Just got my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic touch where is the correct forum for this phone? I'm a little confused there's an original thread and then there's a new one? I'm not on bell or att but it appears everybody else is.

so i know it's basically a dolled up verson of the hercules but why does the snapdragon 1.5 chip so terrible? is this even a real galaxy s II? or is it just some crappy thing like the infuse 4g aka skydragon or whatever
Has anyone currently on the Galaxy S II previsouly came from using the Evo 4g? I am thinking about updating to this one, I have my upgrade but im pretty happy with the evo 4g and the development its recieved the past years..
But I wanted to get input if someone has switched from my phone to this and the pro's and con's..
I'd appreciate any input!

FYI, here's my input.
If you're on the Evo 4g currently, that means you're on Sprint. If you're asking specifically about the Galaxy SII for Sprint, you're asking the wrong group of people.
The Galaxy SII for Sprint is the SPH-D710. That forum is here.
THIS forum is for the GT-I9100, which is the international version of the Galaxy SII. Mostly sold outside of the US, but it DOES work on AT&T fully with mobile data speeds up to HSPA+. It also works on T-Mobile USA, but T-Mobile will only provide mobile data speeds up to Edge. This phone (GT-I9100) will not work on Sprint at all.
Has anyone found or is there working Wifi Tether for the Sprint Samsung Galaxy SII?

Best to check the sprint SGS2 (called epic 4G i believe?) section instead of the i9100.
I have been checking every few days, but does anyone know when sprint will be rolling out the ICS upgrade for the Galaxy SII?

I travel all over the world but my Samsung galaxy SII (Sprint) doesn't work outside the U.S.
Is there a software/MOD I can install it to make it work outside the U.S.

You're asking in the wrong forum. This is the forum for the international Galaxy SII, the GT-I9100. It is a GSM phone. It does not even work on Sprint's network.
Sprint Galaxy SII is the Epic 4G Touch. It is a CMDA phone. It has a separate forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1281
cdma phoes will not work moutside of your provider because they are locked to sprint only.
You need a GSM varient to have a world phone.
