First all I want you to know that this is not my project ( I have slightly modified it to make it work for XXKH3 and XXKI3 Deodexed (stock friendly)

Now back to business, most the people that tried to flash the record call zip from the above thread and have XXKH3 or XXKI3 would of found out you lost all your network signal or record just did not work right, simply not good enough ay .

This has been tested and working for ☜☆☞ Check's Dark Knight Edition v5.5 ( others too under XXKH3 and XXKI3 - Deodexed )
Great! Until now there was a pb with CR on a stock KH3. Works fine on a custom but not on a stock.

This will work on stock if not just flash the restore and u will go back to stock phone.

I have flashed this mod on a Stock ROM 2.3.5, but after my phone have no signal, I have to revert it.

Yes, This is 100& stock ROM no mods just be aware its a Wipe version so it will remove all your data so back it up!
Will it give us the yellow triangle when booting?

Yesterday i download a file from this thread '[DESIGN] TouchWiz style SII by da_jok3r (OS 2.3.4 XXKPH DEODEX)' and i install it in, but when i went to home screen, it didnt have the contact logo and also my dailer and message keep shows up force close, can anyone give me the original one? Thks.
i think you are using wrong baseband. it is for XXKPH. what's your baseband?

Baseband doesent matter
xxkph is 2.3.4 gingerbread
so if you use it on any 2.3.4 gingerbread firmware of ace it will run ok
But prob is that he's using froyo DXKC1 and he flashed files for gingerbread XXKPH I think he can try to reflash or re-deodex DXKC1 by using packed deodex (as I remember, Lovetz did it)

download DXKC1 from samfirmware and reflash via odin

I have a question about O2 UK ROMs. I came from one of that(the latest official Kies updated version) to Ice cream sandwich, then I realised it's in alpha state, so I want to get back to it.
Which version is the best for battery life and reliability?

Is it from samfirmware? Where can I find this? I guess I would need a carrier branded(O2) ROM.
Scroll down to the O2 section and yourll find XWKJ1.Download it from there.All you have to do is put it in PDA in Odin (dont select anything else) and hit start.Easy as

Hi mate
What do u mean with bloatware ? It is a stock rom and this is why I don't remove Sammy stuff because it isn't a custom rom.
Yes it works with no problem. Hard brick bug is associated with Android 4.0.4 roms.

Just keep in mind
and Siyah Kernel older than v3.4.1 will BREAK ur phone with android 4.0.4
But all Siyah v3.4.1 and newer are safe for ur phone

You will lose Root and CWM recovery but you can root again with few minutes

1. there are prerooted + CWM recovery for ICS 4.0.3 unmodified stock firmwares
2. There are prerooted without CWM recovery for ICS 4.0.4 unmodified stock firmwares.
so which one do you want to go for?

Because, 4.0.4 has brick bug on its stock kernel, you only have two options.
1. Flash a prerooted ICS 4.0.4 firmware via CWM recovery, then flash a custom kernel via temporary CWM recovery.
2. Flash ICS 4.0.4 firmware via Odin. You will lose ROOT and CWM recovery, then flash a custom kernel via Odin to have ROOT and CWM recovery back.
Which option are you going for?

Odin is manual flashing. Kies can only help you update your phone (only when update is available)

I'm also second hand user of Galaxy S II and I got it with this ROM http://en.miui.com. *#1234# doesn't give me any info (don't know what PDA or CSC) so I don't know which stock Firmware to download from www.sammobile.com all I need is it to be in english, so what to download and flash with Odin....
