You said that you get (!) when flashing something from sd card, right???
Copy update.zip to some other sd card and try to flash from it.
Here're steps for flashing rom with fastboot:
Go to fastboot mod by clicking 3 times power button and volume down button when toshiba logo appear. Then, connect you tablet to computer via usb(if you don't have drivers-for windows and if you don't have fastboot binary-linux and mac go here). Now, unpack update.zip file in some directory. Then, open terminal, go to that directory(from terminal-cd /path-to-that-directory/) and type this(to erase system partition):

fastboot erase system
then type this(to flash system partition)
Code:
fastboot flash system system.img
This to flash kernel partition:
Code:
fastboot flash linux boot.img
and this to flash recovery partition:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
At the end, erase date and cache:

fastboot -w
You can flash all at once:

fastboot flash all
(I'm not sure for this, I never tried this one)
Play a little and you might fix your tablet

Jon i cant flash HC 3.04. I did all your indications in your post and my screen stay black when initiate the rom.
I never had a problem with other roms but with 3.04 yes.

With what method you tried? Erase system partition(fastboot erase system) and flash update.zip

Make sure you have both j4fs and param loaded. Mount /mnt/.lfs before loading param. Also you must patch kernel (patch is in the other thread)

Hi used xd.bx recovery and also grafic.c and fstab i any one can try show me dmesg (grep -i param grep -i j4fs)
this solve that issue via modifying param and j4fs drivers
Any one can flash this recovery and give me
dmesg (grep -i param grep -i j4fs) log in .txt and PM me this is for resolving the problem thank you
Flashed this via Odin. Every time I try to reboot it just reboots straight into recovery. Good first attempt, though.

Hi,
Make sure you use the kernel from my recovery and that your recovery.rc mounts /mnt/.lfs before inserting param.ko. Afaik these are the only two requirements to fix the "reboot into recovery loop" problem.
in half of February I go back to my 2nd pc it works better that the dinausaure I have between hand actuely I look has its place once the meantime if one wants to devote himself to advance the project is the welcome actualy I run pc with some hardawre lost ( no keyboard , and have big problem with java and flash
PS: why in half of february because my 2nd pc are in another country ( africa )
First of all congrats in the devs for this achievement.
I'm getting pms about people that are flashing this custom recoverys and messing their devices pretty good ,some of them thinking that this is just root!
Once you install this recoverys the device will not be be same, you will loose your warranty etc, it will always show System status As Custom!
So far there is no clear way of reverting to original status.
Also after installing custom recoverys some users end up with a soft-brick after going back to official and is not easy to the average user to bring it back to life.
Make sure you post a proper description of this files and what they will to to users devices,allot of users do not understand what this is and just flash it anyway!
Also for those devs that are working in custom recoverys ,Try to find a way of reverting the device to a proper working state and post such info,after all you know more about it that me.
People are assuming that this is like older devices that you could just flash the custom kernel to acquire root,well this aint just a custom kernel.

I have briked phone by instaling rom and not this recovery this recovery don't brick any device you have bootlop to recovery now user talk about brick by installing recovery is another one just see in thread dev section and find is non complet recovery now in this thread need only i decompile recovery.img and aplying patche into boot.sh now the recovery see only 1 boot ( into recovey ) when patch are done get reovery like CWM but diferance are in touche I have used corect files now in first post we have WARRNING IN RED and also in BIG letter and the warning talk about this recovery at this stage is only for devlopper user know how to etc etc

You really expect users to know how to recompile the recovery image!? Did you post such info? No
My statement stands.
I never said that recovery's bricked the devices,I said that it modefys the device in a manner that is causing problems.

CWM recovery is included in kernel [in Xperia devices], so if you want a cwm, just flash a custom kernel (through flashtool).
consider that the kernel must be compatible with your ROM
If I can remember well there was a script written in shell to install CWM from Linux, just open the terminal and change to the directory where CWM files are and type:

It's simply. You must flash boot.img or kernel.elf.
First install fastboot (on Ubuntu 13.10)
sudo apt-get install android-tools-fastboot.
Second move boot.img or kernel.elf in home.
Open terminal:
sudo fastboot flash boot boot.img (or kernel.elf).
It's the best way

Is there a possibility to go into the recovery mode without using hardware keys or apps in a ROM?
Situation:
Download mode with odin works.
Power button destroyed.
Volume up + Home button brings no effect.
If it starts, it boots to ROM-Splash and seems to stuck in a bootloop.
Flashed Custom ROMs and Stock ROM, 1 and 3 parted - no success.
Is there a way to force the I9100 to boot into the recovery without Apps, Android or hardware keys?
In best, out of download mode with odin, like "odin force reboot"-tar file.
You can use adb. I think there is command like fastboot reboot recovery or something like thah

adb oder fastboot reboot recovery does not work - impossible to get a connection to device.
Isn't it possible to write a tar file and flash it via Odin that lets the device start into recovery next time?
I was never doing so. I don't use Odin too often, to get learn more I'm trying to do staff using adb... Hmmmm..... Were you trying to just flash stock kernel? Or kernel with philz? (Btw have you seen somewhere unsecured kernel with twrp same as stock? Share link if you had plx)
For this tar file... I think it's quite possible so search further.
P.S. I'm quite sure that I read that you can get out of such brick with adb but I forget how...

No, always flashed 1 or 3 parted stuck ROM.
You think about formatting internal SD with pit-file and flash stock kernel from 3-parted stock ROM?
I don't remember where I could find it.
Would be a try, I think, whether it boots only into recovery after flashing.
I remember once, I flashed a kernel with CWM and that happend.
But never again.

ADB: I can't a a connection to the device, that's the problem. Else I could use adb reboot recovery to get into recovery and flash a new ROM, wiping, etc.
But I can't geht into recovery.
I really need such a script.
It is possible to create odin-friendly tar-files, but I don't know what to put in so it boots into recovery afterwards.
Any guide or walkthrough to revert to complete stock Miui !
Things i have done to my Cancro :
1.Extended Partition 1.2 GB
2.Running Omni 6.0
Repartiton does work but i have read it still gives error in Miflash if anyone has sorted that or returned to complete stock from Custom Roms please guide me.
I want to get to complete stock and then flash a Kernel to use with that!

It will detect even without the repartition. But if u revert back to stock, u wont face error while doing fastboot ROM. Else, u will
You can flash fastboot ROM on extended partition. Just open the bat file to flash instead of using any software

Extract the tgz fastboot ROM. Now you can see 3 bat files, flash all, flash all without storage and flash all without data storage.
Quite while back when I tried MiFlash, it didn't work, don't remember what was the exact reason but I think it was not detecting.
So simply connect your phone in fastboot mode and open the bat file you want, to flash the ROM.
Flash All will complete wipe including internal storage and flash.
The other 2 files are same which will flash without wiping internal storage.
Just as I did earlier for my moto e is it.Just run the .bat file

Nothing is needed just use the bat file. I used the bat file just recently to flash 6.0 based MIUI on extended partition.

If you experience something like "size mismatch / not enough space" then you need to delete the system1 word from bat file. Dunno about newest bat file but last month and before, all bat file flash both system & system1 so it will error when flashing system1 as we know extended partition change the system1 to some MB
And also flashing fastboot won't refert ur partition to stock
I'll follow the below steps :
1.Flash CWM
2.Flash Stock Repartition
3.Clear Data/Cache on Both new systems formed.
4.Power off phone.
5.Reboot to Fastboot.
6.Flash through .bat file.
Do I need to flash a os or straight connect directly to fastboot and flash .bat file.

I need time of someone who help me how to make update.zip for stock rom because i corrupt .xml file in /etc/theme and i wont give it back (i have backup).
I try too adb but it say ,,unauthorized" and I can't boot to system.
My phone is Acer Z520 8GB rom.

Do you have a backup of the file, or of the whole ROM? Also, if it says unauthorized it is because of the adb key. Do you have TWRP or other custom recovery with a file manager?

I don't have your device, but if there is a working custom recovery, you should be able to flash it safely with flashify app from the playstore. Once you get TWRP or other custom recovery installed adb will work be default. (While in recovery)
Then you can move your backup xml to it's original location and chmod 0644.

Just realized your device won't boot so flashify won't help. My apologies. We could flash it with dd commands, but if adb is unauthorized, you won't be able to get shell.
