I was wondering if a themer can come up with a skin for sense 3.0 that uses the 3.5 dock? I like the smooth look of sense 3.5, but I want a rom that has full fuctionality, so Im stuck with 3.0. I know how to use m10 tools, but I cant identify all the images that go into the dock. Anyway, if anyone can, or wants to help me, let me know or send me a pm....

I tried to do it myself, apparently the m10 tools cant decompile the 3.5 fusion.apk correctly. There are no images available when I decompiled it.

You can add and use any of those. I have all thirty loaded and have tested them all. Currently i am using Acid Rosie and it works great.
Its a nice way to change up your launcher, I d/l them all today and (rooting again) and will put them on my TB.
I'm so fed up with the lack of selection in Thunderbolt roms. There's Synergy Sense 3.0, but its got a damn theme. There's a flashable zip to make it "stock" but it doesn't work 100% for some reason. I've tried replacing the problem files with stock Sense 3.0 ones to no avail.
I tried Synergy bliss Sense 3.5, and I HATED the way it looked. But the speed blew me away. What I'm asking is can anyone point me in the right direction of what apks to put into the rom to make it look like Runnymede. Don't point me to liquid vigorate, please. I want it to look completely untouched and look like Stock Sense 3.5 (not the bliss varient) as made by HTC. That's all I ask. I managed to replace the launcher and lockscreen without it throwing a fit. I'm stuck. I'm not asking for someone to make me a flashable zip, as for some reason I seem to be the only one who wants this.
you do realize there is no such thing as a stock Sense 3.5 for the Thunderbolt? They are all ports of the Vigor, Bliss etc. So all of them have had to be modified to mark to work on the TB, thus the appearance of thumbing. The files that control most of this stuff is:

com.htc.resources
fusion
rosie
Idlescreen
Replacing those will of modifying those will get you the cleanest rom you can have

You will have to decompile the skin with m10 tools.
I believe if it is the stock skins it will not work at the moment
/system/app/fusion.apk is where most of them have been in the past versions of sense. but like ^^^ he said you need to have the m10 tools to decode them
Right now you cant edit Sense 3.6 images even when they're decompiled with the M10 editor. The M10 tool is not up to date for Sense 3.6. It will decompile, but wont allow you to change any images. Not to mention in 3.6 they moved some images around so they aren't in their usual spots any more.
I know the M10 editor doesn't work with sense 3.6. But I came across a how to article months ago on here showing how you can do a work around to use a 3.0 lockring, but it couldn't be the default theme or skin. It had to be the burgandy skin or something. Could someone possibly point me in the right direction?
I'd really like to use a different lock ring, but not sure how.

I am not sure I'm getting the question right. But, you're looking for an effect on your Launcher?
I did a quick search and it seems that a few roms with the Rosie Launcher has removed the Carousel effect from the rom. Your best bet is probably to flash a new rom that actually has the effect, or download another launcher that has a similar effect.
The carousel effect absolutely destroyed Sense 3.0 and Sense 3.5. HTC finally got their heads straight on Sense 3.6 (aka Sense 4.0 lite with ICS), and either toned it down or removed it (I forget). It's awful.
This video in particular sticks out like a sore thumb for those long, forgotten days:
If you want anything remotely close without an impediment on performance (actually, it's once of your only choices), use LauncherPro (Plus may be needed, not sure), and apply a homescreen transition animation.
Another launcher may have this, and it may be free, but LauncherPro is my launcher of choice despite not having updated for 1.5 years. It's pretty damn fast and has everything I need; no more, no less.
