case's with access back panels for batteries - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

I'm hoping to see case's that have removable backs so we could switch out batteries without removing the whole case.
Does anyone know of a case maker that has this ?

I've looked around a little, but haven't seen any. I was about to ask the same thing!

How about this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SGP-Neo-Hybrid-EX-Series-Case-Champagne-Gold-Samsung-Galaxy-S2-/370544687974?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item56462f3b66

Check out the thread about the Taurus Bumper Case.

I'm actually looking for something quite opposite, a case that replaces/integrates the battery cover to save on weight and bulk. If any one finds one, can you let me know.

This case does not have a removable battery cover, it's actually a 2 part case, a silicone cover, and then a plastic "band" on top of it.

This one allows you to remove the battery cover.
SGP Neo Hybrid Ex = removable battery cover, bumper style case.
SGP Neo Hybrid = non removable due to 1 piece silicone covering the whole back.

Case for TYTN/Hermes with extended battery

Does anybody know of a decent case for those of us using extended batteries on our devices?
I have a 2400mah Cameron Sino battery which unfortunately renders my silicon cut-away case pretty useless.
Case for use with extended battery
From the pictures at their website, looks like this case will work with the use of an extended battery. The back of the phone faces outward and you can see the full outline of the battery cover.
http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=589
that looks nice, but I still worry about the whole clip and such falling off. I've dropped my Axim so many times that without the magnesium case...
Case for use with extended battery
That would be impossible because the clip does not detach from the holster, it's permanetly attached The only way the phone could fall is if you drp it after you pull it from the holster.

Those type of holsters do fall off with the device attached especially if you don't wear a belt.

Modding the OB Commuter Case for Ext. Bat?

Has anybody tried modding the OB Commuter case to fit the extended OEM battery? I wonder if its really possible.

Gonna say no it's not unless you could cut out a square for the battery in the stock door and the case parts, you'd still need some way to protect the battery and keep it in.
I've wanted to attempt this, cut a hole in the back of the stock battery cover and rubber sleeve of the otterbox, then hope theres enough room for the hard cover of the commuter to seal and hold the battery in. I don't have an extended battery yet though so i'm not sure how much room is needed.
Are you gonna try doing it once you get the xtended battery?
I think you might have to cut the otterbox hard plastic too. Maybe not, but I think it would be a very tight fit. I would definitely pick up an extended battery if it can be done without though.
I remember seeing that someone did it. I will try and find the post.
edit: here it is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22809448&postcount=26
I'm talking about the Commuter case, not the defender case which is bulkier already.

Yeah, it definitely won't fit without modification to the plastic, which would defeat the purpose. Even without the rubber shell and no battery door, the plastic still doesn't really fit over the extended battery.

Yeah I think you'd only be able to use the rubber part like the mod linked above, the plastic part clips on pretty tight.

lol oh sorry. I'm sure it could be modified. But because its not very bulky you would end up with an exposed battery. The extended battery extendeds quite a bit out of the standard battery door. Doont have a ruler on me now but I would say its at least or more than 1/8" extended out. If the case doesn't add more than that, it will be exposed.

No, but it's always good to have a replacement in case you run out of juice and are away from AC. If you leave home for a few hours and have about 30% you're forced to recharge anyway because obviously, 30% won't suffice to fill in a few hrs, unless phone is on standby most of the time.
Incipio
Hyperion tpu until a case like the below comes out for it. :fingers-crossed: Then I will put on a glass protector and xtreme guard on the back. Schweeeet!

I've never had a bumper case on any of my phones; do they actually protect anything?
thanks
Normal thin .7mm bumper will protect from dings and scratches. The bumper I posted above can be abused and not hurt the phone. Keep in mind it doesnt protect glass or back. Thats why I go with tempered glass and xtreme back.

Sorry. Xtreme Guard backing. It's a knockoff version of Zagg that is IMO (I have used a lot of them) exactly the same. They always have a discount code that takes 85-90% (yes, really) off the price with free shipping so trying one out is worthwhile.
thanks, I hate Zagg on my screen, its so orange peely and slows down finger swiping, but I do like to put that kind of stuff on the back and sides, when I don't feel like a case, but want to protect the phone. Do you know if they make a back and side kit, or do you have to buy the entire phone package?
I'm not a big fan of wet applications, but for the back and sides its not too bad
thanks!

Leather quick circle case with magnet?

I'm kind of a huge fan of leather cases. I had one for my S4 for the whole time I had it. I really want one for the G3, but the only one I can find that has the hole for Quick Circle doesn't have a magnetic clasp, so it'll just fall open. Does anyone know of a case similar to this one, but with a magnet to keep it closed?

I would recommend waiting for some more circle cases to come out and just get a nice normal case, but if you really want the case with the magnetic clasp and you could always cut the screen protector out.(or in my case a dremel tool cause the plastic is very tough and thick) That's what I did with a circle case I did not realize had a screen protector in.

If you look at the official LG quick case you can see that it does not have a screen protector and that's because you need to be able to touch that portion of the screen to use all the quick circle features like messaging or changing music. The screen protector just gets in the way.

The case I posted doesn't have a screen protector or a magnet. I really don't even need the quick circle part. I just want a genuine leather case. I suppose you are right about waiting though. For now, I ordered the one I originally posted. It's not as bad not having a magnet as I thought it would be, but this one also uses fake leather, so that's kind of disappointing.

the magnet is kinda of a double edge sword. Helps protect it by keeping it closed during a fall but you do have to pry it open a little bit as their probably a little stronger then they need to be. Case has a nice texture and feel to it. The circle window has a very thick clear screen making the screen very unresponsive, I ended up just cutting it out.. Very confident that this cover would protect the phone in a fall. No cut out for the notification light . Also putting a debit card in the interior slot makes the auto/off and circle notifiication seldom work. I have a Zagg glass screen protector and I'm not sure if its it or the lg screen is just picky when it comes to working the circle app. Not a bad case though.

Just found a decent case on eBay.

Looks like 3 colors available at the moment. I need rugged protection in a fairly slim package. Kickstand is a nice plus.

The case itself doesn't come with a kickstand. The slots in the back you put a card (credit card, ID, or something like that) in there and it will prop your phone up.
The case has a small card under the plastic outer layer where it hides. It includes the actual "kickstand".
Ordered the metal slate. Hopefully it gets here before my nexus 6.
the phone is curve so in order to store a card in the back means this case is very thick
