The HTC Jetstream is awesome devise, remaining only to have root access to be complete
But when I check the development forum. I think there is no big efforts to root the device
We want to know what the situation now and if any support require. Let us know

I have my hands on a HTC DEV jetstream that's already S-OFF, and rooted. If anyone knows how to grab some data off this device, then i'll do so.

A team of devs in the HTC Incredible 2 forum found a way unlock the bootloader via an exploit. I just read an article somebody posted in our development forum. I just wanted to make a thread so more people are aware. It could be something for the devs to look into that could possibly lead to our phones being rooted.

I don't see it hurting our chances. If nothing else it may give un an approach and method to try with the E3D.

Could you not even link the thread so we could take a look at what you are talking about?
The hack is done by alpharevx team just google it.
But this didnt help them root they already had temp root through gingerbreak. This gives them full s-off evidently.

I am looking to sell my HTC Flyer as it is no longer required
The tablet is rooted and has The ROM I created on it called IOIDroid Senseless Edition, you can view more about the ROM in the development thread.

So you're leaving Flyer development? That's really sad. Others are mentioning Dexter busy with other devices. So with you gone, it seems that development may really be over for the Flyer.

Is there a way to get s-off in the rooting process? This is crutial for my rooting needs as I minipulate frame work in themes to get it to my liking I am holding out until someone finds s-off I know it's hard to crack but I am just patiently waiting so any update on progress would be most appreciated

You don't need s-off to do the things you want to do, please read about htcdev.

Because if someone takes 3 seconds to read and understand the rules of the forums and looks for an answer before posting the boards wouldn't be cluttered with stupid things. Could I explain things in a more "polite" manner? Absolutely. We've all asked stupid questions before, and it has been my experience that if someone is politely corrected they will ask more stupid questions. Also I would not really call it "nerd rage" or flipping out. I simply made the important parts in caps to highlight important information, as it has been show common sense escapes the individual.

To be honest no it's not alright. I have had warnings for being less offensive by other moderators. Just because he can compile a kernel he gets off scott free time and time again. We can all compile kernels it's not that hard. So if i go and compile a TWRP or a CWM. Can i speak to people how i feel with no repercussions like kraizk?

Okay here it is. I am from the AT&T HTC One X forums. Currently we recieved a jelly bean update. 3.18.502... And no developers are even attempting to work on it. I have created a thread and a bunch of members have added some input. All we want is A root exploit and to unlock our bootloaders. If anyone can get a dev from here to come help us out that would be FANTASTIC!!!
