crackling internal speaker - Blade Accessories

Anybody know where i can get a replacement speaker for my blade.Past a certain volume the speaker gets very distorted, like a blown speaker. Thanks for any help.

I got my provider to replace it for free. Maybe you can do that too.

I had the same problem, but for some reason it was linked to cm7 rom.
after i flashed one of the new 2.3.5 roms all the crackling seemed to be gone :S

guys, i'm using the cm7.1, 2.3.7 rom. But my audio isnt clear via the earphones nor through the phone speakers. What can be done, please reply...

For me it doesn't vary from ROM to ROM. It happens all the time. But i've problems only with the speaker. Does the faulty speaker come under warranty?

[Q] No audio from external speaker

Hey people
Woke up this morning and im not getting any audio at all from my external speaker. Not even bootup sound. Headphones and call speaker work fine
I'm running H3
GG
Make sure that it isn't in Silent mode, if it isn't then sad to say that your external speaker is gone. Service Center will be the only option.

Sometimes I need to "twist" the plug to find right position for it.
External speaker i mean the rear speaker on the phone that normally makes all the non call noises. Anyone experience this?

I'm currently having this problem as well. I'm on the latest checkROM, and I have tried 3 different kernels, thinking that was the issue, but it's still happening.
My sounds are playing through the phone speaker, and not the loudspeaker.
If I reboot the phone, the problem goes away for a while, but it eventually returns.
This has caused me to miss critical notifications and alarms, and I'm tearing my hair out trying to figure out what the heck is causing it.
Do I have to reflash the phone?
Any advice on this would be appreciated.
Sorry for the double post, but has anyone else experienced this?
Can anyone suggest a fix?
Go back to stock to rule a hardware issue in or out, I.E. if you still have the same problem on stock it's obviously a hardware problem and if you only seem to have the problem with your current rom/kernel the problem lies there.
If it does have the same problem on stock, factory reset & jig it to wipe the flash counter & hand it in for warranty service/replacement.

[Q] How to fix the speaker volume?

Hey guys,
I've been having an issue with the volume on my phone. There is very little sound coming out through the speaker on the back. To be able to hear anything at all, I have to stick the speaker right up to my hear and even then you can barely hear any sound even though I've put the volume on max. When I plug headphones in, the sound is fine. Only when I'm trying to listen to music without earphones or trying to hear my notifications and ringtone when someone calls me, it gets very little sound. I'm using AOKP Jelly Bean 4.1.2 if that helps. This starting happening when I was using my Nike+ Running app. Music was playing while I was running and then all of a sudden the music stops. I found out that it didn't stop because my music was still going when I plugged in headphones and the sound was still coming out of the speaker but very low that you could not hear it. If you guys have a solution, please help me out. Thanks.
I did have something familiar and was the headphones cable not properly connected...

I'm assuming you've tried doing a full wipe before posting this question, as if that fixed there would be no reason to post this question? If not, do that. That's always a trouble shooting step that should be done before posting. If it doesn't fix it, it could be a hardware issue.

Well that sucks man. Hope you can get it fixed. Apparently mobiletechvideos fixes phones for relatively cheap, could try them.

Had the same problem on a captivate one time. There was lint in the port for the headphones. Cleaned it out and speaker started working again.

Very low in-call volume

hi,
I just inherited a Photon 4G from a friend (for my wife) - so please humor me as a noob.
The biggest problem is that it has very low in call volume (i.e. ear speaker).
I thought it could be a faulty speaker, so I changed the speaker - but it is still low. Unfortunately, I'm on 2.3.5, but what can be done ?
Really not able to use the phone because of this.

Did you try factory restore. If its software problem that might help.
In the play store there are apps that boost the audio.

[Q] Xperia u external speaker

hey guys, my xperia u's external speaker has became very low, and even the ringtone is not audible from like 5-6 feets away. i tried flashing stock ROM and the speaker volume improved a bit, (i know AOSP and CM ROMs have low volume) but its still not that ok. My guess is that its a hardware related issue, and in that case i should get the speaker replaced, so my question is, how much will it cost? and if i get it replaced with a duplicate speaker, will it work if i change ROMs? and if its a software related issue, what else can i do other than flashing stock ROM. Also, the speaker feels distorted apart from being very low. Currently using stock ICS. Thanks.

Sound dips after a minute of music playback

My speaker got distorted within warranty and I got it changed but this happened before too, while playing music the sound would dip automatically and not come back up till I paused or the song ended.
The problem became persistent day by day and then distorted.
Now after changing the speaker, the problem is all over repeating itself.
Please help me.

Are you using Viper4android and have enabled bass or other settings? For me sound increases on earphones (since i have enabled this on magisk) after some time.

No I am not using any kind of sound mod.
I was afraid that using anything will worsen the condition.
I am talking about the speaker volume, earphones volume does not change for me.
Please try to play loud music for about 5 to 6 minutes, you may notice the change somewhere in between, and when I pause for 2 seconds and play again the volume restores but the dip happens again after some time.
The duration before the dip continues to get reduced with time. ?

My phone have the same problem. it is because of phone using earpiece as second speaker. The loudspeaker is good enough to play loud sound. But the second speaker (earpiece) is not powerful enough. So volume decreases itself to avoid damaging the earpiece speaker. If someone finds a way to disable earpiece speaker, Then loudspeaker can get very loud and there will be no distortion or decrease in volume by itself.

So there is no solution for us yet, although not all are complaining with us.
Doesn't this happen with everyone?
Just the armored edition?
I have noticed the problem isn't there on mi8 port of miui 11 on android 10 for miroom.
Can someone confirm?
But there is memory leak on that rom, ram consumption is at it's peak and gets slow if not restarted.

I have the same problem before. its because of dust i think, after i gave it for a display replacement at authorized service center, they cleaned everything and replaced display. after that the problem is solved. and they didn't replaced the speaker. my advice is to go to service center and get it serviced.
