Lots of Errors & Reboots - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

I am desperately need help with my phone. I had installed GingerDX v13 from Cyanogen Froyo CM6 v6.01 and it worked fine except it will reboot every half hour so reinstalled the previous one i was using "Cyanogen Froyo CM6-Latest (based on MiniCM) - v6.01" and did wipe data/factory reset before and after installation from xrecovery (with every new rom install) then restore from Titanium backup as restore all apps and data (not System) and rebooted.
After reboot all problems started. It just gives me Force Close errore one after another and do not stop. If i lock screen, it shows errors in few seconds and if i do not do anything it just reboots. And all cycle statrs again.
I tried to go into recovers at startup by pressing back key after Sony ericson shows up on screen, but no luck.
Can you pleaseeeee help? I installed many updates without problems but this time no luck. My be some commands for abd shell to do factory reset and clear data?
Thanks

Have you tried seus with your phone turned of connect to pc while holding all 3 menu buttons. Ive seen a postsome were in the forum but cant remember were. I think thats how you do it.
Edit found this on a post
Turn the phone off for 30 secs. or so
connect the USB to PC
hold back button
connect USB to phone
the Green LED should light up indicating that the phone is in flash mode, just incase you have to flash your old rom back.

Step 5) HOLD DOWN THE BACK KEY ON THE PHONE AND PLUG THE OTHER END OF THE USB CABLE INTO THE PHONE.

[Q] Utterly dead Vibrant

Hey there.
First post. I used Odin 3.1 to flash Froyo 2.2 on my Vibrant that was running Eclair 2.1, and Odin showed a successful completion. The phone then turned off and instead of re-booting, has become totally, utterly unresponsive.
I have tried a number of ways to get it to work, or at least get in to Download or Recovery mode, including the "remove everything, then re-insert battery while holding down volume up/down keys" and any number of key combinations. I've trowled the forum and haven't found a single solution for a completely unresponsive Vibrant. even the USB jig seems to be for those phones that at least show the Vibrant Logo or the "S" at start-up, while mine doesn't do anything.
The only encouraging thing has been posts by people who claim to have lefft their unresponsive Vibrants plugged in for several hours only to have them miraculously revive, but that seems like a long shot to me.
Have I managed to do the impossible and brick an unbrickable phone? I'd really appreciate help as I just got the phone last week and don't want to declare it a dead loss so soon.
Cheers!
Utterly, haha

thinking.. above was a joke...
What ODIN files did you flash? Link to them?
What version of ODIN, the latest?
When you say nothing... you mean you can't see anything on the phone, regardless of the action?
rofl OMG is that chick half naked hahaha seriously is she in her undies milking a cow WTF! LMFAO!
- so the phone won't turn on huh?...... no power at all?....... how about plug in the cord, do you see the batt charge?
haha utterly.. when you say put in the battery while holding the volume keys, did you put in the battery or plug in the USB??
I had to replace mine. Been good ever since.

Here's the long story. My phone was getting the 'device unrecognized' error in Kies and Kies Mini, so I used Odin 3.0 to flash it, using the "T959UVKA6_REV05_home_low_CL860813.tar.md5" file.
After flashing, my phone wouldgo into recovery mode and the following error.
"E:Cant mount /dev/block/st110
(invalid argument)
E:copy_dbdata_media:cant mount DBDATA:
copy default media content failed."
Next I followed the steps detailed in this post . When I flashed my phone according to the 'Gauranteed Solution', my phone turned off at the end of the flash and has stayed off ever since.
And when I say nothing, I mean nothing. No battery symbol, no sound, no Samsung Vibrant logo, nothing. Just a blank screen.
I tried plugging in the phone and then putting in the battery with the volume keys pressed and I also tried it without plugging in the USB. Either way, nothing happens.
As you can probably guess, I'm a n00b of the first order and I fear I might have killed my phone.
If you do manage to revive your phone back.. You better flash roms via cmw. Not that odin isn't great but cmw never caused any problems(to me).
Make a jig to force download mode then reflash stock os and install rom manager to flash roms. P.m for more Info.

Thats funny, the last post in the link you referenced is someone having the same problem as you........ why would you try to do that? and the .tar is some I9000 file being that the (fix) was in the I9000 forum. Neither of these probably have anything to do with your problem now i just thought it was funny. I mean why wouldn't you just use the T959UVJFD.tar in ODIN?
It seems that the "E:cant mount" error is a fairly common issue and from what i am seeing alot of the people having this issue after using samsung kies are getting replacements fairly easily although it is a last resort for many. I would not think its an issue with your drivers or anything like that, probably just ODIN being weird. Don't give up on ODIN i would assume that it will recognize the phone eventually as most "DEAD" vibrants do after time. I'll keep looking into it for you. Hope you find a fix soon. Good luck!
You can also restart the computer and f8 and turn off driver signing and see if that helps. Once again I don't mind helping on a more personal basis. P.m me.

Nice tip but the x10 Mini has no "loose" battery.
if this is a "bootloop" you need to use SEUS and redo the whole thing with root and reainstall everything inc. custom ROM.
What you could do with the battery is:
Take back cover off, there is a small rubbery "plug" pry that away from the phone.
Beneath that rubber you can see a white electrical socket.
That socket is connecting the battery to the phone.
That COULD dp the trick.On occassions..
Yeah when I posted it I didn't notice he meant mini, was my bad, flashing with seus is what I also mentioned so can forget pulling the battery part

You can always pres the home and power buttons at the same time, it will do a hard reboot. Pressing the back-button several times when the kernel logo shows up should get you back into xrecovery.
If you need flashmode, press home and power and as soon as the screen goes off (completely black) press the back-button with the usb-cable already attached to your computer and your phone.

why press power button
plase do this step! by step!:
2 Short-Pin unbrick method
1. Copy a functional ROM on SD Card. PRG folder
2. Rename to TG01WP_00.enc
3. Put the battery in and plug Power- Kable. Charging LED flash RED *
4. short pin 1 and 3 (back side under sim card, remove black plastic) Hold the short and RESET. Hold short pin 1 and 3 for 10 sec. Display go on and ROM flash beginn
Yes i did tray this couple of times but with no success , when i plugged charger the charging red light dont flash red but i tray it anyway with charger on and off aswell.
I did it with the power button cose i read that somewhere and im scared i did burn or so something in MB as i had power charger plugged in i then short the pin 1 and 3 and then press power button. this is probably very bad way to go. the mobile is not responding to anything i tray
My TG01 has the same problem. I tried many times to flash a new ROM by "2 Short-Pin unbrick method" but nothing. @mirolg if you have some other ideas we are glad to hear you and to try on our dead phones.

Tutorial: Rooting, bootloader unlocking&updating

How to Root and unlock the bootloader of Sony Ericsson your Xperia x10
for those stock on 1.6 or 2.1 or soft bricked Go here first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32673686#post32673686
Vote after you have completed all the steps which you desire. and don't vote "Im confused" if you did not read carefully.
Disclaimer: I nor xda-developers.com bear any responsibility for your phone.(this phone is not bricked easy so don't worry if anything goes wrong you could just flash a new stock 2.3.3 with flashtools)
The first time may scary you like it did me the for my first time but now I can do this in my sleep.
1.download latest flashtools which is a program that you would be using as long a you want to flash custom rom from here: http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/
2. Now in the Flashtools folder (C:\Flashtool\firmwares by default) go to the folder named drivers and you would see "flashtool-drivers" and install them (installed them all just in-case you decide to get another Xperia phone in the future.
3. On your phone go to setting>applacations>unknown sources and usb debugging in development and connect your phone to your computer with your data cable and then open flashtools.
4. root would now become available in flashtools so press it(the black unlocked lock ICON) and just wait for flashtools to reboot your phone. and you now have root access!
Installing a Recovery
In order to install a new Rom you would have to install a Recovery, according to the rom you want to install the thread would state whether you need a ClockWorkMod(CWM)(CWM5 in flashtools) or just flash through Xrecovery(0.3 in flashtools)
So in order to install a Recovery your phone must be connected to the USB port on your computer. So in flashtools click on the black square with a white cross in it and choose according.( setting>applacations>unknown sources and usb debugging in development much be on.
How to use Xrecovery.
To get into xrecovery you much power off your device, then press the power button until it vibrates, no when you see the sonyericsson logo start pressing the back button on your phone and then you would enter Xrecovery(in the version of flashtools this tutorial is based you must wait until you see the notification LED turns ) now in xrecovery you use the volume up, down, home and back buttons to navigate.
Bootloader Unlocking.
5.unplug your phone and power it off. On the top bar in flashtools plugins should now be available with the "Unlocked bootloader" option, so press it and wait until it says to connect your phone then do so by holding down your back button(on your phone) and plugging in your USB cable(don't let go until you see your notifications light come on GREEN
6. While the unlocking is taking place look out for the "you can now unplug and turn on device, then plug it again" Immediately. Do it that one time and just leave it to finish and say "successfully applied unlock. Rebooting
7. Smile because you can now flash custom kernels and so forth and so on and also press thanks button.
If your stuck just send me a message.
Quick tip:flashing new roms usually means loosing your data(contacts, apps, etc) but you can use this to backup your data and when you're done re-download it and restore your data: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jiubang.go.backup.pro

Gt king tv box bootloop and reset not working.

Hi, Im new to all of this and hope anyone could help me out.
I have a problem with my tv box because of installing
SuperSU.
First of all, my box is rooted from factory. Its a beelink gt king. But super su isnt installed like when you root a phone and it shows. So I tried to install it because I needed to hide my root from some apps/games. I installed magisk but I needed this supersu also apparently? Well, anyway I did. And then the problem of the binary occupied appears. So Im googleing some solutions and it says that first you need to install a previous version and then update from play store but in play store there is no more supersu.
But anyway I installed the previous version, asked me to reboot system, I did, and now I have a tv box that is stuck in the logo. Actually not in logo..it passes the beelink logo in about 2 hours, then comes the skull with glowy eyes and thats when it stays. I have waited hours for the skull to change to the homescreen to no avail.
The second problem is I have been trying to reset the box but I just cant do it or the system cant?. Its really stuck. Maybe Im missing something? I dunno. I push the reset button that is at the bottom in this box, then I plug the power cable, wait some time, release...but nothing happens.
What I am doing wrong?
Please help someone.
And can you tell me a method without a PC? Unbelievably I dont have a PC. And this phone cant be rooted or at least is very difficult to root or so they say (a galaxy note 4 verizon).
But at the end it doesnt matter. Whatever it takes to fix this box. Thank you.
GT KING SD Card Update
Hi Hansell1001, I did the same thing and faced the exact same issue. But i happened to have a PC. But i think this can also be done via a Phone and a SD card.
First download the firmware as per your model (As per your serial number under the box) to your phone.
Firmware: For C922X and SA9X and SB9X versions
http://t.cn/A6zQGfda
Firmware: For B922 versions(04.01.2020 add)
http://t.cn/A6ZNxNkM
Firmware: For S922 versions(04.01.2020 add)
http://t.cn/A6ZNxe7R
1. Now extract the content of the zip file.
2. You should see a folder called “sd_card”.
3. Copy the content of that folder (I.e factory_update_param.aml, recovery.img and galilei-ota-eng.xk.zip) to the root of SD Card.
IMPORTANT: (the SD card format must be FAT32)
4. Insert the SD Card to the SD slot at the side of the box.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
5. Now remove the power cord of the GT King and with the help of a pin, press and hold the reset button at the bottom and insert the power cord.
6. Hold the reset button for 5 seconds till you see the Beelink logo and then release it. Hopefully you be on the recovery screen.
7. From this screen, select “Apply update from EXT” and select the update zip file.
8. Now the box would update properly and boot you back.
I fixed it
I fixed it more than a month ago. Thanks anyway.
I thought xda was quick.

Ha ha Yeah but i just got the box in Jan i screwed in March so i was looking for a solution but figured it out myself. So when i saw your post, i thought it would be helpful but guess not. But anyway now this would be helpful to someone who may need it.
So let this be a reference for them
Guys, help! I got a GTKing in November 2020, a couple of weeks ago. It worked for a week or so, then it went into boot loop. Firmware is v 914p0 (dated 21 Oct 2020). I tried several things to no avail:
- When reapplying v 914p0, the device reboots to the boot loop
- When attempting to apply v 913p0or earlier, it says it won't apply an earlier version.
I hope someone will drop in some hint on how to get this @#!* box to work.
Cheers,
-Christos
I can't download that firmware
