hey guys.
back on my OG Evo 4G i was rocking a customized version of Vringo that I had whipped up. unfortunately it seems as if Vringo was pulled from the market and/or doesn't exist anymore.
I found a couple of apps, the best one so far is called Video Caller ID (free) and it seems to do what I want well. I have a very high bitrate .mp4 file and it looks amazing when I get a call. problem is the UI leaves much to be desired.
i've got the app on my desktop and will try to modify the layout and do some photoshop magic, but i'm wondering if there is already a decent (in features) and good-looking app that will do the same?
anyone else have a video ringtone app or like the idea of using one? let's talk about it.

Max, not sure if this will help. I've never even heard of vringo before. But I did find the apk for it after a little searching. Anything you could do with it maybe?

Haha its old as hello but the UI isn't too bad....I've been using the ZEDGE APP from the market for the longest time....I only used it for regular ringtones....still it works for me....JAYYYYY what's up guy?...hope things are good man

Haha, I remember that version of Vringo, and I might actually have it on an old sd (I'll hafta go through a bunch of them, but who knows?)
I used to rock the video and sound of the Metal Gear Solid codex thing, and it was awesome. (Thanks, forgot about that..)

I don't have that problem with mine. i've received class, I answer with the video caller app and it goes straight to talking. don't have to answer twice.

thanks. i'm trying to move on from Vringo as it was pretty outdated even when it was out on the market. i'm trying to find something newer (and hopefully) better.
I think the one I have works nicely. i just need to do the themeing/modding myself, and don't have much time
Myxer is a great app for ringtones..

That's easy to do. Use any video ring tone like what I'm using. Download a video of the dancing Droid and you are set.

everytime I check one of the video post on youtube, it always show 2d on my phone, how do you guys get to see the videos in 3d?

Most videos work on youtube using 3d some do not, you just have to see which ones do, by the way keep your toggle switch on 3d and look through the youtube app on your phone there should be a 3d logo near it. showing if the video is 3d or not, but the one i posted should work a 100%.

Try restarting your phone and use WiFi or 4g when you're watching the video. This used to happen to me too.

i watched this one but the one i posted goes to the extreme with 3d and its not widescreen like that one is its full screen.
That was insane. That one got saved to SD. Nice know mp4 format plays 3d.

Not much if any 3d for me. Sure its high quality view but tilting device shows its pactically non existant. Seems better then nothing. I think its just how the screen gets that shiny highlights and the the original quality. Not 3d though.

Really then why does the screen look so weird when you switch off the video while it's playing. It's definitely 3D.

that one is 3d except doesn't look that crazy the effects are barley noticeable, the only part i like is when snow is getting shot at the camera other than that it looks like a normal 3d video.
Best thing to do is download tubemate and download them straight to your phone and watch. And show them off later to friends and family.

You can watch his video full screen and 720p with the jetVD app (just hit the fullscreen button next to the timeline thingy). You can also download the movie for later uses when your alone haha . I use jetVD because the youtube app doesn't let me watch music videos.

I have not seen anyone mention this app from the market, sorry please dont flame me if its been mentioned.
This game is really a 3D game, not any intructions on how to play since almost all shooting games are the same. The controls are kinda tricky since they are really low and game is kinda laggy. The best part is that it is free and if you dont like it just uninstall it.

MrDiaz I never noticed that since I usually always kill all my apps regardless from the shortcut on the Quick Settings.
Im glad all of yall liked it I randomly typed EVO 3D in the market and this game came up and I thought it was going to be like Speedx3D but to my surprise it was actually 3D and just thought I should share it with all of US.

I actually think it looked more 3d without the actual 3d update. If you play with 3d enabled...it just doesn't look right.
Ya. Great feel to the game, but it feels far to similar to Alien Swarm online for pc. At least if they copy that game completely, We will have one fun addicting game. If you have not tried alien swarm, it looks very similar, but you play with three others online. Really great game. Even the small amount of 3d games Make the E3D worth every penny!?!

This game is the preloaded trial game when you download unity, the dev only made it 3d, that's why it has no instructions and has to be force closed, it was only meant to showcase what unity can do, it does look sweet thought

Sup guys I want to know if anyone is having any issues with zedge?? Like zedge is not getting all the wallpapers.... Like how when you open zedge and it tells you how many wallpapers ringtones it has.....like my count stood at 1,034......I uninstalled I redownloaded i cleared cache I switched roms ...the whole nine and I can figure out why zedge is acting up!!!! Any ideas

It sounds like it is showing how many Zedge has available for download. Not what you have on your phone.
I believe it goes by the model of your phone. So if you had the Evo 4g before you would get a ton more, but being how we have a Qhd screen, it's not going to display that many because there isn't many that will look nice on our display.

Yep. It'll only load the proper ones with your resolution. Figured that out quick Haha. But the app is still great for everything. Especially ringtones. I can find anything on there!

I haven't tried on wifi but when I go to the video it just plays two videos side by side...
Edit: I just tried it on wifi and it worked.

I use YouTube downloader from my computer & rip YouTube 3d vids to h.264 mp4 files to my computee.g. Drag to my a card. Got like 50 3d vids on my phone.

it's a cool music app. i'm all about music games and apps. not really that big a deal, but it's cool that it finally came to Android. I would have loved it last summer when I had my Xoom and a 10" screen to play with it on. now i'm on my Evo so it's a lot smaller screen space
oh well. it works great. that's what matters.
When I try to install it on my Xoom, it says "There is a problem parsing the package."
