About ME:
Hello, well, I won't say that i didn't had this idea by reading the Leedroid post, I found that it was a good idea
My name is Lucas, I'm french, and 18 (Birthday 18 of November!). I just begun Android works with my HTC Desire, that was my first real Android phone.
At the begining, I was a real, iOS fan. I was dumb .
Android Cooking is a passion, a passion that I want to share, with you, XDA-Dev Users.
On My Desire (Not HD), I was kinda "Lol, yeh, I have to admit that Android is kinda cool"
So, Now, my SGS2 Is sooo FAST!
I was first, modifying roms, for myself.
I've worked on, Ultimate droid first, then, moved to CM.
And, now, I'm working on solid Cyanogen MOD 7.1.
What I'm doing is not compilating work etc...
I'm just unbloating those roms, pushing some nice cool ui, and tweakin', a lot really a lot of tweakin'.

This rom is for Daily USE. But, if you check my signature, you see what it can do with some overclocking .
Modified SystemUI, Framework, Phone, Contact, Fonts (Helvetica Neue like ), Launcher (Gingerbread Launcher with custom Wallpapers ), And, Awesome Dancing Droid Bootanimation .

hi lucas, rom looks nice will download now and give u some feedback, btw since u have been doing ultimate droid can u not do a ultimate droid for our beloved Samsung, that rom should fly on this phone, i loved ultimate droid roms when i had desire hd, anyway all the best and keep it up, Regards.

Copy to sdcard, go recovery full wipe and format /system from mount and storage section, and flash the zip.

As we all know CyanogenMOD 7 is the most desired ROM in Ace. But it has yet to come! So our 4 Best Developers started to port Gingerbread AOSP. CyanogenMOD 7 was also made from Gingerbread AOSP.

Are these guys trying to make a ROM from scratch? i think it would take hell lot of time compiling the whole rom!, that sounds great, My salutes to them
But will it add some extra features like Tv out, HD recording... i don't think so
I just want to know how would it really benefit the average users like me???

A big thanks. I am reciving files from EmoBoiix3 to extract from system.Img to do some fixes and send it to Fla.sh for him to pack into ODIN. No cwm package ATM but maybe. and we are building from source but android.git.kernel.org is down ATM we need that to sync to get aosp files

AOSP stands fot Android Open Source Project . It means a pure Google phone , which was not dirtied by Samsung's hands.....currently it boots , but launcher.apk and settings.apk force close on start . (I did something wrong probably)

And of course no extra features. AOSP is aimed to be a base rom for other developers. Extra features will come in the event somebody wants to use it as base and add features. thanks everyone! I'm the tester for the team anyway, not a developer.
Guyz Go On! I know you guyz can make the best ROM for Ace I'm long waiting 4 a gingerbread AOSP! Bored of Touchwiz!
Hopefully, developer will keep people sentiments in mind and try their level best to release this ROM by next week. Lets motivate to development teams.
The aosp has no in-built task manager.....so you'll need to download a task manager yourself . Hey Jekle_Ace , you have gapps right ? So that we can fix the Market disappearance ?

An AOSP like this could mean a new start for SGA's ROM development, using this as a base instead of Sammy's would give future ROM releases more performance and reliability..

Probably the title being misleading. It's not cyanogenmod-like. Cyanogenmod has so much additional features. This is just a plain rom to be without things from brands. Think vanilla.

Being this is the old base and I am updated to new base and radio. My questions are: Can I run this as is w/ Chad's Rev-9 even though my phone is already updated?
Will this setup bork the camera or anything else?

I'm on the new base and I flashed this I haven't tried to change the kernel though it came with a nice one.

Just flash the Rom like you would any other Rom. Hboot1.5 users must push the boot.IMG. don't matter what firmware or radio you are on. My phone has all the new firmware, runs fine. So no worries

Buddy...Rev 009 is one of the best kernel out there for ROMs with the old base (my opinion). I thought chad was gonna remove it from his site but he left it there! +1 for that. "My OPINION"....use it buddy, and if u like to OC.......oh boy! Ur in for one hell of a ride! But hey, its just "my opinion"!

Dood! I know that kernel is INCREDIBLE! I ran it with Eternity 1.4.2 and got 600+ hrs of uptime.. 20 hr Batt. cycles of hard use with both v9 and v13 and
I just haven't flashed an old base ROM and I'm on hboot 1.5. Wasn't sure if my updated phone would still be compatible with an old base ROM and kernel. So you and X say it will, just push/flash boot.img through adb. Right?
Plus I saw this and really love it when it was a theme.. ran it for literally, a couple of months!

With 500+ posts that u have, I know you're not new to this. But, when i bought my wife an EVO 3d, this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HclYpo0ZR3s helped me big time because of the hboot 1.5. I have 1.4 so when I noticed that hers was 1.5...I was literally "LOST" lol. I said this before but again...I went thru hell to get her phone unlocked, rooted and flash a ROM (Blackend cause thats the one she wanted)! This ROM has Chad's Rev 009 so is this video can make ur flashing experience better (I hope)...go for it! Good luck my friend!

No matter the update or firmware your phone may have, you can flash any rom you want. if you are hboot 1.5 you can use this method just replace the recovery info with the boot info. http://team-nocturnal.com/how-to-flash-with-hboot-15-evo-3d.html

Okaaaaaay,... I pushed the .img and Rom is working perfect! All I can say is WOW dude!!! This Rom is fast and smooth and really loving the theme! First time on Nocturnal Rom and very impressive! Thanx for your work Magical!

Versions explanation:
Version numbers of this ROM could be a little confusing.
For example this ROM version is: MIUI 3D v4 2.3.23 0.1. Explanation:
MIUI 3D - static name of this ROM;
v4 - MIUI UI version;
2.3.23 - MIUI framework version;
0.1 - this ROM version.
The only number that could change is 0.1. It indicates development progress and stage.

Thanks, but I don't consider this ROM as mine. It belongs to everyone, everybody is free to do whatever they want to do. Besides, I just ported MIUI. E3DLight was a result of months of hard work to make it nice, all by myself. In this case I hope somebody will help.

mdeejays AOKP kernel for EVO was 0,7 - his AOKP rom was pretty complete except deep sleep and cam, of course 3D...but deepsleep was the main issue. I quess mdeejay would be able to fix those issues right now (i mean deep sleep and 2d cam), but is busy to port 3D to sense 4. Hopefully get fixed soon so he can have an eye on other non-sense roms. His AOKP untouched for over moth....
So is deepsleep working on this?

Nope. It's kernel-related issue. Since we've got EVO 3D Linux 3.0 kernel source for ICS, it should be really easy to fix. But I've never done anything related to kernel. I'll try my best but I can't promise anything.

OK, i see, installed and it says 0,7 kernel - deep sleep not here, some more bugs as latest mdeejays AOKP. Will not go through all as they are lot, hopefully you will get working on it ...push on mdeejay to solve kernel, i know he can do it even without HTC
So we have to wait for proper kernel, not for miui only but also sense aokp etc....but was nice feel to have phone shortly on 1,6hgz again - 6800 antutu

i dont know how many times iv said this before, but i bought a desire because of miui, ididnt buy the evo for it though lol, but i never forgot my love, as the above person has said, this is a great base, and what a difference between ics miui and gb miui, miui v4 and this rom as it is, is freaking sexy lmfao

I work down in a dungeon and lte just doesn't make it 2 floors under the city. We have great 4g here, it only drops down in the basement. Otherwise I can look at cows while having 4g

Thanks, I'll have to see where it goes...I have a little more to remove. So far I've gone as far as deleting pngs from the framework and system apks that aren't needed with sense removed. I may be able to dump a few more libs...I dunno lol. I have no plans to rebase (yet) since tweaks don't work on the ota and honestly it is rock solid for me.

This ROM is based off of Agrabren's CM10 Disarmed Toaster for CDMA and is ported from the HTC Sensation Paranoid Android ROM.
This build is considered to be stable, but is a far cry from being 100% finished. As the Camera and Bluetooth do not work.
The good:
It boots!
****For those of you who are experiencing bootloops, this has to do with the radio. After flashing this ROM if you encounter a bootloop, try reflashing your radio and that should fix the bootloop. I have tested this myself but it has not been confirmed by others yet. Try this at your own risk, I am not responsible for bricked phones or anything else that might occur when using this ROM or flashing radios*****

Actually now that I go back and look, they should be integrated into the ROM Sorry this is my first ROM so I'm still a little new at this

word on the street is Mazda is helping out one of the developers to bring the JB side of this ROM up to speed... meaning working mic, sound, wifi, data, etc.

Finally got my evo3d to run its proper data speeds....or close to it. (wimax - 9mb/ 3g 1ish dl). I was getting 1mb/ and .3k before) horrible. so i had to get a sense dialer to access, so it meant switching from asop to sense to make the setting changes in the MSL menus. Then i switch back to asop cm9 rom and my data speeds sucked again. So i switch back to the sense rom, and all the MSL settings where reset. So is there anyway to make these settings stay when switching roms, or is there a back door access to these settings in an asop rom, or are you just stuck with bad data speeds, etc. with asop roms? thanks.
by the way, doesnt really deal to much with this rom, but I wouldnt mind switching to it if i can keep my good data speeds.
