Is there a Civilization type game for tabs? I came across Revival 2, but its doesn't look very good.

That looks awesome, but it isn't available in either the Marketplace or the Gameloft stores for the Tab.

That's the reasoning behind the apk download. You can just install it through ADB, no need for a market download.
I guess what I was saying is I would rather pay for it from one of the market places to ensure the developers get their $$$$. Plus I didn't see the APK on that site, so they might have pulled it.

agree, i don't see the apk file anywhere on that site and i wouldn't defiantly want to play this game.

If its a paid app, don't ask for the APK. We don't support piracy here, sorry.

I found a couple of links to it by just Googleing it...
But I agree with Tivo here... It's from GameLoft, means it's a paid app. If you feel the need to steal go for it.
Also with a little searching you'll find out why the apk files were pulled from tablet sites... The Settlers HD is small screen only. No support for Android tablets yet.

When I saw this thread...i literally just went to google and searched "Android civilization game tablet"
It's not on the market. Before you speak can you do research please. And as for the Google search, none of those links work anymore, as I had already stated. I would love to see a RTS game on a tablet as well so I do hope some company decides to make one.
and don't say you don't support piracy when your the one giving out the links and by asking for the APK doesn't mean I plan on pirating it. I would purchase it available if it were available on the market, which it isn't.

on my atrix and i cant find it in the market from the atrix (used market enabler to no avail), i even tried from the above android market link to install it from there over the google account but it simply wouldnt install... so my question is if anyone has the app installed and/or if there is a method to install it manually? (im using it on a cyanogenmod 7.0.3 nook color without a problem...)

caught me slipping there forgot to ask if he had restored a backup from Titanium or something, if so you can also fix permissions with root tools, recovery (i think) or using the app recommended by Wired.

I want that app too!! No, you wont be able to install Google Body on anything that doesnt run Honeycomb. Right now only a few tablets have HC. When Ice Cream Samach comes out it will be available on both phones and tablets; merging Gingerbread and Honeycomb. Your on Froyo. F G H I
Edit: what you need to do is sign in when your browsing the market through a browser. It will then let you know if the app is available on your device. THEN you will be able to download apps through the browser (if they "work" on your phone).

It's a free game, so I can't see anything wrong with distributing it to other people. For some reason though, I can't download it to my device. I don't know if it's an actual device incompatibility (I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab and Prevail; both were incompatible), or if it's simply because I'm not in Japan (I'm in North America)
In any case though, could someone possibly get a hold of that game's .apk and upload it somewhere for me (and whoever else might want it)? To show my thanks... I'll give you a Thanks!

hmm, I tried it out and switched over to a Japan market, but still no luck :/
Not sure if I need to use a proxy or not, or if the app is simply not compatible with my tablet (although, I really don't see how it wouldn't be compatible)

The newer markets (3.x) seem to use IP addresses and stuff, not sim cards, so a proxy or vpn would be needed in that country

No, it's not in the play store if you're running ICS, most likely because it is not listed as compatible. However, the apps often work fine anyway.
It's the same for "LBE Privacy Guard" for example, you will only find it in the market for Android 2.X devices but not on Honeycomb or ICS. If you get the apk, however, it installs and runs fine on all devices.

I just gave it a try, downloads fine on my linux machine.
On my phone, I usually use Dolphin browser but I also do have Firefox Mobile installed. Although Firefox is fairly slow and I prefer to use Dolphin for my main browsing activity, it usually is able to display/do most of the stuff that the other browsers have problems with. So whenever I get graphical glitches, unresponsive links, failed downloads, etc. I usually give it a try on Firefox. Maybe that might work for you, too.

Hahaha That file from Media Fire wasn't even the actual application. I'll just nand back to gingerbread (a long task for s-on...) then copy the apk to my sdcard. Unless someone else can just post their .apk real quick?

you can buy it on gameloft website, they will send you a direct dl link for the apk file and it will work (did it this way) or just dl in sam. apps as said before..

I did email Gameloft regarding this matter, I just would like to know why the Galaxy S III is incompatible. It's the most powerful android phone today. The Note 2 phablet being second.

Game will check on start for a new version and you can update also through Samsung Apps. But not directly in play store though.

I have tried looking for the themer launcher in the play store on my phone and in the play store viaa browser. and i cant seem to find it. the link on the website gives a bad url.

there is already a post about this in this forum m8,themer shows fine for me in playstore although there have been some issues with other users having similar problems
Google Play filters apps available to your device and OS combination. I have an old phone and it didn't show up in the app store. After i updated it to KitKat, there it is. Try searching the store from a computer. it is definitely still there.
No it isn't. They've confirmed the problem on Twitter. It's been removed.
Was it removed by Google do you know? Is it permanent? It even disappeared off of the devices I had it on!

Unfortunately Themer has been temporarily removed from the Play Store. It should be up soon though, however we can't give an exact ETA. We will have more details soon regarding the issue.

You should be hating on Google in this instance. They pulled the app from the Play store when Themer already removed the IOS theme according to the article.
Come on Google. Get the app back up already!
