Yeah, I have the same Opinion it looks for me like a downgrade from Sense, but in the end is another variation of Sense like the versions from the Mytouch

Cool, good to know. I think its hard to say whether or not it is a "downgrade" until I get a chance to use it and see how extensive the changes are. Either way, it would be cool to have something new to mess around with.
not exactly a downgrade ever heard of mysense? for mytouch 4g etc... this is a new tmobie interface for sense pretty crappy not what real sense 3.5 will look like

Perhaps its more universal because it is more lightweight and efficient, not necessarily because it is a "downgrade."

No one really knows completely since there have been no real announcements.
I actually think the sense 3.5 we have been seeing is a bliss specific rom kinda like mysense on thr mytouch phones.

actually what the rumor is its a slimmed down version of 3.0 for lower end HTC phones but still keeps the lockscreen, etc.

if it'll be ready...for some reason my phone hangs at the splash screen when trying to get into recovery from bootloader menu...
and I cant find my micro sd card converter...gonna have to use my evo 4g to get a recovery on my sd card...ugh pain in my ass

As a huge HTC Sense fan, it pains me to agree completely. I really hope it's the skin for the bliss & not the base look of 3.5.
I cant believe no one has started a sense 3.5 rom yet...im excited for one!! Hopefully Virus gets on one for his next release

Agreed looks terrible, seriously what was htc thinking. ill stick to sense 3.0 look at the sheer beauty of it! I also think more are focused on miui and aosp.

Ugly?!?? U obviously havent had the pleasure of seeing or using it first hand..its beautiful and is a great update to sense 3.0 and actually has alot of 3.0 features just improved...I guess ill just wait and see if V does something with it

what youve seen is definetely not stock sense 3.5 and its not what evo 3d will be updated to the version of sense 3.5 leaked from the bliss is a heavily themed version of what stock 3.5 is supposed to look like it was themed to appeal to woman it is basically the doubleshot ui on sense 3.5 its what tmobile call mysense....and yes it looks very ugly idk what tmobile was even thinking

I decided to stop because unlike the doubleshot port it cant be resized since i havent been able to decompile the apks in the m10 editor to resize them....

I know its mysense..but i still like it..appeal to a woman? what are u trying to say? i know its not anything the evo 3d will update to but its nice for a change and worth a port...im sure alot of people will like it..look at the interest in the bliss port on the 4g evo..

I've heard we'll be getting Sense 4.0 with the official ICS OTA. I would assume they'll incorporate some stuff to make it more ice cream sandwichy
I am hoping that. After seeing the sensation leak it made me worry a bit. I kind of like big Makeovers.

Yeah, the Sensation leak was, well, kind of ugly. I think Sense looks better than AOSP. I just like the way that AOSP functions in general. It would be nice if we could get the ICS functionality with the look of Sense, plus some more little goodies.

I just read somewhere else that it appears they're working on ICS for 3.5. That would be horribly disappointing. New devices they've announced (the quad core ones, for example) seem to be the ones that will be getting Sense 4.0 with ICS. I just hope they realize we want 4.0, as well and give it to us on the OTA.

Hence the fragmentation of Sense... I guarantee we'll be getting a 3.5 version of ICS. They did the same thing with the EVO which never got out of Sense 1.0. That's why we root right?? I'm still stock but I'll pop her cherry when the right rom comes.

Agreed. I'm not terribly worried since I'll get a new phone before the OTA comes (if the HTC quad-core phones are out), or we'll already have some ICS with a rom. You should check out Chingy and Newt's rom, btw. This thing is awesome
I'm back to the Rez from the Nex. Soo glad! I hope to see the app grouping which from the leak appears to be there.
Also the voice to text and auto correction from ICS ****ing rules! I love the stock Sense keyboard. The ICS Android keyboard and I have spacebar issues!
How bout a redesigned weather widget?? HTC set the mark for the weather widget. Time to bring it back home!

Seeing as it's the first build, there are some minor issues and things that just won't work yet. That being said, I've never seen a more polished and sexy rom in a first build ever. I've seen some v4+ that aren't as nice as this thing is. If you get flash happy, give it a go since you won't be disappointed. If you can wait a little bit, let them get the bugs out. Something beyond amazing would have to pull me away from this rom.

Yeah I from what I hear from the Sensation guys the fact this is nvidia Tegra 3 vs qualcomm we are can make it a bit harder to work on(even harder for the sensation guys as they have to downsize things too).

I was disappointed in seeing that it was for a tegra device... but I am hoping that it will not be too difficult. But it seems it will be too difficult to worry with. Maybe pulling the apks for sense 4.0 apps and using them in the existing android 4.0.3 ROMs will work though.
According to Joel in his ROM thread, this won't be done. The Endeavor and the Rezound are too different.

Well, dev's have successfully ported over some sense ROM's with higher versions of android and Sense Software. Can someone manage to port over Sense 1.0, like the OG EVO has ATM. I am willing to test everything out, it can't be that hard, right?
Sense 1.0 was the original sense on the HTC hero I believe and was android 1.5

You know what? I thought of that a longgg time ago but never said anything cuz I thought I'd get flamed lol...that would be really interesting though I wonder how the battery would be too
I don't believe any version of sense below 3.0 was made for qhd devices. Therefore to port an older version of sense would require a lot of re-sizing and m10 editing I believe. I think someone would have to be really dedicated to the project to put in the time required. That being said, I think sense 2.1 would run extremely well on this phone. The downsides would be that you'd have to run gingerbread, you'd lose some features, and of course the tedious re-sizing of many of the images. The idea is interesting though!

what about just using an AOSP rom? you get 4.0, NO overlay (so faster), and there are already people working on it.

IMO a monumental waste of good development time that can be better spent with ICS and soon to be JellyBean. We did everything we could to get rid of it on the Hero as fast as possible. We ported 3.5 and never looked back.

Kinda agree with nineinch and drachen. If u really want to go that far back just use a senseless Rom. The android 1.5 and sense 1.0 is really such a step back that aosp should give u the speed your looking for and actually look better. And I am a huge sense fan saying this

I've thought about pulling down the Donut branch from AOSP and testing it on these modern devices.
It was arguably the fastest Android flavor ever. I remember going to Eclair from Donut and feeling let down by the speed, requiring a faster processor.
