Hi guys, I have a rooted Xperia Neo, but it is boot locked and I can't un-lock it. I was just wondering if there is a way to overclock it still.

For overclocking you need custom kernel.
Flashing custom kernel you must be UNLOCKED bootloader.
And. No your cant overclocki.
Why you cant unlock your bootloader??

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I've tried to unlock it but the phone just goes to charge mode when i hold the menu button on boot. Is there another way around this?

I get a green light when holding down the back button, is this the button I need to press? Just asking, as the video run throughs all seem to press the menu button and a blue light appears.

Which ROM ?
Try this :
1)Boot CWM and Wipe cache factory reset
2)Start phone normally , then shutdown
3)Uninstall the ADB drivers on your PC , use ones provided in flashtoool
4)Try flashing Now
If still no working then
~Try flashtool on another PC, a clean one
Set up ANdroid SDK and drivers afresh
~Try many data cables
I used 6-7 cables and a Blackberry one worked
Arrr no joy never mind good excuse for new phone

I rooted my x10i using DooMLoRD’s Easy Rooting Toolkit. Do unlock BL also have that kind of toolkit? Your respond is much appreciated :laugh:

I also want to unlock my x10's bootloader with flashtool, my cutrent rom is dixperia 8 stock based (2.3.4, if necessary i can return to stock...)
however i cant find any settings when i click on "plugin".
it doesnt even show a popup or window....
any idea what im doin wrong?

It will only appear if your phone is on stock rom/kernel of 2.1 or 2.3.3. So first go to official stock rom and it will apear.

remember unlocking bootloader is only optional. Stock based custom roms and kernels work with locked bootloader.
If you want to unlock bootloader, you will find a good guide here:

Also no need to install xrecovery if you unlock bootloader. Just flash any custom kernel for unlocked bootloader

If you are using wt19i then instal Xperia mini x10 driver
You have to do nothing extra just flash custom kernal.
means connect your phone with holding volume up key aka fastboot mode and in Flashtool you will see device connection log click on flash icon on top left and select fastboot mode then select kernel to flash then browse your kernel it is boot.img file click on that and Flashtool will instal kernel automatically. Disconnect and Restart the phone and when blue led glows click volume down you will see cwm recovery. Means your phone rooted. When you open the phone you will find superuser installed

As i promissed here the final build for the SGS2 JB Theme!
Now flashable with CWM!
ONLY FOR XXLH3
Intructions:
1) if you have not installed cwm yet install it from Zaclimon's thread Here:

2) Download my theme from here:
http://gtabandroid.googlecode.com/files/SGS2JBTheme-YPGS1.zip
3) boot to CWM (Turn of the device and hold down power and volume down but when you see samsung let go the power button but keep holding the volume down button until you are in cwm!)
4) Go to install Zip from sdcard--->choose zip from sdcard and choose the theme and hit yes wait until it is done and enjoy!
NOTE:
In Cwm this are the controls:
- Volume up = Up
- Volume down = Down
- Power = select

No Only for EU model
What makes it EU only? I looked through the files in the theme and couldn't think of which part would make it no good for US devices

You can Always try it but i am sure systemui etc... will crash

Id guess its soft bricked. If u can get.into recovery and.have a recovery, then restore. If the restore acts funny, it could be that u need to re-flash the appropriate kernel.
If u can't get into recovery, flash a.ROM via Odin/heimdall
