Thanx anyway for great rom,all things works great-i did not found any issues-i saw that other member reported some apps have fc-s i gues i did not used those apps,so for me all thigns are working in rom...
I strongly reccomend this rom to "sense" fans cause its simple, stock and very smooth!
All the best to developer on ginger sense, hope u will manage to solve somehow those graphic gliches

How is it working?

i want to know also on how this rom is.

Are your rom based on 2.3.5 ?

Nope, Sense2 are froyo based. I have one sense3 (gingerbread based) on hold cause an iptables issue. Btw, there's no sense 2.3.5 yet, only 2.3.4.

hi! thank you very much for your good work! has this rom 720p video recording?

Yes, but I didn't test it (just based on evil's rom/kernel information)

1.1 is out but there's an issue in DSP Manager

I don't know if HTC has released some Sense using 2.3.5 yet.

Correcting some wrong statements:
Sense2.x are Gingerbread-based, see stock build of Desire S for reference. This ROM isn't Sense2, it's Sense 1.8 (Desire HD's Froyo Sense).

Everyting out of the box (at this time)"

This is incorrect. WiFi Tethering doesn't work properly on NXSense HD, and unless you fixed it, it won't work. It shows the tethering symbol alright, but try to actually connect to the phone and use the internet - and you see that it doesn't work.

I can't test everything, tests are welcome, specially those without flames.

Findings:
Stocks: FC
Wireless Tether: FC
Rest works just fine.
However, I might have a personal issue: i get disconnected from the mobile network as soon as the display goes to sleep. I got that with all Sense ROMs.
I have the 5.12 baseband. Any ideas?
Im new to this HTC stuff.

Thanks for the report, Wireless Tether will be removed (by now), I'll see what can I do for stocks.
Well, I don't know about this mobile network issue, I test here doing a download and tried many times and there's no disconnect (I have the same radio as yours). Can you try looking to logcat if something is wrong?
Update: That's weird, the widget works but the app don't.
Update2: I don't know how to fix this issue, I test lots of other versions of this apps, none of them seems to works correctly (the widget still works), any suggestions? Maybe I should remove this?

Unfortunately I've tried to get this to install twice and I'm met with the error, "Failure at line 445" and it aborts installation. The only post I found with someone having the same issue they were using clockwork recovery and not amon's. I'm already using amon's so I'm not sure what else to try.

this rom will be updated to 3.0 sense? other sense 3.0 roms are very bugged and the creators don't update these!

I have tried the dbasabe sensation port, it's a very smooth and stable rom; I gave it up after 2 days only because of the poor battery (and no track ball wake). If you can investigate the battery drain issue, then it will be great.

testing the new version on my build.... some broken apps and functionality...trying to get to work...
My cousin has the Nexus One and he tells me he flashed this ROM and it's made miracles for him. Wi-fi is 2x as fast, less hiccups, less bugs, and overall awesomeness is spread all over this build. It would be nice to see it on the HD2.
To be quite honest, I have to agree. Give this a few days, let it ride out. The current stuff is perfect right now I think as is.
Look, set up your phone exactly like mine [in sig] and you should have a HD2 android all the time phone . Been using 2 versions, the new Hyperdroid 1.1 and thats really really nice. Looks fantastic and runs perfect (no wifi and end is the ONLY wake key...but it ALWAYS works ).
Play around, just watch what you play with so long as its not fire, just find what works best. It DOES work for some that do it right. Go try before bashing the AMAZING community. Leave if you cant appreciate.
EDIT: @psykick5, thats great news . I do hope it irons out some stuff, and it wont be long trust me. Few days we will see this out and I cant wait. HD2 ANDROID is better than any actual android phone I think lol.

BT (OK?)
Camera (OK)

crackeyes - will try this later today. i especially would like to see how a streamlined ROM with some tweaks would run and if it would improve battery llife. I am getting less then 1/2 the life of OC'd G2X at 1500 on CM7 and Miui plus stock is slower then hell.
Question - just how did you get s=off? I went the boot loader/perm root path, and have not seen an s=off thread.

Nice first try, but by basing it on 1.35 it seems to have carried over the problems I had with 1.35 (the one posted not the one on my device). That was no WIFi, hot spot, Bluetooth work at all.
I found it is faster then the stock, and it looks like it has good potential. I am going to nandroid it and hopefully you will release a latter one that has these fixed.
Minor request - really liked an alternative lock screen layout on the stock ROM - anyway to bring these over?

Weird My wifi works, my bluetooth works for music and calls and have not tried hotspot. Sounds like you may have a weird hardware issue. Im not saying my rom is perfect but it seems like every OM you try other than stock it is giving you these errors
As for the lockscreens I suggest Widget Locker it has many different themes for it and different lock styles. Its like 3 bucks
I will look into these issues and see if anyone else is having them
it might be due to another issue that has been brought up in another thread. it has been stated that possibly the boot.img are not flashing when a ROM is flashed and that the one on board remains. That could explain why I cannot get a 1.35's to work - I may still have the 1.36 bootimg on.
I asked the poster who said this lack of flashing could be the result of NOT having s=off (the required permissions are not there) but got no response. It had also been stated earlier that unlocked boot loader and perm root would not allow kernels to be flashed (the y are primarily a boot.img) - so this may support the s=off issues.
If this is the case, we need to get s=off, or maybe have ROMs including kernels packaged so they will flash as an update in hboot like Xboarder's earlier rescue ROM.
Lucky you - how did you get an s=off shipped anyway.

That is a good theroy and very understandable. as for the s-off it is luck of the draw i guess, I have had a sensation, and amaze with ship off
This rom runs pretty darn good except for the wifi issue. From reading the install procedure, did you actually make this to flash straight over the stock rom or are we supposed to wipe like usual before we install this? I wiped everything than installed and wifi doesn't work at all. I'm just curious as if this could be why.

can we use stock kernel?
only asking cause faux makes my phone reboot
thanks~
very nice, gingerbread naively does not support multiple cores as someone told me...so this is a nice welcome.
Sounds promising! Excited to download.
The link is up. I see no one has replied yet.
Anyone tried it out yet?
I will when I get home.
i tried it out last night. I must say, its pretty speedy and very smooth. i could see a big difference with this ROM and the previous ROM i was running, which was Android Revolution 1.1.0. the only problem i had was the contacts app which i press my own contact (Me) and press the sync tab afterwards, it would force close. Im sure its just a bug, so im gonna try factory resetting the phone (not from the recovery menu) and see if that fixes it. Other than that, i love this ROM

Swapping The Kernel in ICScrewd?

I have been having numerous issues trying to get ICScrewd to run on my phone and I am almost certain its a kernel issue.
It was suggested that I swap out the kernel before flashing and that sounds like a great idea to me.
Except...... I don't know how.
Is it as simple as taking the zImage from the kernel zip I want and placing it in the rom zip I want?
Can I ignore the META-INF folder or do I need to somehow merge that over too?
I am sure there is a wiki or a how-to on this but I have looked and cant find it. Its probably because I don't know phrase my search.
But anyway, if someone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

Yup it is that simple, just replace the file with the one you want.
You can also clean up with kernel cleaning script then flash entropy kernel in recovery

My poor phone locks up even in recovery running Siyah. Its crazy.
I am going to try this like you suggested in your thread.
I should be reporting back soon.
It worked!
So far, so good.
I havent had a single locked up screen or SOD since I flashed.
Thanks guys!
Interesting, i've been using siyah for a long time and never experienced any issues.

Just curious since I have never tried a mod with any major changes, what are the benifits of changing out the Kernel, and what are the differences between them?

For myself the benefit was actually being able to run the ICScrewd rom at all.
In my experience of several years of flashing, some kernels just wont work with some phones.
It sound odd and all that, but my real world experience has led me to give each kernel I am interested in several tried and if they continually crash my phone I move on. I have no idea why this would be. Coming from the Captivate I tried all sorts of kernel and rom combinations. If they didn't work well I just moved on.
As far as different kernels go, some have better battery life than others due to built in tuning I believe. They can be cleaned up to help your phone run faster. And obviously from my experience here in this thread, help your phone be stable.
Excuse my noobness, please. I figured this would be a pretty relevant thread to post this question.
I flashed Siyah 2.6.9 via Odin and then in recovery installed ICScreweD. Did doing so revert my kernel to the older version of Siyah used in the rom?
If so, can I just flash in the newer version using Odin or should I research another method?
This is my first root/mod so I'm still a little nervous about messing up.

yes this reverted to the older kernel included in the rom, to flash the newest kernel. Load the zip of the kernl onto your sd card, enter CWM and flash the zip. Much easier to do than with odin.
Thanks! I was pretty sure that was the case but figured I should ask anyway. I've been lurking these forums for a while and it's awesome how helpful this community is to everyone.
While on the subject of ICScreweD, is there anything I will lose by going to the green edition? The website is kinda unclear as to if there are any features not yet available in the green edition.

[ROM]May-4|ICS|aosp-ish|Beats audio|RevolutionizedNonsense2.0final! BIG update!

Updated May 4th at 3pm - FINAL update, all future updates will be flashable on ALL roms. This update will bring all users to 2.0 FINAL. This includes all previous features: (Adreno drivers, sense removed, etc) but now includes FULL Beats audio integration, srs controls for htc music and play music, adds tweaks that HUGELY improve battery, and removes DspManager for compatability(this was keeping beats from working properly).
Having battery drain? There are tried and true methods here that can reduce your drain while using it OR with screen off(deep sleep). With fairly heavy use I get at LEAST 16 hours out of this rom by using those tips, and have even gotten 20 hours while still having 35% battery left- it can be done!
A mod is incoming that will be available for ALL roms- this is where future effort and support will be.
What's working? Everything.. well, almost 100%. The new features in the latest update may have inconsistencies to htc music player to make the hacks possible- need feedback. Full beats audio, aosp replacements of most stock sense apps, bloat and sense removed, improvements to battery life, updated 2d libs, and it is fully based on Android Revolution HD(by mike1986.) for its already many tweaks and ultra smoothness.
The only known "bugs": You must unlock stock lockscreen to answer a call- until aosp dialer works this is the way it has to be- also mms cannot be sent from the aosp app- anyone currently running these aosp apps without the proper framework will have the same issues.
The stock htc player may issue a FC when trying to shuffle or other misc features- conditioned unknown, only happened once.
In HTC music player do not select "Equalizer(Headphones only)" - this was hacked to allow true beats audio and will force close the app.
This is built on Android Revolution HD by Mike1986. Here are the base roms features:
Removed software (CPU) rendering - full Adreno220 (GPU) rendering
Fully optimized and tweaked
ROOT (su + SuperSu Permissions - Thanks to chainfire)
Unsecured boot.img
Newest BusyBox
RAM optimizations
Improved Adreno220 configuration for better quality and performance!
Speed optimizations
Enabled GPU UI rendering
SD Card speed tweak
Data, cache and system partitions mounting tweaks
Battery auto-calibration script (Thanks to seo)
Bloatware applications removed (Amazon MP3, SoundHound, etc.)
All /system applications updated to latest available
All /data applications updated to latest available
Improved camera performance
Improved virtual memory management
Improved CPU governors performance
Most optimal system scheduler
Disabled kernel debugging for better performance
ZRAM ready!
Advanced Power Menu and CRT Animation as extra add-ons
Zipaligned (Improved RAM management)
Zipalign on boot (for user applications on data partition)
Fully de-odexed
init.d scripts (BusyBox run-parts) support
Auto init.d permissions set on boot
sysro/sysrw commands support
Excellent battery life!
Improved EXT4 performance by changing mounting method
SD card EXT4 partition support
OpenVPN support
4EXT Recovery (Thanks to madmaxx82)
Most up-to-date system files permissions
You can replace HTC boot animation with any custom boot animation
Support almost 24h a day
...and many more!

Issues:
Need to unlock stock lockscreen to answer call.
Installing:
*Note*
Always make a nandroid(It will save your ass!)
*Flash on full battery* - This makes a BIG difference
If you're new to ICS - Follow the instructions that you would need to flash Android Revolution HD EXACTLY and then flash RevolutionizedNonsense(I am forcing you to go to his thread!)
Do a full wipe(unless otherwise noted) and flash the rom and any other file listed with it.
I think that about covers it, hopefully this doesn't blow up anyone's phone, hopefully this will help someone besides myself till we get some more official AOSP-ish rom made by some actual developer- I think I need a beer.
Workarounds/tricks-
1. (Confirmed)If you really can't stand the HTC launcher and contacts you can download GO Contacts/dialer or exDialer/contacts(ex dialer ics theme) then go to system settings>app associations to choose your replacements-- Thanks UndeadSquirrel who pointed this out in post #34!
2. Also, for a little more speed, a little more battery or to learn about some features in ICS check this thread here: How to speed up and save battery on ICS- extra features explored..
3. Want to talk about how good/bad the battery is? Install currentwidget from the play store and read this thread- it explains how to make sure your battery is FULLY charged, and the widget can show you what your mah drain is- particularly useful to see what is happening with screen off OR on. If your phone is off but is draining 50mah+ every time it logs, your phone is going to die really fast.. to trouble shoot that you can get betterbatterystats from here.. but you can just read that thread yourself.

Removing spareparts - it wasn't working.
Removed a total of 61 Senseui and bloat apks(including visual voicemail which can be added in the market if you want it)
Included but not installed(requires more testing- want to help?):
Cm Music app is unpacked to your system/app folder but ends with .bak - some features in that app have also been unlocked, but because of some conflicts I did not allow it to install. Uninstalling/disabling/freezing the stock htc music player, then removing .bak from the cm music.apk and rebooting may give you a fully working app(try at your own risk) with its own set of features. For example: Music controls now work on aosp lock screen.
DolbyMobilev1.0.apk is included in the data/app folder of the zip but is not installed. If you wish to test those features just unzip the file and install like a normal app- should be working, but I am not sure if it conflicts with the included srspanel and full beats audio features.

Well it isn't quite CM9, but it is fairly more aosp than stock. There is a speed rom that EclipzeRemix has that you could try too- I made this for the people who love Android Revolution HD's speed and great battery, etc.

Been out a few hours and you're already wondering? Lol. Look at feedback for android revolution HD, should be at least as good, and stripping out some sense COULD have made it a bit better. For the few days I was running it I can say I am more than happy with it(better than stock).
Oh, and you made gameCIH didn't you? That app has either ruined my gaming experience or made it better.. stupid games that are pointless in the first place usually don't last me long(which is good) when I use your app! Love it!
downloading now
Isn't the radio that is required for revolutionary the new ICS radio? So if I flashed the ICS ruu then I don't need to flash it again correct?

His instructions include a radio, I never bothered to check to see if it is the same stock radio- but considering I don't know of any others that work with ICS..
I would say just to be safe, follow his instructions.
Code:
Firmware package
--- It's necessary to flash new firmware package before flashing this ROM ---
--- Firmware package contains newest radio for 2.x.x ROMs ---
--- Only for devices with S-OFF ---
Super Wipe
--- This script will erase and format your data, system and cache partition ---
--- Your SD card will remain untouched FAT32 and it's recommended to leave it like that ---
With 2.2.x ROMs I strongly recommend flashing 1.14.550L.17DC_30.78.550L.15 radio
--- Don't flash RADIO from ClockworkMod recovery! Extract downloaded file and read the guide inside! ---
--- Radio MD5 Checksum: E6B9DB2076951833B22ECFD88B59E288 *radio.img ---
--- Using a "non matched" radio could have a negative effect on performance, battery life & signal strength ---
--- You don't have to flash RIL files for recommended radio. It's already in the ROM ---
--- Only for devices with S-OFF ---
Even more reason to do it-- because this rom has literally has 0 issues no matter what I do.. smooth as buttah. Why screw that up by skipping a step?

No need to get all HOT..
1. I asked how the battery life because you more than likely had it for more days than me.
2. I didn't make GameCIH apk.
3. Accusations are not good.

Well it's just an unnecessary step from what I can tell cuz the radio listed in the instructions is the very radio that is on my phone. Since I have already installed the ICS update ruu, which the ROM is based off, then I should have the firmware. I'm not opposed to flashing the recommended radio but like I said just seems like one extra step that I don't need to take since it is there already.

Testing testing 123. Can't seem to download Speed ROM, so I tried this one. Nice work indeed! Trebuchet launcher seems a lot smoother than Apex. Overall, a nice blend of HTC and AOSP. Will test some more. =)

Not sure how you read it, but I wasn't "hot" at all. The only thing that I said was that it wasn't out long enough, but I gave you my experience and reasoning. Sorry if you misunderstood

I'll amend the instructions then, the only reason I'd leave it is to keep it noob proof- we do seem to have a lot of new users, and I'll bet someone will eventually flash this without looking at the instructions!

I haven't switched between them very much, I noticed in Apex you can resize widgets and a bunch of little things I didn't notice with trebuchet.. maybe I need to take another look.
And thanks, I'm very happy with the way this is running too! I'd love to get a little theming done, but with it being THIS stable I'm almost afraid to mess with it.

So that is two for trebuchet? Any reasons in particular, as I said above, I need to check them out a bit more I think..
And I think I'm gonna take the beta tag off, I'm pretty damn sure this rom will have no issues unless someone just installs it wrong..
How would anyone feel about me removing the stock keyboard(if possible) and putting in the ICS keyboard(or at least adding the aosp one)?

I can agree with on the new users part for sure, and you should probably leave your instructions just for that reason.
As far as trebuchet I like it mainly for it's simplicity. I played with apex for a minute and it's nice to and there are a lot of features for it, but I prefer trebuchet because it's clean and simple.
I always install Swype for my keyboard cuz I like it and have been using it for a long time.

Correct, if you already flashed the firmware package Mike provided, then you are already good to go.
Silent, I have not used Apex or Trebuchet yet, but I do use GO Launcher EX. That might be an option for your ROM as well. But I will definitely try this one out. Just curious, do you have updating enabled via ROM Manager or some other app?
I'm currently downloading the ROM now, but I just wanted to say I think you should keep both launchers, let users decide which they want to use!

Hmm, I wonder if anyone would mind having ICS as an alternative keyboard included..

Until ICS I was using GO launcher EX, I found a good ICS theme for it.. but I think it was paid. I loved the features, but I am even MORE impressed by Apex, you just gotta play with it to see
And my original intention was to get this rom stable, and it seems pretty rock solid stable, maybe update it when mike1986 updates his revolution rom- but I wasn't sure if I was gonna keep working on it. If I decide to update with rom manager, I'll update the OP.
If someone made me a theme I can drop into it, I gladly would put it in

I kinda thought that way too, the rom is rooted, and even has es file explorer(which can use root) to remove anything anyone doesn't like.. I'm thinking of adding the AOSP keyboard, at least because I prefer it, lol.
And guys, I was doing some testing, and although there is nothing I can see for a way to bake it into this rom.. this post could explain how to get some extra snappiness. It made a HUGE difference(the first tip) when I am doing heavy multitasking- puts me at 400mb free ram with most of the used being for the apps I am actually using- 400 is amazing considering I have over 100 extra apps installed..
Just figured I'd share.

This theme is great to add to the AOSP feel! But I believe it is for odexed ROM's, I stripped as much HTC sense from my ICS update and applied this theme and it was great looking, there is also a batt % mod and an ICS icon zip in the thread.
Edit: LOL after reading your sig I can see this theme is already good to use on your ROM.......oops

Hey silent, I flashed the radio from the revolutioin HD rom per the instructions just to verify and it is the exact same radio. I wrote it down from my phone and then checked after fastboot flash and it was the same.
