Smoochiezz's Sweet! Swypes
Are you tired of that ugly gray swype? Ugh, so was I. Wish you could add a pop of color to it? Well look no further. I present to you my Sweet! Swypes. Featuring every color of the rainbow with some in varying shades. You can't go wrong. I plan on publishing several different Series/Styles. Each series will feature 8 colors, all other colors will be completed upon request. If you have an idea for a keyboard let me know. I can get you a preview and then go from there. I made these for personal use but there's no harm in sharing ;-)
*As of right now, noone has been able to theme the swype trace for the beta version. Once it is possible, every package will be updated with its respective trail color.

Directions To Apply
*If this is not your first time using a morph of mine, just morph right over top of the previous.
No need to delete your current apk on your sd card, not even the signed one.
Only do so if you are having problems.*
*Open up your chosen file explorer. Navigate to \data\app\ and locate the com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk ( If you choose to use Es you will have to go into Settings>Tick Root Explorer Box)
*Copy the Swype apk to the root of your sdcard. (The theme will only take if the apk is in the root.)
*Go to Metamorph and select "Unzip/Extract New Theme"
*Navigate to wherever you downloaded your chosen theme to. (If you downloaded from the Xda App, it will be located in /sdcard/tapatalk_download/ I have Xda Premium and this is where mine is located)
*You will be presented with a preview and you may now choose "Apply All". Congrats! You have themed your Swype. Now onto signing and install!
*You Must sign the zip or else you will get constant force closes. Thats where ZipSigner2 helps. So let's open that up.
*Push the "Choose In/Out" button at the top and find the com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk in the root of your sd card.
*Your output should now read /sdcard/com.swype.android.inputmethod-1-signed.apk
*Leave the key mode on "auto-testkey" and Sign The File.
*Before going further, you should make a backup of your data with Titanium Backup or your preserver program of choice. This will collect your personal dictionary for late use. Now uninstall Swype (not the Installer, This step is not mandatory but is recommended to prevent any errors so just do it : ) )
*Using your file explorer, now install the signed swype. (There will be two on your sdcard. The themed one and the themed signed one. Make sure you install the one with "-signed.apk" at the end. If you choose the other one, you WILL get force closes)
*Go to the "Swype Installer" program and activate and choose swype.
*The final and most CRUCIALLLLLLLL step of them all.......ENJOY!
Known Errors With MetaMorph
The most common problem that you might face is getting a "The theme you have selected is invalid because the theme control file could be missing or is not correctly written." when you are extracting a theme. This is not a problem with my themes but with MetaMorph. Though it gives you an error and close, it still extracted the theme. Just go back into MetaMorph, (it will likely crash), go back into it and then hit "Pick Existing Theme" at the bottom. Find the folder name of the theme you just extracted and apply as normal.
For some reason the preview doesn't show if you extract a theme and immediately apply it. It only shows when you already extracted and then choose under "Pick Existing Theme". Not a big issue but these are the two known bugs pertaining to Metamorph.
Requests & Formats
Taken requests and ideas. Any of the Series can be modded to a specific color. If you want a custom color give me a sample. An HTML code, hex, sumthn 'kay. Refer to the following rough draft image to see the different aspects that may be themed. (I know its a bit jarringly bright but i was working on a girly theme when i uploaded it). If you do submit a request, please list the five colors and their corresponding titles. All requests are not guaranteed to be completed but I do promise to try. Until then, enjoy the unicolor ones above.

I was actually really reluctant to do a red one. Its my least favorite color but I do think they came out nicely. Which red one do you prefer? Scarlet or Danger?

Working on it as we speak. Its a little harder so give me a little bit. Ill definitely get that for you tho!
Should the letters be white? Another Color? What about the buttons at the bottoms? Black too? Any Accents?

I would keep all of them especially the red ones. Because of the Red Venom theme that these would match up nicely. Especially with CM on the way with Theme Chooser there will be high demand for all kinds of colors matching with different themes

Thats what Im going to do. When I publish this one then I will start editing the black theme with every color accent since guys seem to really like black themes

Okay I'm definitely a girl but that's okay : P This is the way I was headed. Let me know what you want to see as far as background and other keys. I feel like the background was lacking so i added a little bit of transparency.
My bad that does make sense now with your name and pinkish/purple colored avatar.
That looks good. Can you do one with no white outlines around the letters?
Will do. No outlines is easy. So I should keep that gray looking background? I just did that one real quick to show. Swype has 19 layouts don't wanna get midway in and have to make a drastic change lol.
How's that? I can get the portrait part up tonight if it's a go. Landscape will have to wait until tomorrow.

I'm fairly new to actually "cooking" roms, and in no way am I a developer, but I thought I'd contribute to a fairly slow developing community, just throw something somewhat different out there, a twist. I don't need the crap about not being original, no one wants to hear it. I'm aware of what I am posting, and that it is based off of another ROM. I am in no way calling this an original ROM. Please, don't hesitate to make comments or suggestions, or even to contribute something more. I'll gladly take advice and help from the community to better the ROM
I will also take requests for other themes to be ported to CR_Mod, but keep in mind that I am attending school, and that I have a life, and that this is a side project and it might take awhile to get through requests.
This ROM is based off of CR_Mod 1.35.531.1 OTA, so you MUST be rooted in order to flash this ROM. You can find out how to root your MyTouch Slide by reading the respective thread in the Slide Android Development section.
Almost all of the credit here goes to ChiefzReloaded, who originally gave us the rooted OTA stock ROM, MiguelTheRocker, who ported themes from other devices to CyanogenMod, which gave me the idea for this, and of course, MRagu, who originally made the AndroGreen theme.
Also thanks to TrueBlue_Drew for giving me TONS of advice and pointers while working with the theming obstacles.
Here is a full list of the modifications I made + the changelog:

-Removed AmazonMP3 (honestly who uses that?)

-Did my best to port the GreenSlide theme
-Added ADWLauncher (Don't worry, I didn't remove the Sense UI; see below for more info on that, minor glitch)

-Made minor color changes in the browser to match the theme
-More thoroughly ported GreenSlide (notification bar and its icons are now GreenSlide, UI is significantly more green now)
-Replaced HtcMusic and MyTouchMusic with MusicMod (the one that's in cyanogenmod, it's much sexier.)
12/21/10 Revision 2
-Fixed 9patch glitches (let me know if you find any, like buttons or text fields being stretched or distorted)
-Replaced HTC IME and Swype with the Gingerbread keyboard (I can't edit the secure android settings file without a platform certificate or something rather, so dragon dictation is set as the default on first boot, so the first time you enter text just longpress on the input field, input method, and gingerbread keyboard. If anyone knows a workaround or a way to set the default system keyboard, the help would be most appreciated)
-Even MORE thoroughly ported GreenSlide, the stock HTC apps and interfaces should either have the GreenSlide framework elements or at LEAST be green instead of blue. The only things that I know are still blue are the progress bar, and the big buttons in the MyModes app, the ones where you select change mode or change theme, and the ones where you select the widgets to be placed on the home screens.
-Added the circle battery meter (I love that thing )
-[12-25-10] Added flip window animations (If you already downloaded the ROM, there is a flashable update to add the animations [6:45 PM PST]
Issues:
-Default new SMS icon is still the old notification theme, white on solid black, so it doesn't look quite right against the gradient notification bar. Same thing with the USB icon. Still looking for the location of those two icons
-Default input method is not GB keyboard (if that's even a fixable issue)
-Browser loading progress bar has a 9patch glitch, will post an update tonight Fixed with the flashable update attached to this post. You need to flash this only if you downloaded revision 2 before 11:15 PM PST 12/22/2010. I integrated the browser fix and reuploaded it, so if you have not downloaded revision 2 yet, you don't need to flash this. (I tried to decompile the APK and edit the 9patch and then recompile it, but for whatever reason, there are framework resources missing, at least according to apktool, so it won't properly recompile the apk. So, I had to leave the progress bar blue. BUT the rest of the icons are still green. Sorry!)
I also attached a flashable update that will revert your battery icon to the regular icon, if you don't like the circle one.
Still to do:
-Live wallpapers (I'll probably just end up implementing this into the current revision, rather than bother with a separate one. For those of you that have already downloaded and are running this, I'll post a link to a flashable zip for live wallpapers, it'd be too much of a pain in the ass to flash a whole new rom just for live wallpapers) Attached a flashable zip to this post titled LWP.zip, but you ONLY need to flash this if you downloaded the full ROM before 5:55 PM PST 12/24/2010. I integrated the flashable zip into the full ROM and reuploaded it, so if you are just downloading, you don't need to flash the zip.
DOWNLOAD & INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download both of the files in this folder to the root of your SD card (the archive is for older versions, no need to download anything in that folder)
2. The GreenSlide Addons is a zip that contains LauncherPro icons and dockbar background, as well as wallpapers and a themed fancy widget to match the theme. Use it if you'd like by extracting and selecting manual shortcut and dockbar images in LauncherPro, which you can download from the market.
3. Reboot into clockwork recovery, and flash CR_Mod-Deodexed-GreenSlide-signed.zip
4. If you'd like, download dumfuq's OC kernel here, remember to edit your init.d files, or you might not boot. (I have found that the OC kernel actually increases battery life while sleeping, but it does drain quicker while awake. It makes everything really smooth though)
5. Use, you should be good to go
OPTIONAL: etu_aty provided this link for more mymodes themes if you'd like them, but they will override the green theming I did to the stock HTC apps (I won't include them in the ROM because they add 20 MB to a ROM that's already tight on space).
MORE INFO:
ADW Launcher info: For some reason, HTC Sense has itself set as the default launcher on first boot, so you have to go into Setings>Applications>Manage Applications>HTC Sense>Clear Defaults and then press your home button and select ADW Launcher to use ADW.
I initially was just going to do this for myself, because I hated the battery life issues on CM6.1.1, but I loved the theming I had on it. But, I also loved the battery life and 2d animation speed and quality on Sense ROMs, they never lagged with window animations and such, but I disliked the inability to theme. So I thought, why not try and combine the two? I also thought why not give it to the community, contribute, even if it isn't anything too special, you know? It's not an original ROM but it has some cool things like the GB keyboard and of course, the awesome theme, that I thought I'd share it.

I couldn't change the notification bar without making it glitch up, I'm still working on that. Also for some reason in certain htc apps, like contacts and settings, their theme still shows up for buttons. Basically, occasionally you'll see an occasional blue button or something, rather than the greenslide ones, but for almost everything it's themed. Like the dialer is still totally htc, as well as the contacts app for example. I will probably spend some time tonight working on getting it more completely themed, first priority is the notification bar, since that is only barely themed. When I get more work done on it I will post a flashable zip that will just replace the things I changed so that you don't have to go through a whole new wipe and reflash and resetup again. As for your facebook question, it syncs to your contacts but differently. You can't use the market facebook to sync, you have to use Facebook for MyTouch, which is built in. Then it links facebook friends to your contacts through the contacts app. You can also manually link facebook friends to your contacts by pressing link. When I'm done with this I may also port blackslide, or whatever the really black one that miguel ported is.
As for the dialer and other htc apps, I may be able to theme up settings, but probably not the dialer, it would screw it up to replace it with the stock android one I'm pretty sure.
I'll post a new full rom as well as an update zip when I get more work on it done tonight

Thanks! I still have a bit of work to do with the notification bar and possibly other HTC apps to make them more reminiscent of the theme, I'll post an update probably later today

Suggestions only if you're up for it: only thing I can think of is remove more stock apps. Too many open up on their own and run in the background frequently and are known to drain battery (in all roms). Other than that, I don't even need to tell you anything else. You got it pretty much covered.
I'm thinking this should be added to the Rom Bible.

Yeah I may take a shot at that again, but last time I tried that with some of the widgets, sense kept crashing because it couldn't open the widgets. When I froze calendar with titanium the phone wouldn't sleep because calendar sync was on, glitching everywhere. I'll take another shot, maybe remove some of the redundant music apps and include the musicmod app instead. Thanks for the input.
Update for everything else, themed up the browser to be a bit more green with the buttons, rather than the blue. No luck with the dialer, no matter how much I screw with the images it just won't display the images. Also, there is ONE notification icon that is still stock, the rest have been changed to GreenSlide. For whatever reason, the USB data icon is still white w/black background stock icon, you'll know what I'm talking about when I post the update. I just have to work on changing the text color of notification items and it should be ready to upload. I still have not figured out the stock HTC apps themes, I keep editing their individual drawable-mdpi folders, but they aren't effective when I push and reboot. It must be taking them from something else that I haven't found yet. Somehow it's retaining its own theming. I will post the work that I have in a little bit though. I will continue to look for the theming of the stock apps, it must be in some funky location.

oh and another thing, since this is a espresso rom i dont know if you guys have all the themes (my modes) but i managed to get them from a thread somewhere and i removed the bubbles in the desktop and the drawer from all of them (i hate those freaking bubbles) if you want me to post them just tell me.. i have bubbles and no bubbles, i think there is 18 themes apk.. so you know, just let me know if you want them n_n

What exactly are you referring to, bubbles? And I didn't remove the themes, so yes they're there. I'm almost finished, just having a bit of trouble finding the XML files that specify the color of the text for the notifications themselves, they are black by default. Once I figure that out I'll upload. Then I'll get some work done hopefully with the stock app theming, that's next.

Oh yeah okay I see. Huh. Well this actually gave me a little bit more context to what I was doing. The default "nest" theme is the one I was actually editing when I was editing framework-res and such. If you change the mymode theme, it modifies a lot of the changes I made. But if you change it back to nest, it goes back. Interesting. This might actually help a lot with the issues I'm having with stock HTC apps.

Mostly what we have here is what I felt looked really cool and I could change on the fly without having to flash something.
Also with not needing to flash in recovery, these files can be used by an android device

To uninstall As with any other skin, simply goto from home screen... Menu/personalize/skin/menu/delete and choose any skin no longer wanted (must already be on a different skin as you cannot delete a skin if it is currently in use)

This is a great post because you can find info on what file names you are looking for and what they do.
Here is a good link with lots of details for a skin
shared.m10 - I love this file. This is the bulk of what you see in a skin. This file is also found in the "fusion.apk" of a ROM or flashable theme. You can actually pull this from a theme, throw it into a skin and resign and BAM! New skin with your favorite look. Or vise versa. And you get your theme with the look of your favorite skin.

4)Now run #22 to choose your current project(should be #1 if you only added one apk).
5)Now run #10 to decompile apk.
6)Once finished without closing the command prompt(Script)Open up the projects folder.
7)Open AndroidManifest.xml with NOTEPAD++(right click).
8)Now at the end of line #2 change the name of the skin to whatever you want to call it,save and close.
9)Now go to the assests folder and where the shared M10 volume is(it will be the folder with the name of the skin)
change that folder to the name that you used in the AndroidManifest.xml,but only the skin name and NOT the full string
for example com.KWM.CosmicBlue.apk(leave out everything but the "CosmicBlue")
10)Now go to /res/values/strings.xml and
right click to open and edit with NOTEPAD++,now edit line #4 to the name of your skin,save and close
11)Now adjust,replace,or modifiy any of the PNG files you want in the /res/drawable-hdpi & /res/drawable-land-hdpi.
12)Now to recompile your apk run #11.
13)Now open M10 editor without closing the other windows (just minimize them).
14)Now to edit the png's in the shared M10 we need to run the Load file,once finished make sure you check the box that says Decode images,Now run the Decompile/show button.
15)Edit the M10s files you want,I generally open the entire folder in explorer view. Once an icon appears on the right, right click it and open in explorer view. It’s a lot easier than picking the files one at a time. Make sure you’ve got everything because you won’t want to open this back up unless it’s absolutely necessary.
16)Now save M10 but uncheck were it says zipalign.It should be saved
back to the Modding folder.
17)Now to sign your apk go back to ApkManger(this is why you don't want to close any windows
during this procces)Run #4.All DONE!!!
18)Now after you do your first skin i suggest that you skip this last step and
follow these next two steps.
19)Now copy your apk to the Place-apk-here-to-batch-optimize folder and Run #15.
20)Now copy your apk to the Place-apk-here-for-signing folder and Run #16
Volume bar color is in "progress horizontal.xml"

How to port a theme into a skin !
(May not be perfect or complete but it works for me)
This will not include xml edits or m10 edits
1) Learn how to use 7-zip and apkmanager then …
2) Download and place on desktop of pc (windows 7) these items… A base skin (use one of mine if you like), and from the theme you like get the com.htc.resources.apk and framework-res.apk (from the system/framework folder of the theme) and the systemUI.apk and fusion.apk (from the system/app folder of the theme)
3) Right click on desktop and create new folder. Label it “myskinfiles”
4) Then open (with 7-zip or other like program) theskinyouchose.apk and drag into your new folder the “res” folder from the skin.
5) Now open the resources file and drag onto the desktop C:\Users\USER\Desktop\com.htc.resources.apk\res\drawable-hdmi\ folder.
6) Now open the “myskinfiles” and snap it onto the left window side.
7) Open to res/drawable-hdmi and minimize.
8) Then open the drawable-hdmi from desktop and snap it into the right window side.
9) Now make sure you have both windows open and goto the right window and select all.
10) Drag all into left window. You will get a message that says “There is already a file with the same name in this location. “ On that window at the bottom where it says “do this for next 355 conflicts” check the box to the left then click on skip.
11) Then (while still highlighted) hit the “DELETE” key on your keyboard. (Let process complete)
12) Now goto right side folder and “select all” and drag to left folder again but this time select the box “do this for next 355 conflicts” and choose “Move and Replace”. Let complete and then minimize left window and close right window.
13) Now delete the C:\Users\USER\Desktop\drawable-hdmi and open framework then repeat steps 5 - 12 again with the drawable-hdmi in it then delete C:\Users\USER\Desktop\drawable-hdmi and finally, repeat steps 5 - 12 with the systemUI.
14) Now goto the skin and delete “res” folder and replace it with the C:\Users\USER\Desktop\myskinfiles\res you put together.
15) Next goto the C:\Users\USER\Desktop\fusion.apk and copy onto desktop the assets\Default\drawable\shared.m10 file.
16) Now open the skin you choose and drag that m10 into assets\skinnamefolder\drawable . it will say “confirm copy file” select yes.
17) If you want a transparent status bar and you have a ROM that supports it just go into the drawable-hdmi in your skin and find statusbar_background.png and use a program like gimp and make it totally transparent. If not then skip this step.
18) Close the skin and go into apkmanager and rename it, rezipalign it, and resign it.
Note...hdmi/hdpi you know what I mean
To port a sense 3.5 skin to sense 3.0 or vice versa follow a similar process.
Just transfer the contents from the drawable hdmi and assets folders of the original skin to the destination skin in the same method described above. It’s actually easier than porting from a theme.
For the wallpaper and skin preview just goto the image folder and replace the appropriately named files with your wallpaper of choice and take a screen capture of your finished skin then add it back into the skin and re sign.
I may have left a bunch of steps out but this will get you going until I can clean up this tutorial and add in what is needed. Have fun !!

weird stuff, i was able to download red and blue fine from my phone but the stock skin for some reason isn't downloading with dolphin, stock, stock HC, opera, chrome or IE.
I'm starting this thread as a place for themers to exchange tricks they've learned, also to exchange information. The intent is not to become a "how to decompile ICS" thread.. they are all over if you just search. I'll start it off as an example:
For doing mass .9.png edit ssuch as replacing a color, I found the easy way is a comination of Adobe bridge with Photoshop
For example:
say i want to change all red elements into blue
open your first image in photoshop
create a action with the commands(just a example) Adjust to RGB -> select color range 'reds' -> adjust hue (set to your version of blue you want)->save->close ... say i name action "change"
now in bridge nav to folder where the images are you want to change in the same manner
select all the images you want to run the action on
tools>photoshop>batch
select the "change action" and volla....
another way ive used this is by replacing "select color range'reds'" and again select color range>sample the black edge, so the black border is selected.. followed by select inverse .. this will then select all but the border and adjust hue of the whole image w/o messing the the border
Tip: if youre trying to rotate multiple images and are using Windows 7, Ctrl+A to hightlight them all and right click to choose "Rotate Clockwise" or Counterclockwise.
Tip: If your not liking how a .9.png is stretching a image.. look in your sdk tools, there should be one called draw9patch... It's a java app to edit a .9.pngs stretching...(I just recently discovered this)
Up until finding this, I would push images I want to stretch uniformly via zip 7 after compiling..obviously poor practice to do any work later on

Thanks, the theme I'm wanting to do involves some beveled edges on the various status bars and such. Stretching along the vertical edge would be fine but trying to pull the whole image would distort the top and bottom bevels. I'll have to look into this because I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to do what I wanted to do without the ability to control this.
Now I gotta experiment with whether a .9 image can exist where there wasn't one in the original build.

don't quote me in this, but I'm pretty sure it's fine to replace .png with a .9.png.....9.pngs are used as a answer to different screen resolutions to prevent distorted images

I'm almost certain it's in Rosie.apk in m10 file...which can't change yet..can work around with the m10s for skins but I think that is in Rosie

I am efficient enough in the Adobe Suite to handle this stuff, but I just dont know how to extract the system files off the phone and then apply the new ones. It is probably easier than I know, but if anyone has a link on how you start playing around with these files that would be great.

Just download the rom you want to theme on your pc and open with 7zip, most files are in system/framework and system/app, No pulling files from phone needed.
To push them back just download any random theme .zip and replace the files with your themed files

tip I have here, I'd to take a peak at the script for the zip...I've seen some peoples scripts include deleting the original apk from the phone before pushing new..if that's the case, you could end up deleting something your not replacing with this method

Here is a blank zip you can use to flash your theme, just make sure you put the right apks in the right folders i.e SystemUI,apk goes in system/app/ and framework-res.apk goes in system/framework.

I've done this before..with adding a animation to the notifications background..should be able use the same concept..average Joe (I think that was his screen name) has a good write up on this

Due to requests, I am posting icons I made (originally for my LG Nitro) for the GS4. These are completely original icons I literally drew in power point, saved as pngs, and then resized/cropped to icons. The good thing about the icons is that they're very minimalist (just my style), so they actually weren't too hard to make, all things considered.
These cover the icons which are positioned on the right side of the notification bar. These will not change icons on the left side of the bar.
Just to give you an idea, here is a clip of my notification bar:

A FEW NOTES:
1.) The signal icons will not work if you have done the build.prop edit to change to stock jelly bean icons. This edit changes the identity of your phone, and redirects SystemUI.apk to use alternate icons. If you have used this edit and want to use the signal icons, you will have to change the names of the files appropriately.
2.) The battery icons are only for those who have incorporated the % battery mod either from StolenVW here or by another method.
3.) The signal icons will look odd if you choose to use them and don't also incorporate the attached modified xml. Essentially, this xml has been edited such that the signal type/in-out icon overlaps with the signal strength icons as such:
I did this mainly because I hate wasted space, and think it's unnecessary to have two icon slots just for signal when at one point they used to overlap in stock android. To adopt this xml edit, just use 7zip to right click/"open archive" SystemUI.apk, and drag and drop the xml into res/layout. It is already compiled, so should work fine. Obviously, before putting SystemUI.apk back onto your phone, you'll need to set proper permissions and whatnot. If you don't know how, please turn back or ask someone (or me) first before ruining your fabulous new phone (although recovery with Odin posted by AdamOutler here works fantastically well, just fyi).
SO, take a look at the icons, take whatever you want., edit whatever you want, use however you like! They are organized into the folders of the apks where they belong, so you can use them as a guide for where to put them if you want to adopt the look. These apks include:
SystemUI.apk
framework-res.apk
NfcNci.apk
The attached xml for clustering the signal type/in-out/strength belongs in SystemUI.apk/res/layout. It is compiled, so you should be able to use 7zip to right click on your SystemUI.apk, "open archive," and just drag and drop it into your SystemUI.apk.
Hope you find something you like!
Beautiful set of icons mate, it would be a good idea to set a whole UI based on your style ala vrtheme.
This truly is, I just need to find a thin clock font mod to match it!

While these aren't my style and I'm far from a minimalist - I'm not going to show you my home screens for fear you may damage your monitor by throwing something at it - but I can definitely appreciate all the hard work you've put into this! Excellent job with this, and for everyone else, make sure you give this user a thanks even if you don't use these icons just because of how awesome they are!

Wow, thanks guys! I would love to make it flashable, but I have no idea how. In addition, I wouldn't mind posting a SystemUI.apk, but at this point, everyone seems to have additional mods, so I wouldn't be able to include them without wiping their other mods out as well.
As far as quick setting icons, I didn't make additional ones to match, but I did make the whole pulldown menu minimalist white/black, just because:

I will post a vrtheme zip file with your icons as soon as I have time, ni batt icons though, since that would require modding of systemui.apk therefirr making it incompatoble across devices/roms. Vrtheme will only replace pngs.
VrTheme Stencil
This one should work ok on all S4 variants.
It includes all stencil icons except the battery percentaje ones (again, those xmls mods have to be compiled along the apk in order for them to work reading the pngs). The rest of pngs are there including your xml file (which should apply properly by just flashing this mod)
Since its a vrtheme flashable zip file, it should be compatible with all i950x TW ROMs, it shouldnt modify any mods existing in your current systemui (except for the notifications, obviously)

I didn't use the zip file above. I just downloaded the icons from the first post and copief them to my systemui.apk file. Btw, i have an AT&T i337 model.

I thought someone might be interested to see what my screen looks like with these icons. I had a transparent status bar set up prior, but I went back to black. Oh, and I like to have my buttons down the right side of the phone as I'm right handed. I don't know whomever thought having a dock at the bottom of the screen as default made much sense. It makes calling and doing quick email checks much easier to have it on the right or left depending on your style.

This is a tutorial on how to do very little and get a lot by replacing the .9 pngs with broken .9 pngs applying to the tabs and title dividers.
This comes about by mistake. I broke a .9 and it didn't cause any fc's or any other errors.
I'm sharing because, well, because you know I love to, but also because it's an easy way to make a decent impact on your look.
Feel free to use any of the images however you like. If you end up with a theme to share, awesome I'll look forward to trying it. I won't have any user submitted sections here so you'll need your own thread.
Examples And/Or Templates In 2cd Post
From PC
1. Extract Example Zip
● right click and choose extract
2. Edit pngs
● inside you'll find only the folders and paths with only the pngs we'll need
● edit how you like but keep the sizes the same
3. Drag pngs into Template.zip
● make sure they're the same names and sizes
● make sure they go back into the same folder
4. Put on sdCard
● I use loki'd twrp
● I assume the zip will work for your rooted s4 rom
● I am not responsible for any damage that comes from your use of the zips or this tutorial
From Phone [I used Root Explorer & Photo Editor for the tutorial]
1. From Root Explorer, long press and choose extract and "go to"
2. Navigate to 'example'.zip/vrtheme/system/ and then apps, framework and priv-app and on to the first png,
●I start with apps/ClockPackage_OSup.apk/res/drawable-sw360dp-xxhdpi
3. Longpress png and send to photo editor
●You can edit how you like but don't change the size or name
●Make sure to overwrite the current png
●Do this for every folder
4. Zip back up
●You can rename the zip
●You can change the ui_print in updater-script;
- navigate to META-INF/com/google/android
- longpress updater-script and open with Text Editor
- Change only between the quotations in the first line = ui_print("ONLY WRITE IN HERE")
- Save and delete updater-script.bak
5. Done

Yes. I'm looking for a photo editor that will save the pic to the same place. Most I've found create a new file. I'll elaborate on the "from phone" as soon as I find one. Do you know of one?
The steel size confused me. But it's a simple gradient effect. With the resized pngs the sizes will depend on the quality of the image. As good as the steel looks, imo, the actual pic is low quality.

Oh, ok...I gotcha. Try THIS APP out. It will allow you to easily "save as" or will also allow you to overwrite. Not sure if this is what you're looking for or not...if it isn't, let me know exactly what you need it to do and I'm sure I'll find you something!!
@calebcabob perfect. That is exactly what I needed. I'll need to get into it but it looks like it has plenty of features. I use picsay but it saves by folder name and I have to guess if it the right ""360dp"" folder. This one let's me overwrite and I was able to do it from the phone. I'll elaborate on the tutorial as I can. Thanks

Finally got to updating this. I added the from phone tutorial. You will need a lot of time to do it from phone, so maybe on a long trip or at work
I also added a template zip with settings buttons. It allows you to just have one button as apposed to switches.
Also added a homescreen icon template and example.

I've added some zips with hardkey and popups darkened and colored in the third post. No tutorial on those but you can use them to help complete your look. Background xmls will be added too in flashable zips.

Did this today waiting for oil change. Took about 15 minutes but I only applied a color replace effect to get the wood bluish. But then I saw it made it more green than blue lol.
All from my phone!
