Gameloft Game - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

My phone version is 2.3.4 (not rooted yet) and i try to install gameloft game without downloading via wifi like this:
1) download apk and sd file
2) install apk then copy sd file to Gameloft/game/....
3) launch the game
but why it still ask for additional file download? i read some forums and people do like this and they can play that game... but why can't I? help me, please

I'm pretty sure this sort of request is against the forum rules but in case it's not I'll just say to check your directories.

i'm sorry i'm new here so i don't really understand...

Well I feel your request is kind of against the forum rules after reviewing them so all I can say is that this isn't the place to ask that question and instead you should be asking wherever you got the file from.
Basically if you don't obtain things the legit way then it's your own problem I'm afraid and has no business being on a legal forum.

Thanks for your answers
Hey
Yea your phone is rooted otherwise you would have not been able to install a custom ROM.
I'm not going to describe the APPS2SD method just search it on the forum, there is a tutorial somewhere.
If you download a file manager (Astro/Linda) you can add .apk files onto your SD card and install it through that. There is no specific place for .apk files you just have to search about, your best bet is probably using torrent downloads.
That isgenerally a problem with your internet speed/connection so there is very little you can do unless you are willing to upgrade it. I don't think you can improve the phones WIFI status either :/
Hope I helped
As above. Apps2sd requires you to have partitioned before installing modaco 3.0 though. I didn't bother but if you want it, wipe and partition. Easily done with AMON RAs recovery image
Installing apks is simple with a file manager. I use Astro. Put the apk on to your sd card and navigate to it with astro and choose package manager to install, nothing simpler. It's just getting the apks .
Sometimes it can take a while for me to establish a connection with my router. Other than that, see this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=548807&page=2

help with my Dropad A8T

im a noob at hacking etc. and i have a few questions if anyone is able to help at all that would be great. I just got a Dropad A8T. I was able to Root it with GINGERBREAK but am still having some problems with it. I have a very limited market, low hundreds, and im sure thats because its from China. I learned how to edit the files so it will use all apps but after each reboot it always goes back to the original file not the edited. there are a few firmware links ive found around the net but they are on a Chinese website and google translate only goes so far and i can't seem to find a good firmware when i actually find one.
so i guess my questions are, how can i fully open the market and keep it open, and where can i get a new firmware? sorry if these have been asked before i searched for them but didnt find anything helpful.
I am presently using 4.0.3 on my Dropad A8T.
It was written (modded?) by a Russian group.

I do not speak Russian but you select the big red button on the right to download it.
The steps to install it can be found elsewhere. I wont give you them because I would hate to miss something and mess you up.
Here is the link of where I discovered a lot of info.

[Q] How to make an patch-application for Android?

Ok sorry guys my English is pretty messed up.. I’m going to try to explain it as good as possible.
I would love to make a Save Patcher-app for the game Zenonia 3 (I want to replace my save file with the users save file on the device) (on Google Play) So far I know is that you need to make a script in Java (A simple one i only need to overwright the files with the one in the app) Could some one help me or something.. the really hard part is putting the script in an Application is where i came for. Well why i wan’t to do this? Becouse you can’t acces the maps without a root on your mobile device (These are found in the directory ‘’ /data -> /data -> /com.gamevil.zenonia3.global’’ I found these with Hex Editor and obtained it with Titanium Backup (backupped the files and copied the files to my PC) It should look a bit like this app.. (Temple Run, I'm not permitted to post links)
I really don't have an idea to do this..

Install gapps on fake nexus 4

Hey y'all,
I have a customer with a google nexus 4, at least he thought so when he bought it from someone. After opening the package all the descriptions belonging to the phone where in chinese, which is weird but it still could bw a chinese produced phone. When googling the kernel number and discovering there was no play market nor support for google accounts I decided the device was a fake chinese piece of crap.
But forget all of the above, I found a way to install gapps anyway on this fake device, by just pushing all the folders of the flashable zip to the device, see the script I mirrored with DropBox. Unpack the script to some folder on your desktop and make sure usb debugging is turned on on your device. Then click install_gapps.bat and reboot your phone after the script is finished if it doesn't do this by itself.
I implemented the gapps for ICS-4.0.x, but if you want to install another gapps just place the "system" folder of the zip in de folder you just unpacked. In the script you can change wat you want to be pushed to your phone, the part which enables google accounts on your phone is located in system/lib I believe but I'm not sure so mod the script the way you want. The way it is now, it will enable google accounts
After this the phone has become a practically genuine nexus 4, with the exception is has different hardware and can't receive updates .
Please come back here for troubleshooting, I will try to help.

We need a sub forum for the Fake N4 I guess
Ehhrrm, whaat? This probably belongs somewhere else mate..
Why would people even bother using a fake n4?
1: send it back for a refund
2: if refund is not an option then throw it in the bin
3: buy a genuine N4!
Problem solve
Why is this in the forums? This isn't development.

Question regarding an app's file verification check when opening the app

I have an offline game that does a file verification check each time you open the game. This game is a port of a PC game and as such the file structure is identical. With other games like this I have been able to use mods available on the PC version but in this case the file check is recognizing that certain files are larger(HD res models and such) and won't get past the file check. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with file checks like this and how exactly they are being performed and how I could remove them whether that be modifications to the APK, EXE, or whatever it is. Any help would be much appreciated and I'd be more than happy to provide answers to any questions you might have.
