Hello,
Im looking to upgrade my neo to 2.3.4 from 2.3.3. The phone is an unlocked/unbranded model However it is detected as a Vodafone neo by Google market. The phone is not rooted. When using the upgrade checker on the phone I see no updates listed.
Which is the best upgrade method? Wotan server or flash tool?If I were to use wotan which of the two versions do I use Nordic or Baltic since there is no UK/GB version listed?

Which of the two available updates on wotan server should I use for the UK biotic or Nordic? I see they both include the same languages.

I was originally on UK generic unbranded FW. When the update came out I switched to Nordic 2.1 FW. Does anyone know how I can switch back to UK generic 2.1 FW? I'm asking coz I wanna get the English keyboard back. Also to regain my warranty
I used the same method as u. Still am on the nordic version. I have always had the English keyboard. Not sure why u haven't.

i`ve flashed to nordic as well and then reflash to generic and dont have any problems
hey guys,
just updated my x10 to 2.1 n I am surprised to say that I actually am surprised to say that I am liking it more than before.
I have to say android guys are doing great and hope their good work continues.
I am staying in Dubai and have been considering to flash my x10 to Nordic firmware since I bought it.
I would like to know if we can flash x10 to Nordic firmware without rooting it? Or is rooting compulsory? n I hope that would get me the market application

No it doesn't need rooting it just need seus installed before starting

Or
The decrypted 2.1 orange Rom is available to download in the decrypted roms thread.

great.... so does flashing bring me the market application here in UAE (dubai)??
Moreover another question is I have already updated to 2.1
So can I still follow the general flashing rules with the available Nordic Rom or is there something different with a 2.1 updated version.

hi,
i tried to find the last android update for my u20i. but seus can't find an update. it siad, the newest software is installed but my build-number is: 2.0.A.0.504 and the last should be the 2.0.2. ...
is this update for all u20i's ?
You will have to wait until your provider releases the new update for you. Or try to flash the generic build in the forums.

Did you try the seus update tool or pc companion? Otherwise you can ask for clean rom and use binarys flasher to do so!

before i flash my mini with the new firmware, ist there a changelog for the firmware? is it a bugfix or are there new functions? what the difference between the new firmware and 2.0.A.0.504

Hey, i have searched around on the net, but i can't find a generic Nordic firmware for my Mini Pro, and i kinda need it, as i just have re-locked my phone. I only got the one Doomlord shared, and with that i can't use my native writing on the keyboard (æøå, i'm Norwegian), and the only chance i think i got to get the keyboard working with my language again is with a Nordic firmware.
Anybody got firmware, or have another suggestion?

Guys I want to flash my 1257-6758 Xperia S (.62) to .73 Since .73 is not available for Indian users I would like to know that .72 version of which country do i need to flash and i would also keep my warranty of my phone intact.
That's up to you. I would recommend Norway generic fw
You wont loose your warrenty if you flash any of the available firmwares. Even apps, settings and so on will remain intact if u flash but make sure you uncheck "wipe data" in flashtool.
