power button but keep holding the volume buttons until you see a starting process.
Note: you need a stock recovery to perform that
