And when I change adb to .bat I just get a .dll error, even though I have the dll with the software. Im using Windows 7 64 bit edition. This is my first Android phone so I am a noob to them, so please be as specific as possible.

when I click on the dll file, here's what I get: TLOSS error

[Q] Android Proguard ERROR: Unknown verificatification type[10]

I am trying to build an apk file for release. My application lib contains a jar (probably obfuscated) from a third party vendor of one of my company's hard-wares. When I build the apk in debug mode it is successful, but when I try to do it in release mode using "ant release" it throws the following error.
Code:
BUILD FAILED
C:\adt-bundle-windows-x86_64\sdk\tools\ant\build.xml:868: Can't read [D:\Workspace\MyProject\libs\ThirdPartyJarV3.1.jar] (Can't process class [g.class] (Unknown verification type [10] in stack map frame))
I have successfully built apks in release mode for other projects (which doesn't have this jar file.)
It seems to be an issue around proguard not being able to read this class in the jar. I have looked through ProGuard's trouble shooting manual and also on google and found no help with this particular error:
Code:
(Unknown verification type [10] in stack map frame)
I also updated proguard from V4.7 to 4.10, but it still encounters the same error.
To my little mind it seems to be a problem with the jar itself and if so how do I fix it? Any help would be appreciated. TIA!
[P.S: I'm new to android]

A simple library that lets you control your Raspberry Pi from the web

Hey guys, I wrote a simple library that lets you control your Raspberry Pi. It wraps popular I/O libraries like RPi.GPIO so you can use them server-side and has an easy way to build user interfaces. More information can be found here.
A full tutorial
Server side source
Client side source
Control your rpi over nat via http
The hopmsg.com allows you the make a free message channel by creating a random key for free (no registration, login, etc) which can be used to get status / send command to your rpi:
1, Simplest way to Send/Receive message from any kind of OS/browser/platform just by clicking on a link, only need to know the ID of your msg!
Example: set your message by opening a link : hopmsg.com/ctl.php?id=YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY&value=message
get your message from any device by opening: hopmsg.com/ctl.php?id=YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY
or use the Android App to get/set it.
2, Control your device inside Nat/Lan
Example: set your command by opening a link : hopmsg.com/ctl.php?id=YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY&value=command
get your command from any device by opening: hopmsg.com/ctl.php?id=YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY
or use the Android App to get/set it.
3, Basic monitoring system
Bash script checking uptime:
UP=`uptime | sed -e 's/ /_/g'`; curl "hopmsg.com/ctl.php?id=YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY&value=`echo ${UP}`"
and use the Android App or a browser to check the status of the device.
4, Get your IP address, the message source, poor man's dyndns
If you set some values, with src=1 parameter your IP and the UTC time also added to your message
Example:
hopmsg.com/ctl.php?id=YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY&value=VALUE&src=1
wget -qO- hopmsg.com/ctl.php?id=YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY > result.txt
to use with some script.
Re
on hopmsg.com now embedded keys can be used to create complex message or status report like:
ROOTKEY="My IOT dev. overview: uptime:|MY_UPTIME_KEY|, freespace:|MY_FREESPACE_KEY| end."
each key can be updated separately with https
a little bit like the pi html5 dashboard maybe ?

[APKMULTITOOL] Error when signing (sign apk with android market 13 & 7 zip, sign, in)

[APKMULTITOOL] Error when signing (sign apk with android market 13 & 7 zip, sign, in)
Hello folks, I have stumbled upon a small problem using APKMultiTool ...
When I try to sign my apk (It's a unity apk meaning I only edited 1 of the dll files.) It fails.
The error it gives me, even in log (26) is useless.
Code:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
|26-07-2018 -- 13:55:05,73|
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
java version "10.0.2" 2018-07-17
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 18.3 (build 10.0.2+13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 18.3 (build 10.0.2+13, mixed mode)
Press any key to continue . . .
I do have the environment path for system, directed to my JDK java path.
The APKMultiTool is opened with Administrator and it's at root(c:\APKMultiTool) <
Heres the code it gives me at the end of option 7: (zip, sign & install)
Code:
Compressing res\layout\com_facebook_placepickerfragment_list_row.xml
Compressing res\layout\com_facebook_search_bar_layout.xml
Compressing res\layout\com_facebook_tooltip_bubble.xml
Compressing res\layout\com_facebook_usersettingsfragment.xml
Everything is Ok
Signing Apk
Usage: signapk [-w] publickey.x509[.pem] privatekey.pk8 input.jar output.jar
"An Error Occurred, Please Check The Log (option 26)"
The error afterwards in the log file and when using 26, is still the same.
Now I'm going to just try to sign the unsigned apk. First the one that was just zipped.
I do this with option 13: Sign apk with android market
Code:
Please make your decision:13
*Notice this option requires you to have the Java JDK installed before this option will function*
*Notice you need to go into your Environment Variables and set the path to your JAVA_HOME*
*For example define it as C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_43 as a system variables slot not the User Variables*
Press any key to continue . . .
Signing Apk
Only one alias can be specified
Please type jarsigner -help for usage
"An Error Occurred, Please Check The Log (option 26)"
I am unable to type jarsigner -help, in CMD it does not exist as a command, and in APKMT it closes the prompt. The log file and 26 gives me the same error text so far, meaning it was not even updated.
(Note: I open ALL prompts as Administator, also APKMT)
I am at a complete loss...
Would be really grateful for input :3 thanks a lot.
-EDIT-
Am unable to install unsigned apk on rooted bluestacks 3n device. :3
... I found out that if I used the new tool
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...tool-apk-easy-tool-v1-02-windows-gui-t3333960
APK Easy Tool, everything became more organized and much easier to work with. I got it working and are happy to say that my first mod was succesful, yay.
Happy modding everyone
For reference, the apk I modded was Galactic Rush for Android

What should I do if the tool package fails to run when I integrate the HUAWEI AppGallery Connect SDK to Eclipse?

BackgroundI had recently planned on integrating the Crash SDK to my app. However, my app was developed through Eclipse and the integration process was different from that in Android Studio.
By referring to the official materials, I downloaded the tool package and used it to generate an Eclipse project package.
However, when the build.bat file in the aar2eclipse/aar directory was executed according to the procedures in the document, an error was reported in the command line. The error information was as follows:
FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
* What went wrong:
Task ' assembleRelease ' not found in root project ' aar '.
Problem Reoccurring1. I first thought that the problem might be caused by my company's intranet. But when I connected to the Internet, the problem remained unsolved.
2. Then I guessed that it might have something to do with the Android development environment.
I borrowed a colleague's PC to execute the build.bat file, and it that did the trick. Therefore, I was able to conclude that the problem was caused by incorrect configurations in the Android development environment. I compared the configurations on the two PCs and found that the environment variables were different. ANDROID_HOME was missing from the environment variables on my PC.
CauseHuawei's Eclipse tool package is unable to run properly and reports an error without the ANDROID_HOME variable.
Solution: Right-click This PC and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. In the displayed dialog box, click the Advanced System Settings tab and then click Environment Variables. In the System Variables dialog box, create a new ANDROID_HOME parameter.
Set the value to the installation path of the local Android SDK, and the problem will be resolved, as shown below.

Question how to use perfetto (or any equivalent known to mankind) offline ON ANDROID to READ a system trace

so I have been searching everything I could think of on the internet trying to figure out how to read a system trace natively made by Android 13 on my Pixel 6 on the phone itself because I'm not with my computer and can't use it and it doesn't seem to be possible. now there's a web page application but it requires that you be connected to the internet and requires that your system traces be minuscule tiny or that you learn how to use an Android phone without a graphic user interface because I'm sorry My bad I'm not a programmer I don't really want to be and they want me to code something into my browser on my phone I don't even know how to do that just so that I can open a file as large as the trace I made I just want to figure out why my phone is doing something that it shouldn't be doing(several somethings actually randomly failing to allow internet connection to my Xbox beta app randomly shutting down screen recordings in the middle and booting my screen black and kicking me out of Android so that I have to log back in randomly running a work profile I didn't install the list goes on) so I can stop it from doing that please if anyone out there knows anyway at all on this Earth to open and read a file who's extension is perfetto-Trace without plugging into a computer just like you know on my phone I swear to God I'll do anything I'm begging you please help a ***** out cuz this girl is on her last ragged edged nerve over all this it's too much for one girl to figure out
perfetto is an open source tool provided by google. you can download the binaries they already provided for android. you can download your device specific binaries
Release Perfetto v35.0 · google/perfetto
v35.0 - 2023-06-07: Tracing service and probes: * Compression has been moved from perfetto_cmd to traced. Now compression is supported even with write_into_file. The `compress_from_cli`...
github.com
you need to install a terminal emulator , I suggest the Termux from fdroid.
then setup and initialize everything in Termux (I can't explain now, you can google it)
the from the extracted zip file of perfetto binaries, copy them to termux
``cp -r [directory path of the extracted] .``
``cd [directory name of the extracted] ``
The supported output formats are:
text - protobuf text format: a text based representation of protos
json - Chrome JSON format: the format used by chrome://tracing systrace: the ftrace text format used by Android systrace
Converting to systrace text format
./traceconv systrace [input proto file] [output systrace file]
example, systrace format are more human readable and easier
./traceconv systrace sample-trace.perfetto-trace sample-trace.systrace
Same way,
Converting to Chrome Tracing JSON format which is so familiar
./traceconv json [input proto file] [output json file]
is this way it will give a human readable output. now you can view output with a text editor
although reading a big file of 50-100MB May not be possible because of chunk issue. but Mostly it will show otherwise no hope. there's very limited tools out there
You can inbox me if you need assistance.
