Hello, everybody!
Guess what? the_laster had make a tool to restore the bootloader.
I found this here
It's a new s1tool. Download here View attachment s1tool.7z
So we can unlock the bootloader ,and restore it anytime we want.
Now we can do everything we want and without worry.
One more thing, after restore the bootloader our customer kernel will not boot,so you have to use the stock kernel.
Cheer!!!
And thanks to all great men here!!!
Edit:
It's useless for you unless you want to relock the bootloader.
After SpyderX add this to his thread,I think this thread should be closed(or deleted).

This doesn't need a HOW-TO thread in Development forum, just plug your phone in in flash mode and click restore...

yeah It's very easy. I'm sorry if I opened a useless thread.
The topic '[how to] restore original bootloader after unlock' is named by the_laster.
I just copy it.

Never mind, good work finding this. I will add it to my thread. Thanks!

why we need to restore the original boot loader ???

It's not because we need. JUST WE CAN!!
Maybe sometimes we want to try SE' fully stock X8.

for warranty maybe

i think , because right now when we need to try rom must flash 1 package kernel and rom.
so if we want to use rom (old rom that there is not 1 package with custom kernel)
we need original kernel to use rom ex : GDX , GC and the others.
the point is we still wait stable custom kernel + rom.
correct me if i'm wrong.

whit this tool ,the x8 unlocked turn into locked phone?
sorry for english

Closed as per OP request.

[Request]ClockworkMod Recovery for Sony Live with Walkman !

hi i see ARC have ClockworkMod Recovery but we dont have ClockworkMod Recovery for WT19i or Sk17i any one can help me port for it ?
The main probs is we have to unlock bootloader to mod kernel or do with fastboot
Anyone can bypass it to load the kernel without verify ?
301 posts and still you post in the wrong section.
I think CWM is build in on the insecure stock kernels. I might be wrong.... Else you have to wait for someone to fix it.

Now begin with me !
The problem is, the new xperia series doesn't have separate boot block.
There are 2 ways NOW to run CWM and CFW on our devices.
1. Built inside the kernel
2. Hotboot to CWM with fastboot...
These 2 ways requires unlocked bootloader and working fastboot; so we have to wait for someone who bypasses the bootloader security on sim locked and branded phones
So...
1.: if I modify the kernel, the bootloader decline it, and unable to boot.
2.: Fastboot don't enabled in branded phones.

This made my day. You dont download a bootloader. I would reccomend you do some RTFM and understand what is what in an android device and how it works.
Bootloader is somewhat like the BIOS on computers. If you can unlock it you can have custom ROMs on it. If not, you have to pay to get it unlocked.
you can get the cwm plus the bravia engine for the WT19 here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1346190
the cwm doesn't show up in the apps menu, you can access it by restarting the devise and keeping clicking it the volume down button.

I am not sure yet if there is an available CWM for locked bootloaders for ICS 4.0.4.
I already have unlocked bootloader, so I just flashed a kernel with Root and CWM.

How to install custom rom on AU KDDI

Hi, i have a japanese phone, ISW11M (AU KDDI) which is locked apparently. I have already sim-unlocked it using some paid service. However, I planning to unlock the bootloader to install some rooted custom ROM..
So my question is, do isw11m(Au kddi) model is supported by photon_torpedo root method? Or do i need to use other method to install custom rom in this phone? Please enlighten me or give me a direction on how to solve this.
Yes, you can install custom ROM on ISW11M. I've already installed CM7 on my ISW11M (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1910837). Do step-by-step --> ROOT --> UNLOCK BOOTLOADER --> CMW --> Install ROM.
But there is one thing you must know, if you break your phone, you can't returm to stock ROM because there is no stock ROM for ISW11M.
Please read carefully all step before you begin. I think when you're on CM7 you won't want to return stock.

You don't need to go to an external website- I found the BL unlock instructions in the development subforum for this device and it worked perfectly. Although it slightly worries me that there's no stock ROM for this device- mine is starting to have problems.
That's right!

Quick Question : Why would you want to do that?
Answer to the question : Yes You can do it by Flashing A Relock ftf file for your device.
But Locked bootloader will stop the CWM from functioning,
Might leave your device soft brick.
Root has nothing much to do with boot loader lock or unlock. So boot will be present
I hope you find this information useful.
Advice : Do not attempt to lock it with root and CWM.
Correct procedure is to
1. Flash a CLEAN STOCK
and then
2. Flash ReLock
Greetings,
Dwarkesh

No. But you can skip the booting of the .69 firmware(just turn on the phone, see the Sony logo and force shut down(volup+power)). Then flash your desired lollipop firmware and !EXCLUDE TA partition! It is the most important part.

In flashtool, when you select the lollipop firmware, there is a list Exclude on the right. In that list check TA.
Simplified instuctions:
1. flash stock lollipop with flashtool
2. lock bootloader with flashtool
3. flash .69(turn on the phone and force turn off(if you get stuck in Sony logo) )
4. unlock the bootloader now
5. flash lollipop without TA
6. flash Androplus kernel to gain recovery
7. flash the DRM Restoration.zip from recovery and wipe dalvik cache
8. Done
Hit Thanks, if I helped!

If you saved your DRM keys before unlocking the bootloader, you can get it in its original state. If you didn't, you have to stay unlocked (or lock and lose drm functions, which I guess is not an option). But I don't see a reason for locking it. You can flash different kernels that way. For example, Androplus kernel have undervolting. It can reduce the heat of your device. It also has so many different options(governors, overclock, KSM, hotplug, etc.)

Install any .69 ftf you want. Just make sure it is for your variant of device (XX02, XX03 etc.) You will be overwriting it anyways. Just make sure it has a TA partition inside. If you don't see it, download another one.

Are you sure? The exclude list is scrollable. It should be there.
BTW Did you download the Orange-branded one?

Search for the Taiwan version on google. I got one of my .69 ftfs that way. The other one is from Orange, but the link is down.

Find a really dark place(behind the fridge, bed or something) and take a photo. There shouldn't be any green/red artifacts.
