I tested this kernel and works fine for me! Never critical battery drain...

Can never have too many ROMs but I think this will be moved.

Thanks testing out ROM now. Was looking for ROM with XXKI4 and camera hack and battery circle and yours seems to fit the bill.
Ill be using speedmod kernel as seems best for me overall on all roms

Still a nice one, thanks

Using speedmod kernel with this rom i loose usb mass storage functionality (no usb connected notification), same with hellcat or stock samsung kernel.
Only working ones so far are the bundled one and cyanogenmod.

[UNOFFICIAL][ROM][4.1.1][AOSP] Codename Android 3.0.1 PrePrePreAlpha [JB][08/01/2012]

Codename Android is a rom that focuses on speed, usability, and getting every feature that I can get CRAMMED in there. This rom will include features from all over (credit given of course). Codename Android is back and releasing roms again, have fun, flash away.
Side-note: Codename Android is an open source project, but due to the spontaneity of the posting of the rom, full, compilable source will be released on the github within a day or two.

Hi,
Do you know if this build 4.1.1 has the problems of the 4.0.4 brinking phones????
I know I had the chip that has the problem.. and don't want to test and crash.
I think that only the official stock 4.0.4 has this problem when erase or clean/wipes datas on Cwm to install other ROM.
Do you know if nobody has brick with 4.1.1 or aosp or cyanogen???
thank you
Other thing.... looks great

Info regarding navigation bar: (Click show content)
The only way Notta could get the navigation bar to work was to enable it by default. So the navigation bar is on by default. This can still be turned on/off by going into System settings/Interface/Powermenu then check the Navigation bar toggle!
If you press the power button, you will then see in the menu a on/off button to turn the navigation bar on and off.
When it's on you'll see the options to modify the navigation bar settings under System settings/Interface/Navigation Bar
When it's off you'll see the hardware remapping options. System settings/Interface/Hardware Keys. If you need to make any changes to hardware remapping, Turn off the navigation bar from power menu, makes the changes, then turn it back on.

Couldn't have said it better myself! :good:
Nice! Was running an unofficial CNA 3.3.1 JB port on my OG Evo before upgrading to the LTE. Been hoping, praying even, that someone would port this to the EvoLTE. Can't wait to try this out.
i didnt flash it yet, but do we have to have those three touch buttons on screen?

No, they are not on by default, but they are included in the ROM options for anyone who does use them. I used the codename android screenshots from the website, so those screenshots are from a galaxy nexus device.

AFAIK, those only appear if/'when the device does not have it's own dedicated buttons. the LTE has it's own, so they shouldn't appear.
Of course thats how it SHOULD be. I'm still waiting for my phone to charge up so i can flash this.
Does this have the option to change notification drop down background?
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
Think im gonna have to give this a go. Glad to see someone finally making an OP that is well laid out and informative instead of just "heres a rom flash it." well done sir.

No it does not, I think AOKP is the only AOSP rom with that option at the moment.

Stupid question, but did you flash GAPPS?
If so, did you flash the GAPPS from OP?
If yes, try to reflash. If still having an issue, try these gapps: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip
Post back results.
Thanks

Dear developer, I tried flashing but it stops half way and says failed. I tried a diirty flash too and it ended in a bootloop ;-(
cool!! new rom for DEB! :highfive:
Will try this soon! thanks a lot!
Thanks I will try this rom. Can I use the pa_gapps-full-4.4-20131119-signed.zip or pa_gapps-stock-4.4.2-20131215-signed for the Google apps? (original from CM?) What is the differents between a deb rom and flo rom?
Edit: DEB is LTE version and FLO is the only wifi version.
Edit 2: Indeed Gapps stock is ok.

Not possible for you to include the change in framework-res.apk? It's only one string
the problem is not like you think.. or what i understand from you.
multirom Manger use flo twrp.. due this rom has device id verification its recognized as deb which will not work with flo.. all we need is remove device id verification or add flo i think.. waiting the developer to fix it
have a nice day
believe me, just use xpose framework and that nexus sms. they will work.
Thx again, but question was for Rom dev.
Don't want to use this framework.

Turbo ROM is a custom Android ROM based on the latest Android Marshmallow (6.0.1_r43). Sourced from a straight AOSP/CAF base, the ROM is now extremely feature rich and has lots of customization options. My ( @Yoshi_Guy ) goal with this ROM is to create a ROM with as many customization options and possible while still being stable. In addition, the ROM uses RRO/Layers for theming with full DayNight support. SuperSU is pre-installed.

Nice to see many ROMs for Moto X
I've been running the rom since yesterday. Smoother than what I've found in other CM based roms, and haven't had a crash or random reboot since installing it. Couple of things worth noting: the aosp audio patch is needed. Also, screen pining is not working properly. It actually pins the page, but I haven't been able to get out unless I do a reboot. No NFC. And, the LCD density changer didn't work for me, but it wasn't a big deal since I edited the build prop. Other than that I haven't had an issue with others apps.

btw, is Turbo ROM bootable on your device? It does not boot on my device. Stuck at boot animation
Layers is different. It booted for me. I'm using banks gapps. Make sure you do a clean install, that could be the problem.

Any kernal recommended for this rom? The charging is too slow
Using this rom for more than a month now, probably the best Cm 13 rom currently available, no bugs at all(except the normal CM 13 Bugs), Thanks to the Developers

Was using that before, had random reboot issues plus this is much smoother, haven't faced any lag or any reboot issues for a month now
does this rom have pie?
Sent from my fx-82MS with CyanogenMod
Installed this ROM last night. Was hoping it wouldn't have the battery bug that exists in Cyanogenmod 13 and OctOS. Unfortunately the bug exists here too. My phone died at 30% battery today.
The other issue that also seems to exist on all Marshmallow Moto X ROMs is the fact that CPU Usage and Battery Usage doesn't list all apps, only system ones. Is there any fix for this?
Gps signal is too weak for me on CID12 based firmware compared to stock, the gps can lock but can maintain it and it takes so long to catch satellites, can we manage to make some tests? i dont know which part of stock system is the one who determines the gps behaviour more than gps.conf that doesnt seem to change anything, i think its something with the cid12 modem and the rom based in another modem or somewhat, am i wrong?
