[Q] where i can get CyanogenMod7 for SGS2? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am looking for rom CyanogenMod7 for my SGS2 (samsung galaxy s2)
where i can get it?

From the search button or just try looking in the Development section .
Or even go as far as looking in the Q&A section >> hint its right under this post .

Epicly retarded post. IT'S RIGHT BENEATH THE POST YOU JUST MADE. >:/

One would get worried about a poster who wants a rom that's advanced and seems to be unable to read .
Next post help CM7 broke my phone .

[Q] How to root SIII

Hi all,
I want to root my Samsung SIII and tried to look for information, but I am lost with so much thread to read and not sure which one is current.
Could someone please give me a direction where I should begin?
I have a Samsung SIII model SGH-T999 with Android version 4.1.1
Thanks,
Tri
Use the search button in the future.
The thread is sufficiently popular for it to appear in Google (since the in-forum search has been disabled).

1. Post questions in the Q&A section, otherwise the police will be here soon
2. Look at the stickies and especially at the FAQ thread in the Q&A section, anything described there.
wow. there's a link to the rooting guide on the main page of the i9300 forum.

Start with the sticky top of the page .
Find the correct forum for your phone first .
You do not have I9300 .

[Q] help me to root my device

i am new to root samsung device and plz help me to root my samsun galaxy s 2??
provide me with a lik where i can get a better way to root and install roms
You're posting in the wrong forum section. This is for the Galaxy S, not the S II.
You can find the Galaxy S II forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2
What version/model do you have. Is it an i9100. Check on back of the phone under the battery

Apparantly the thead has been moved to the correct section
You had posted it in the I9000 General section but them mods silently moved it to the correct section
At this moment this Google search shows the original location of your post.
Good luck getting your device rooted!

There are several s2 phones, and before we begin dispensing advice, it would be helpful to know which s2 you have.
The best way to find out is in system settings: about phone: model number.
If you remove the battery, the model number can be found there as well.
In this page you can find a good way for root your s2 It worked for me.
