That is not possible as framework in cm6 is modified so to change color using spare parts I tried and wasted an entire day messing around work decompiled apk's and jar's also tried colorchangerv3.jar posted somewhere at xda it didn't work but it wool definitely work on touchwiz framework and is pretty easy to use.
Finally I remembered of a version of spare parts included in some version of indroid ROM (bt the color changing functionality didn't work on indroid because of touchwiz framework) googled it and it worked.

Nice
Great!
Happy to see so many themes
Thank you! I will try it soon!
Look great!
Nice work..
Edit: why not make it a general theme for any rom?
Kyrillos used JPM so it should work on almost all the custom roms currently being developed as they are JPM based
Very nice good job!
will this theme work on indroid 3.0.....???
Can someone please upload just the frameworkres.apk and twframeworkres.apk from this theme..?

Touchwiz3 packed with touchwiz4 icons

Hello,
I have made Custom Touchwiz 3.0 (replaced Touchwiz 3.0 icons with Touchwiz 4.0), looks great
Instructions [Root your phone & install busybox]
Copy and replace all .apk files to sd card/app and reboot
SCREENSHOTS
Customised TW further with transparent background icons , try this it should work with all froyo roms
For deodexed roms use RootedLP4
i made it too XD,very nice
gives a bootloop in indroid 4.2
had to adb push touchwiz launcher inorder to boot......
pls take a backup of your files that are about to be overwritten
works great^^ test it again on xwjpf and jpn
I have just done it but you were faster so I wont post
Should work great on all froyo roms although not tested on all roms

It's nice with those icons, but is there a change you could remove those backgrounds behind the other icons? (the color ones?)

Hmmm.. I made it just from that twlauncher which was in the first post and switched app drawer backtabs to transparent... It took about 5 minutes to copy them from another twlauncher which is fully transparent. Didn't test it so don't know what is the problem.
Edit: Oups, didn't notice that drnishant123 made his own, working version.

{MOD} ( Theme) Black Menus V2

Here we have a black menu mod. Its sense 3.0 with gingerbread 2.3.4, with the look of original gingerbread that brought the black menu.
In theory it should work for any gingerbread 2.3.4 sense 3.0 Evo 3D rom. This has only been tested with Steel rom's and shogun roms.
If it works for you please let me kno.
It is a black menu with grey text. There are some new menus that are now grey. Some menu's are still white and shows light grey text. That'll be fixed soon.
Wipe cache and davalik then flash the zip in recovery. Do a nandroid just in case i am not responsible if anything happens to your device. Works for me this is your warning tho.
if it works for you please comment which rom you used it with.
What's New:
More Menu's updated
Future Updates:
Make all apps compatible with mod .. some apps still have white background

Yeah, the black menu is a png, but the white text is a smali file (i dont even know which one). You'd have to decompile framework or system ui (whichever one the PNG for menu was in, I think SystemUI), then look through the smalis and edit one of them using Android-Utility , APK manager, and/or APKTool

Here are orange themed SystemUI and framework-res. I made these from the April 12 nightly. I'm not sure if they will work with any other versions of CM9. Definitely make a nandroid backup before you try them. You can push them via adb or copy them to /system/app/SystemUI.apk and /system/framework/framework.res.apk using something like Root Explorer. If you use something like Root Explorer mount the folder read/write, copy the files, and make sure the permissions are rw-r--r-- like the other files in those folder. Then, simply reboot.
I'm not sure if I'll get around to ever theming any more stuff orange, but it can't hurt to let me know stuff I missed or did wrong.
Enjoy!

Updated!
Updated for the 20120418 official nightly...and zipaligned this time
SystemUI.apk - It adds a new set of battery icons with a little keyboard. I assume that is for when you have an external keyboard attached.
Trebuchet.apk (NEW) - Orange theme added for homescreens and appdrawer. It also replaces the blue architecture wallpaper with an orangified version. It's pretty hideous though. I'll try to come up with something better at some point.
framework-res.apk - Now available and hopefully working too. I've never had any success copy/pasting framework-res. I always have to use adb.

No worries. I'm not really sure I'll be able to keep up with updating this anyway. It's kind of a pain. Hopefully, CM9 Reloaded will support tablets soon.
The newest nightly has Theme Chooser for CM9. Hopefully, someone will make an orange theme. I don't yet know how to make Theme Chooser themes.

Anyone Know How to Change the Color of the Battery and Notification Toggles?

Sorry for the noob question. This morning, I tried to fool around with system/app/systemui.apk using ninjamorph, but I kept messing stuff up and having to restore from my TWRP backup. Any ideas?

Thanks for the advice. It led me to search for more info on 7zip and I found this post:

As for editing xml values you can simply copy the xml file out and edit it using your favourite editor and then copy them back in.
Hope I was able to help some OS X users.
/edit By the way, this method (WinRar or muCommander) also works for editing update.zip. This means you can customise the rom (add/remove system apks, change the boot animation etc) before you flash it.
The one thing I'm having trouble with is the green bars on the bottom of the notification toggles. I can't find where they're at.
