My own custom, personal/private LPP widgets and CM7 theme, almost completely stock gingerbread, mostly to theme widgets and correct third party apps not having v9/gb style stat icons, menu icons, etc.

Yes, the sync icon and GPS signal icons have been animated with the t-mo theme engine (crappy gifs of the sync animations:
)
Along with theming the default keyboard the way I like it too (also done with the theme engine)

Oh Sonique....your pretty.

By using the theme manager. There are some really great themes on XDA and in the market. I also use ADW EX to customize the dock... get icons from XDA or I use Simple Text (app) to create text icons... walls from the internet.. I use trigger (cm7 base) to customize the colors in the status bar and use the miui battery bar.

I also use the theme manager. Really like it. Currently using the Iron Man theme. I call it Iron Mandroid. Once you see it you'd know what I mean. I found it very creative.

I'm in love with the Crystal theme for CM7, you can find it over at the android general section.
*slightly of topic* how would you go about making slight modifications to current themes? can you use UOT kitchen? or manuality pull out the framework.apk files and applying the changes?

I don't have CM7, but am really curious to see what this theme looks like. Can you post some screen shots? Do you think some colors can be changed for a War Machine version?

i got it working after installing latest version
can you tell what are the working themes for cyonogen6.1.2 and V4.3 #398
how can i go back to original theme after installing custom theme?
And, if you have used the images that someone else has created, then remember to give them credit
As for the theme, it could be good, but right now it just looks half-done and unfinnished wich is kind of bad if you want to use the phone every day.
I did use the download icon from someone else so I don't take credit for that

As you probably know 2.1 doesn't support custom widgets in statusbar and needs lge-res.apk, so am not going to port it, sorry.

Awesome, Just flashed this and its working great. Can't wait to see the red theme with the 1% batter mod.
Thanks!
Also for anyone who doesn't want the animations, you can just turn them off using spare parts as well. Thats what I did as I'm never the biggest fan of animations.
I've got to say.... I was totally sold on your Stock Motoblur with 1% battery mod theme until I saw this one!!! Holy crap man, you nailed it with this theme.... All that Orange and White, I definitely have to shout out to my alma mater on this - GO TIGERS!

(MIUI)[THEME] Honeycomb updated 8/17

Everyone knows and likes Honeycomb.
*I added a few new things like different style Buttons, removed the bottom of the statusbar notifications (I think it looks elegant like that)
*new toggle switches at the bottom
*fancier Statusbar w/ honeycombs on sides
*different Dialer
*Added a different bootanimation (not made by me)
Here's some close-ups of main things different from original Honeycomb

Nice colors and a great feel for the rom.
Great work Annex1,
This theme looks just great for the MIUI.
I had tried the MIUI recently, and it is not your dadys smart phone type of Rom.
This theme complements the complexity of the MIUI very well.
Nice colors and a great feel for the rom.
Would love to have that phone dialer ported over to the 2.2 roms, such a beauty!
Great Job.
i would love this on cm7

To complete the bluish Honeycomb look could you make the long battery bar across the top blue instead of green?
MIUI ReVamPed/Glitch on my Vibrant
+1001 on the Annex honeycomb theme for CM7!
can i request a few changes on this theme please? the white backgrounds on phone, sms. and the highlight whats orange in calendar turned to dark blue to match. tweak the blue in calculator to go with theme? think that would make this theme look beautiful

CM7 Theming - Atrix Devs

Any Atrix devs out there working on CM7 themes? I'm trying to put a few things together and am running into some snags along the way. I've gotta say its better than trying to straight mod the frameworks like back in the old days but its got its troubles. Any help would be appreciated.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
Why go through the work of themeing the framework-res, systemui, etc. when you can use one of a few hundred theme chooser themes?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1167075
I at least started by picking a theme I somewhat liked, and customized it to my own taste.
I do have one framework-res & systemui edit for CM7 that I use... changed the notification colors.
That's what I'm working on too, a theme Chooser theme. I'm trying to determine just what the limitations are with it. I downloaded templatebread, which is more or less a full image set for CM7 and all the necessary code to build it is a theme Chooser theme. I've also found some ways to mod text styles with it but am having trouble theming the volume bar and lockscreen icons. Here is a taste of what's together so far:

Many themes have "morphs" that does that. You need those files plus an app called metamorph or an app that does the same task. Many of those on the market.
