[Resolved] "Your device is not compatible with this item." [Resolved] - Optimus One, P500, V General

Hi,
Suddenly i have this wired issue, i am trying to update FaceBook and Market gives me a message "Your device is not compatible with this item."
I am using GB 2.3 v20 G, with Fanco's latest kernel 2.35, Market version 3.1.5 and LCD density set to 140
Any idea why do i face this issue or anyone else facing similar issue.
For me the issue was resolved by trying below mentioned steps.
To fix the market you go in manage applications:
1. Find Google frame work, clear all data and then force stop
2. Find Market.apk – then clear cache & data, then force stop.
3. Then, open ROM manager and fix permissions.
4. After the permissions have been fix, boot into Clockwork from ROM manager. And then format the Cache Partition.
5. Now reboot and test.

Hi,
I've have the same problem.
But when I set my density to 160, I can downloald all I want
Try to switch your density to 160, download, and switch again to 140
Cheers

Having this problem on my EVO with CM7.1
Tried the above procedure exactly and still get the same error
I do have ROM Toolbox installed whereby i've changed the LCD density so i tried setting it to 160 and back to 220 and same error

Try with LCD Resolution and set 'Always Set On Boot'
It work with my P500

[Q] MArket FIX NOT WORKING D:

I followed the market fix properly and these are the steps i had done:
1. open market, once it loaded i pressed home
2. settings, applications, manage applications, all applications then market, clear cache, force stop followed by a googleserviceframework, clear data, force stop
3. reopened, got the error
4. rebooted, and let it sit for a minute to let everything "normalize"
5. opened market
6. rebooted again
nothing changed T___T
please help
btw i am running Beasty's 2.2.1 rom (yeah i know no market fix required but the market didn't work from the start)
EDIT: nvm i repartitioned my sdcard and everything works

market not compatible

hey guys , im running dsc latest rom 0.7 but after installing 0.7 i cant install any apps from market it says their incompatible, even apps ive already got installed are not getting updates
ive tried, changing dpi but still not working
sorted now
ive got same problem
how did u solve it?
thanks
From my experience,
you have to reset the lcd dpi back to original (use lcd resolution for root, pm me for the app, only after thanking me!!!), clear market data, reboot your phone, voila it will work.
Edit: always remember to make backups
1. Edit the build.prop with root file explorer or similar
2. Find the lcd line, it's somwhat obvious
3. Change the number value to 160
4. Under app settimgs in the system settimgs clear all data for market app
(Optional)
5. Boot into recovery mode and clear cache and dalvik cache then reboot
Finally start market app and see your problems dissappear

p4wifi
cm-10.1-20130129-NIGHTLY-p4wifi.zip
gapps-jb-20130121-P75xx.zip
Hello,
I have the same problem as described by Fire_cat and I did the same steps to overcome it. I did research the forum to try to get a better understanding of this issue, to no avail. I also experience the same problem with CM9 and CM10 with appropriate gapps for these versions.
I disabled goo applications and was able to install one app successfully Rom Toolbox Pro after which the problem started all over again.
This strange behavior appeared 6 days after me first rooting and flashing CM10.1. Strange because it happened overnight when the day before everything was smooth.
Whenever I load Play Store, install or update an app, it will download it and when it hit 100%, the tablet (P4wifi) crash and I can see the CM Logo for a minute. As said, I cleared all cache and data multiple times, fixed permission before and after.
Thanks for your help
N
Just a quick update.
Las night, I started over but this time using the gapps-jb-20121207-wingray-signed.zip someone suggested might help.
It was unstable untill I disabled all google apps, launched Play Store, downloaded Opera and then rebooted to the CM logo.
I also tracked this post describing the problem on the Nightly discussions :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37335696&postcount=765
EDIT:
I started all over again, this time using the last gapps-jb-20130129-P75xx.zip, Still as soon as I log into my Google Account when first booting the tablet, it systematicaly crash. Gmail is acting normaly. Any attemp to download an app will reboot the tablet. Some random crash.
For the sake of it, I tried with a different google account. Same problem.
And how to solve the damn reboot problem
I was finally able to restore to a functional CM10.1 with latest Gapps and install apps from Play Store without crash!
I was unable to connect the tablet to my mac or pc using Debug options.
On my mac through DDMS, I was able to access the file system but not to completely browse it.
So I decided to navigate the file system on CWM to see what it looked like. I noticed that the file architecture was very wrong; In /sdcard was and other /0 with inside an other /0, so the file system was repeating itself as many time as I tried to install CM10, CM9 and CM10.1 without never formating /system.
Here's what I did to get a stable tablet:
1) Use odin to flash the latest CWM (Choose yours on droid basement(cant post link))
2) Reboot in recovery
3) Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache and Data
4) Format /System
5) Reboot, put tablet in debug mode, drop latest Nightly and latest Gapps
6) Reboot in recovery and install both from sdcard (no more recurent directory showing)
7) Reboot and get a stable tablet.
Voilà
I'll try to help if you encounter a similar problem. I come from the iOS world so I'm not that much experienced with droid.

[Q] Cache corrupted - Reboot - Wipe cache manually ?

Hello Everybody,
I am havin a weird issue with my i9300 and slim rom 4.4.4.
Let me explain : I was using spotify with the app Rotate to force spotify to launch in landscape mode.
So i used a specific rule in Rotate in order to do that.
The issue is that Rotate is a paid app with 7 day trial, so after 7 days the app ceased to worked.
The issue starded here : Spotify ceased to work and at each launch i got a reboot.
I think the issue come with the fact that rotate wrote something at the launch of the app, and as rotate is no longer working, the code induce a reboot.
i tried everything of course : reinstalled rotate, desactivate the specific rule for Spotify of course, but same issue.
The weird issue is that when i try to uninstall Spotify (via google play, or any other third party app) i also get the reboot !
I the tried to wipe cache by rebooting in recovery (i use TWRP) but the issue is trill there : i cannot get into recovery, i have the TWRP logo, and then reboot ! I guess there is something really wrong written by rotate into the files of spotify, and when i boot into recovery, when the cache files are read, boom, reboot.
I also got the reboot when i try to wipe cache using thir party app like ccleaner or else. The analyze starts, and boom reboot i guess when the cache files of spotify are read I guess.
So now my questions :
Is there any way to safely manually uninstall spotify via removing files via a file explorer ?
Same question for the cache, can I remove manually the cache / dalvik cache manually ?
I tried to wipe data via system / clear cache, but same thing, reboot when the app spofity data are read I guess.
Everything else is working perfectly on my phone.
Thanks in advance,
Any ideas ?
I need help
