I travel to NYC tomorrow, an i would buy the Amaze 4G there to
replace my HTC HD2.
Is the Amaze 4G Sim/Net locked to the an T-Mobile US Sim or the T-Mobile US Network or is it possible to use other SIM (in my case German Telefonica o2)!
Is it possible to buy it without contract in T-Mobile Store in NYC?
Also to buy it unlocked or to get an unlock code at the T-Mobile store?
Anyone knows about price for unlock?
Can i buy an unlocked Amaze 4G somewhere else in NYC? Price?
Or is it possible to unlock it by myself??
How is the availability for the white Amaze 4G in NYC stores???

You can buy amaze from any T-Mobile store here in USA. Regarding unlocked you have to request code from T-Mobile or you can buy code from online.

I've had a search around and can't find an answer to this so far. I'm still looking though.
There is a seller offering the Atrix 4G in the UK. As far as I know, the bands are compatible for 2G and 3G. I don't expect 4G to work as the UK is only auctioning off the 4G spectrum next year.
I want to find out if the phone will update itself in the UK, OTA or WiFi, I'm not bothered which.
The seller has 50 of these to sell, all "unlocked and without carrier affiliations". Will this allow me to do things like sideloading .APK files that AT&T has blocked on their devices?
has anyone got any experience using an Atrix in the UK?
My other options for handsets are the Incredible S and the Optimus 2x, although I'm liking the huge battery and qHD display on the Atrix.
I'm selling a Nexus S if anyone is interested. It's on ebay, seller cfhuk. I'll waive the postage for XDA and MoDaCo members, and this has also been posted in the ebay section of the forum. Sorry if saying this here breaks the rules. I linked it in the ebay section.

It is compatible in the uk. I have a friend who uses it on vodafone. Works both 2g & 3g

The phone is offered by Telus, Wind, Mobilicity and Videotron. You might want to look all these canadian provider. Which band do you need ?
If you cannot buzy it online You might ask someone to buy it for you and get it shipped.

The phones are tied to the networks at the moment, no one, not even HTC themselves offer a sim-free Amaze. If you want one you will have to by a Network phone off eBay that somebody doesn't want. So far there seems to be only T-mobile versions out there. Besides you can only unlock the T-mobile version for flashing ROMs at the moment..
Why do you want a Canadian model for? Is it the lack of branding?

Kindly provide the Indian version Model number of Motorola Photon 4G; so I can buy it in India without any US Carrier restriction and also to have Motorola India warranty. Like HTC Desire HD is available in India & same is available with At&T as HTC Inspire 4G. Kindly help.

Photon has not been released in india yet.
though you can get it from eBay.
My friend the Photon 4g is a world phone and comes unlocked. It doesn't matter whether you are in India or any other country. Buy the phone off Ebay. Its one of the coolest phone's every. Durable, smart and cheap compared to the others sold here. Am using it since Dec last year and have been loving it since.
But forget the warranty part then. lol
