Are you rooted? If not get rooted and flash a new rom like CM7/MIUI. If your already rooted you can flash a new rom or use an app like Titanium Backup to hide the apps.

Well i would actually like to remove them. And yes im rooted. On tsm res. right now and it has a few apps i would like to get rid of

Freeze them tibu

Then you can remove any app you want with Titanium Backup, or Terminal Emulator.

I use root uninstall free will let u remove any app on phone

That root unistaller was probably the best apl i have used. Wish they would automatically add that into builds

did it install as a system app? Strange. Could always use tibu to convert to a user app(if it is a system app) or just clear data and uninstall from tibu itself.

This app is a security application is it not? There are 2 options for install, both an apk file as well as a flashable zip. Did you install the apk or flash the zip. As well did the developer of the app give special instructions on uninstalling? If the app is for locating a lost phone there may be a trick to the uninstall process.
Titanium backup should allow the removal if your phone is rooted.

For me, I use avast and they have a removal tool built into the app for the anti theft portion. After that's removed you can uninstall the antivirus portion like any other apk. I would definitely check within the app first to see if there's a removal tool.

Ah yes thank you for reminding me. Usually there is ab option in the app that let's you un install it normally but since I was having problems the Dev Gave me a custom apk to run (and now another one which is why I had to uninstall) and I did move it as a system app that's why. I was successfully able to remove through titanium backup. Idk why I didn't think of it before. Thanks guys! Btw I highly recommend this app for security purposes.

[Q] How do I delete the bloat ware on s3 ??

Hi Guys....
I have rooted my GT-19300T Australian version of S3 and want to delete the bloat wares to extend the battery drainages and hope to get more ram memories.
Can anyone guide me as to how to delete the bloat wares and the list of bloat wares that can be safely removed please??
Thanks in advance
use titanium to first freeze the apps, then, if there are no ill effects, remove them.

Thanks for ur information

Have to be rooted to remove system apps. Alternatively may just disable them in settings > application manager without root.

You should be able to remove system apps using titanium backup or Rom toolbox. But as previous poster said its better to freeze them first using either of the above applications.

I use this app to delete the bloatware. It costs $1 well worth it.

Rooted & looking to uninstall bloat

What's up everyone. Just rooted my Rezound and wanted to get rid of some of the factory installed apps/games etc....
Is there a list of "YES" and "NO" things that I can uninstall so I don't remove something I shouldn't.
Also I got Root uninstaller from the market, will this app do the trick or should I use something different.
Thanks in advance.

Since your rooted, you could try Titanium Backup. It allows you to "freeze" apps which has a similar effect to actual removal but you can unfreeze them if you need to. There are some old list around but they have not been updated in a long time. I have frozen about 43 user apps--just stay away from system apps.
Good luck.
Nvm
Thanks I'll give it a shot

[Q]How can I remove and replace stock apps?

I'm running CyanogenMod 11, and I wanted to remove the stock camera, I found alot of links on google to do it through Terminal Emulator but It never works. also I want to replace it with the camera from the stock rom, and if I try to install that the app never installs properly. Any help would be appreciated.

You won't get a Sense camera to work on a non-sense ROM, just doesn't work, so you won't get the stock Rezound camera to work on CM.
If you like a different camera app, just install it, and if you REALLY want it in the system, use something like Ultimate Backup or Titanium Backup to make it a system file, and associate camera with it. You could also remove the stock camera app if you want, but why?
I don't like the redundancy, and it saves space on the the device. Its frozen for now but I'd rather exercise my android more than that.

Fair enough... You can remove a system app with either of the two programs I mentioned above as well.
