Quadrant is a popular benchmark app used on Android devices...
Quadrant Booster is a simple app which boosts quadrant score... (using the i/o hack posted by zdzihu)
both quadrant standard & advanced are supported
u can click on the BOOST button to activate hack, and click on the DEACTIVATE button to deactivate hack...
the hack gets deactivated on each boot

[ troubleshooting ]
try rebooting the device if the app doesnt start
make sure that Quadrant app is closed (not even running in background) before clicking on BOOST/DEACTIVATE (use task killer/system panel)
if it still doesnt work post the logcat
Sorry for being a noob here but what exactly is a quadrant, in other words what does this app actually boost
does it really boost or just change the numbers? ans is it dangerous??

first of all u need to hav a rom dat supports overclocking...
i use cyanogenmod 7.1.....
if u hav da sme... go to settings>>cyanogen mod settings>>performance>>and da 1st option....
if u hav sum oder rom dat supports overclocking...
go to market and search for overclocking.......

You need a custom Kernel to do it.

1) ingore the "changing libs" stuff
2) download the apk from the link and install the it like any other app
3) reboot your phone and thats it

I could do it faraz, thanks!! I'm from spain and there are some channels I can see quite well but lot more which I can't see... Image frozen, not image yes sound... does it works for you always? everychannel? and for games? could you tell me any page to test it, or something to improve its performance? thanks man!!

Your flash is working like it should.....yes there are many things we can't do like watch videos in high quality and play some high end online games this is because of our hardware
You can try to watch your channels in the lowest quality availaible

I dont know about the channels but in youtube you can watch videos in 240p smoothly there should be some other method for your channel

Hey guys...
I would like to share with you how I overclocked my xperia active to 1.8 Ghz !!!
Installation
Firstly, You must unlock your bootloader ...
Secondly, Download Mesa V2.4 karnel for your phone...
Download and Install Flashtool ( When instalation completed ... You MUST install flashmode and fastboot drivers !!! )
Flash your kernel with flashmode by tapping and holding the + volume buttom while you are connecting the USB connector ....
Now you can flash any Rom you like with CMW .....!!! ( I Love his custom Rom so I recomment it ... )
Boot your phone ... and Download via play store "AnTuTu CPU Master (Free)" or any other application you like ....
Open your application .... it wants super user permission ( SU is pre installed in the kernel If not root your phone ) .. '
so accept that and change cpu's frequency to 1804 Mhz ...( not to 2016Mhz !!! )
Finally.... you have now a super phone with almost double speed !!!!

i installed succesfully the brains rom and it works perfectly. the tutorial said that i had to flash a governors zip too after the installation and i did it, but after the system boot i can't find any app to use this governors... can anybody explain me how to use them.
