Not sure if it'll work, but MoBo Player + codecs have been working good for me
as stated above moboplayer is great. make sure its moboplayer, no spaces. the other ones a knockoff. i used to love mobo until i came across mx player
Mxvideo player is also a good bet. Whilst I am not sure if mobo has more codec support than mx or has ones that are missing from mx, I do know mx has ones mobo is missing,
Mx video player
I'm using MX Video Player 1.5
thanks for answers, now i am using mx player

Give Mobo Player a shot.. you wont regret it
MoboPlayer is great ,and is one of the most downloaded apps ,so give it a shot
I have been using Mobo player and i like it
MoboPlayer is the best video player
+Mobo player, can play almost all video formats, though I have already got a giveaway edition of aneesoft video converter for my video conversions.
Mx player
MX player has 3 modes of rendering, HW, SW and SW fast..
I'm not sure about MOBO though..will give it a shot and post!!
Mobo player is the best
mx video player is great but make sure while you play 720P video, codecs for your device are installed
And proper codec should be installed according to your deevice like ARMv7 if you have Xperia Mini Pro

MX video player is the best for me. I've also tried Rock player, but I like MX more. The only negative point is that MX has ads in the free version, but it's not really disturbing)
mx video works great for me...
I'll try mobo video player. I had a problem with Mx video player, i have class 10 8gb SDcard but when I watching m720p movie I think it's not fluent.
I'm using something called QQ player, I think, but I'll check out Mobo.
Mobo player for sure

Movie playback

The Rezound plays my MP4 Movies great. Tried playing a Movie in AVI format and the stock player will not have it. I downloaded another video player from the Market and the Movie does play nearly as sharp as the stock player does with the MP4 Movies. Any Ideas? Is there a way of using the stock player with AVI??
Vinny
Maybe the format of the AVI is not comparable to the MP4 you played?
Have you tried MX Video Player? You didn't mention which player you tried.

it's actually best to just convert everything to mp4
Thanks for the imfo.
I use mobo player for everything else.. avi's (Divx/xvid's....etc.)
fantastic... the language is a little lost in translation but the app works wonderfully and has a nice interface for scanning/seeking and volume control while watching a video.
mobo is ok but I'm another who prefers mx player
Try diceplayer.
You can play 1080p+DTS/AC3/AAC MKV/AVI files with Full HW Acceleration.
and dice has SMB/FTP/HTTP support, you can play over 4GB files from PC and NAS.
Great info guys, thanks again. Checking them all out. Amazing the choices available.

(app request) movie player

Well I'm looking for a movie player that can handle mp4 Iv tried pretty much every player on the market such as mx player mobo player Joe vlc Archos player and more all with various codecs downloaded as well some were paid apps that I had tp get my money refunded cuz they simply didn't work.
Now some mp4s work and others don't idk why.
You ask why mp4? Seems that's the formart of choice for that apple tv and I stream movies via an app thay way on occasionnow if there a better suited format that I can view on tab via some player and on th apple tv that's be great as well I'm.open to any suggestions atvthis point. Thanks
May try mx player again with additional Arm 7 Codec and hw+ enabled?

Mx player i think is the best for now, mp4 is just a container some codecs still can not be recognized even by hw+ you can link some sample video so someone can say if it works/
Just my 2 cent
No problem reproducing any movie mp4, divx, mov, mkv ... with DicePlayer it has a windows feature that impresses on our tab.

I did use Dice for a while, but it appear to be not compatible with many codecs that MX Player play in HW+ mode. SW mode on Dice looks much worst than HW+ on MX Player. I even paid for Dice, but have not used it for a while.
