I get a vdm client quits when i try to update my prl or profile. Can anybody help? First happend on clean rom 2.5 so i flashed viper 1.3 and still have the problem.

If you haven't already try doing a clean install of whatever ROM you decide to stick with. Then, try running the updates before any titanium backups or anything like that. Also, are you on HBOOT 1.5,4, or 3? Are you using Rev's method of root or HTC's? If HTC make sure you're using the fast boot method when flashing the ROMs as to have a matching kernel along with them. Hope something here helps.
Maybe it is titanium backup. Thats the only things that have changed since the problem started.

Can someone please direct me to a thread that would explain you me what the benefits of cm7 are over any other toxic or trigger or some flashable rom like those ive been digging and cant find a consensus on weather or not its worth trying just keeps seeming like a more difficult way to make my rom more stock like. I was going to download it via rom manager but wasn't there in the list of devs? I am certain I'm a premium user bought it legit from the market I can manage the long route for install I'm just curiouse is it more or less just an aosp? I understand to just try it. I'm just giddy and don't have the resources for the next few weeks to afford to take the chance on having issues with install if its just more or less stock miui or sonething. I understand the just try it view just had a nooob inquiry before I proceeded to do so lol :-D

Actually went back to stock via odin after cm7 wouldnt register on the network... Any ideas thoight it was sexy aside from that little bug (or error on install on my behalf)

reflash cm 7 again but dont pick 9-11 nightlies as there pointless. pick 6-8 nightlies as there good and stable in my opinion. When installing on ur first try make sure u check off all three, wipe data, wipe dalvik, and backup rom and then on ur second nightlie install u dont have to do the data wipe but make sure u check off the other 2! I hope this helps as Cm7 is worth it!
Has anyone found a working MyVerizon apk that will work with the 7/30 nightly synergy rom? I've tried multiple apk files found in other threads addressing this issue, but I always install it and then get a maintenance error. I've ran the fix permissions tool in Rom Manager but still no luck. Is there any suggestions for this issue?

Thanks for the attempt to help. I already had the sso engine, but just for the hell of it I decided to go ahead and redownload this one. After installing this engine I had the same issue as before. Im not a developer so I have no idea what could be the problem, but it would be great if someone could figure this out. I believe many people who have the new capped data plans would appreciate this.

Unfortunately, ATM there is not a working MyVerizon for Gingerbread ROMs. The problem exists on Verizon's end. They won't build an app for Thunderbolts with Gingerbread because officially the Thunderbolt doesn't have Gingerbread.
The price we pay for rooting, I guess.
I want it back too but I can wait. I'm not sacrificing root access for one app.

I tried running that, and it wouldn't work, it said I had to update it. If you refuse the update, it closes. If you do update, it doesn't work.
I was using uberBAMF Sense 3.0.

Having trouble getting NFL mobile to work as well. From what I have gathered if you backed up data using TIBU these apks will work, if not your sol.
I am also on Gingeritis 3D VII, I installed My Verizon from this link and when I run the MyVZW and force me update. It screwed doesn't work anymore after updated. Just like Schedonnardus mentioned pretty much same issue in my side.

Any luck on modifying the updated version?
I am assuming you get the message that you have to install some vz log in software to use the app if so I found a work around. i loaded the latest ruu and backed up all system data using titanium. Once I did that I flashed back to bamf and then used titanium to restore the com.vzw.permissions apk once I did that I rebooted and my Verizon started to work. When I get to work tomorrow ill try to post the apk so we can see if it works for others

It should install no problem, but if you guys have a problem drop the file into system/app folder using root explorer. Once installed reboot then download my Verizon from the market.

I gave it a shot, but no luck. Still saying maintenance error or something along those lines. I think im just going to flash back and copy the working file myself. I've just been being lazy.

The 5.0.1.0 5x recovery is borked it makes backups ok but will not restore them. phone freezes on white htc screen. Hopefully they will fix this

The thing that sucks is newer people root and then d/l ROM Manager and as soon as they open it it says "hey flash this new broke a$$ recovery." So they do it cuz newer is better right?? Then we get 43 threads titled my ROM won't flash/backup won't restore/ yadda yadda yadda.

I use team win recovery and have no problems.
Yeah it is!!! Had to go to an older version,vversion 3 which works good for me I did 2 major my back up and titanium back up

This is a noobish question, so I apologize. But haha I'll just go ahead and ask in case.
So i downloaded the Synergy ROM, and wanted to take a look at the themes in Synergy Updater. When I tapped "check now", no themes showed up. What's going on? The server is all up and there too. Do I have to change the server?

I just flashed Synergy and i dont even have synergy updater. unless i cant find it. It came with Dconfig and thats it.
I do not think the Synergy updater works... I used Synergy for about two months and never could get it to work (don't think they use it).
Can I get in into recovery all l can do is reboot this phone. does this means my TB IS some what brick ?F! ROM M.

Have you tried turning the phone off then holding volume down + power untill the bootloader screen appears and then manually selecting recovery? ROM Manager tends to have issues.

reinstall rom manager and flash one ot the older cwm like the 4.0.1.5 not the 5.x.x.x
Try reflashing Clockwork recovery by following the instructions in [url="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179386]this[/url] thread. It sounds like your recovery got screwed up or wiped out somehow. Use version 5.0.2.1. I think the version 5 issues are fixed in that one. If you still have issues try using one of the version 4.x ones.

Thanks guys I did it and got my phone and just FYI version five don't work on my tb so I will stay away from ROM manager!!!!! I still couldn't do a back up in recovery cuz it says error on restoring boot image ,once!again o beloved my SD card corrupt
